Right across the street from Supertubos Beach, this hostel is located in one of the premier surfing spots in Portugal. Supertubos Beach Hostel provides surfing lessons, scuba diving and tours at an extra fee and features free WiFi.
All of the rooms at Supertubos feature access to a shared bathroom. Some rooms also include flat-screen cable TV, a balcony and views of the sea and garden area.
Breakfast is included and served each morning for all guests of the hostel. Guests are welcome to prepare their meals in the units’ communal kitchens. These are equipped with microwave, refrigerator, stove, toaster, cutlery and coffee machine. Outdoor barbecue facilities are also available.
The Peniche city centre is a 12-minute drive and has many shops and restaurants available. The local cuisine specializes in various types of fish and seafood-dishes.

Review 2：Fantastic location, great value accommodation, fab breakfast, warm and friendly atmosphere. Luis is a local legend and welcomes everyone like you're staying at his own house (which you in effect are).

Review 3：Really good facilities and well set up if you're heading to Peniche to surf. A minutes walk to Supertubos, you can check the surf from your window! Really friendly place to stay. About a 5-10 min drive to Baleal.

Review 8：The top room is a bit small but you do get a private bathroom and there is extra storage space in the room.

Review 9：We arrived an hour early for check in and even though the hostel was fully booked Luis accommodated us and gave a full run down of the place. His offer to use his own personal surfboard for rental was really awesome. Surprise Pastel de Nata at breakfast was great! Offer to park our bike in a safe spot off the road was great and facility to do our washing for free was awesome.

Review 10：The location is great, because the house is really close to the beach, and therefore ideal for surfing. As far as breakfast is concerned, it leaves nothing to be desired. The hostel is very clean and it has got a nice playing room, where table tennis can be played or it is as well nice for relaxing on the couch. Luis, the owner of the hostel, is very helpful and kind and if you are interested in surfing, he will tell you where to go, to catch the best waves. I can highly recomment this hostel to you. I'll definitely return to this place for my next surftrip to Peniche.

Review 11：Bit noisy sometimes but thats part of the concept of sharing common spaces. And people were super respectfull so, not a big deal...

Review 12：Luis, the manager, is someone who really likes to take care of his visitors. Everything rolls perfectly and the athmosphere there is super fine. He gave me really good tips about the surfspots and the area. My girlfriend and I enjoyed that despite the fact we had a shared bathroom it remained very clean and available. Rooms are very ok and common areas enjoyable like the livingroom the pingpong/games area... + you can cook in the convenient kitchen witch is an important point to me as I don't enjoy eating all the time in restaurants. So I definitly recommand the place wich is right in front of the beach !!

Review 15：We went on a honey moon/bodyboard trip with my wife and stayed at supertubos beach hostel. Everything there was good, the breakfast, internet connection, etc. Our room had a great sea view to consolacao beach (AMAZING VIEW). A short walk and you are at supertubos and if you wanna go to Peniche town, its just a few minutes drive. We recommend this place to everyone. We also want to thank once more to the hostel's owner Luis who helped us with every single question we had, with all the info regarding surf spots and where to eat and for the great vibe. And last but not least, thanks to the staff, specially to Raul for the fun breakfasts!

Review 16：We had a great time at Supertubos beach hostel! The hostel was very clean, our room was nice and had what we needed. The owner Louis was really friendly! He really takes care of his guests and helps with Everything that you might need. What ever you needed you can just find Louise and he'll help you! The best thing about the hostel is the familliar enviroment, everyone is hanging out ith everyone, having bbq:S, eating breakfast togheter. We have already started thinking about when we're gonna come back :D Good to know is that the surfing is in Baleal and not by the hostel so everyone rented a car from Lisbon, and a car is good to have! We didn't have a car so we biked to Baleal (around 6-7 km) and walked into Peniche and that takes around 45 min. If you're renting a car do it at the Airport in Lisbon! But book supertubos beach hostel, we loved it :D

Review 17：We had a very pleasant stay at Supertubos, from the moment we arrived Luis was very friendly and helpful, he was more than happy to answer any questions and help out with info about the area. He cooked up a BBQ feast on the first night for the guests and it was great! Overall a lovely place to stay, beach view, clean, homely hostel with lots of character and great communal atmosphere with guests from all different countries. Free breakfast was very nice and all the kitchen/living facilities were fantastic. The place was all set up for hanging wetsuits out and keeping your surfboards safe in the board room. Lovely, tidy double bedroom with plenty of storage space. Plenty to do and not too far from Peniche and Baleal, if I was to return I would definitely hire a car but getting taxis was not a problem, especially with Luis offering to call them for us. Brilliant, chilled place to stay, we were very happy with our experience.

Review 18：The location could not possibly be better. Right on the beach with a fabulous view. Many places we passed the view was blocked by the sand dunes but not this place. The road in front of the house was quiet while we were there. It might be busier during the summer season but we were not bothered by any traffic at all. The bed was so comfortable and very nice to have a real double bed rather then two singles pushed together. The place was clean and had everything we could have needed. The kitchen was well supplied to make supper in the evening. The host was very friendly and helpful, helping us fix our car and providing us with lots of information about where to go and what to see in the area. We cannot say enough positive things about this place. We will definitely be returning here if we come back to Portugal.

Review 19：Beautiful rooms. Great views from the windows, you could see amazing ocean from your room and hear the sound of the ocean. Review 24：The hostel is far from the Peniche city. You have to take taxi to get there. The walls of the hostel are very thin. In the last night of our stay, there was a young couple sleeping next to us and they were very loud. You can hear exactly every word of their conversation.

Review 25：The beach is absolute highlight and very clean, but not so overwhelmed. and the hostel is located directly beside the beach. The seafood under the fort is awesome! fresh and cheap!

The hostel is extremely clean. The bathroom is spacious and luxurious. A car would be recommended to get around from this location though.

Review 29：We got upgraded to a beautiful private room with a balcony and first class ocean view. Everything very clean and comfortable! The host Luis is a very nice and friendly person! He arranged surf courses for us, took us to the bus station when we left and gave us some helpful advices. Would stay there again!

Review 32：Location is just on front of beach. House is quite new/in good conditions. Clean and fresh even during summer. Facilities are very good and for all to use. Good breakfast. Outside meeting point very nice to have a beer just after a day at the beach. Luis, the owner/responsible, is amazing and very kind to all guests. He gives you some hints a takes you places if needed/available.

Review 35：SuperTubos hostel is a really nice place to stay several days in Peniche. The locations is perfect, pretty close to SuperTubos beach. The hostel is clean and comfortable, but maybe the most important thing is the kindness of its host, Luis. When I go back, without any doubt, I will book there again. The quality of the hostel and the people in charge of its maintaining is incomparable.

We just happened to book this hostel since we hated the other place we booked and ended up with fun memories for life. Two days and they took us to a Medieval Festival, booked surfing for us and drove us around. There is a difference between loving what you do and just doing it because you have to and it is very clear why Luis, his family and Adam are doing it.

Review 40：We had an amazing stay at Supertubos beach hostel. Couldn't have asked for a better location right across the road from the beach. We were only going to stay 2 nights but the host and his family (+ Adam, you legend) treated us like their own so we stayed for an extra 2. They would go out of their way to help us whenever we asked for recommendations. We biked, surfed, explored and even went to a medieval festival in Obidos during our stay. Time of our lives! Thanks guys!

Review 41：Luis has been a great host, always there for a chat and to answer questions. He made a BBQ for us and took us to medieval festival in Obidos. We had a room with sea view and could hear the waves... The rooms are spacious and comfortable and have really cool wallpaper with surfing photos taking on the beach opposite the hostel. Breakfast was delicious, the coffee was to strong it could wake the dead! We took surfing classes at Tribo do Mar surf school, which was perfect. All in all, great people, great place, great holiday! We'll be back!

Review 63：We stayed in a double room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The owner Luis is a superb host. He cooked us a lovely meal upon arrival and then took us out to a great bar 10 mins down the road. The house is immaculate and our shared bathroom had all the essentials that make a difference - shampoo, shower gel, sunscreen etc. We were only supposed to be staying for one night whilst passing through Peniche but we enjoyed our experience so much we decided to stay another night. We would definitely stay here again should we get to Portugal again. Highly recommended.

They took us on a tour around Peniche, and in to town to do some grocery shopping, let us use their bikes and body boards, and then took us to Obidos after our stay to catch the train.
