Reviews for VVP Verhuur Vinkeveen

Review 1:Room furniture and decorations brings you back to 1990. Very average quality bed.

Review 2:Very clean room, nice surroundings, good WiFi, friendly helpful staff.

Review 3:Great Location at a fancy lakefront city. Owner was awesome as she showed us the room and explained access to Amsterdam and the local shops. Rooms were nice, with a private terrace. Had all the living amenities with kitchenette, wifi, and English TV.

Review 4:There is nothing that I didn't like.

Review 5:The staff at VVP were brilliant, Irma the owner is great and will go out of her way to help you in any way she can. I would definitely stay here again.

Review 6:1. Friendly host, very nice and considerate. She suggested us the trip to the Amsterdam in detail, recommended good restaurant. She is very professional doing business. 2. Riding the boat in the beautiful lake is such a wonderful experience; 3. Enjoy the time sitting in the balcony and listening to the ducks and birds; 4. Home style rooms is warm and sweet 5. Good breakfast ! You should order it.

Review 7:Rooms quite old fashion however very clean :-).

Review 8:Location absolutely wonderful, landscape breathtaking, view superb, surrounding areas to visit or practice aquatic sport very nice. Breakfast was delightful, everything you can desire was there, so fresh, tasty and healthy, and the price of it even better. Owners/staff of the place very nice, friendly ever so helpful.

Review 9:There's nothing to point out. Only satisfaction :)

Review 10:The owner and the staff were really friendly and willing to help us. The fitted kitchen had the most important equipments. The view to the lake was beautiful!

Review 11:Very small airless and dark 'chalet '. Needed front door open to get air flow but unable to have window fully open due to modquitoes. Bed was a Sofa bed and uncomfortable. Very Little other Space with bed extended. Gas hob perched on top of fridge. Electric cables everywhere.

Review 12:Beautiful Part of Holland.

Review 13:A bit long walk (3 km) from the nearest bus stop. No baking oven in the appartments kitchen block.

Review 14:Very friendly staff. Right on the waterfront in this beautiful area, where you can make lovely boat trips. We could arrive late (21.45) without that being a problem. Good sound isolation in the walls (the appartments on both sides and the one above us were occupied, but we heard nothing). Very clean.

Review 15:Though I took paid wifi, it was disconnecting most of the times. It should be improved to have more stable signals etc.

Review 16:Overall stay was fantastic, it got all amenities and the lady (owner) was helpful in giving the route directions.

Review 17:wifi connection sometimes was not too good but I suspect it was because of unstable work of my phone's wifi receiver, not a hotel's router.

Review 18:nice and friendly owner of a hotel comfortable room with all needed equipment nice and quiet place

Review 19:Cons: Location is outside of village. No shops around. Need to drive for ~2,5 kms to get to them. Though web site said we can pay with debit card there - we were asked to pay cash.

Review 20:Pros: Friendly lady managing the appartman, well working internet. Kitchen well equipped. Parking on site - so no issues.

Review 21:Location, location, location. Could not ask for a more professional and caring staff. As a family with a small child, this was the perfect stay while still being close to Amsterdam. Rent a boat and relax on the water.

Review 22:Nothing. We didn't try the breakfast.

Review 23:Stayed in the lake house. Great views of the lake and wildlife (e.g. ducks, swans). Rooms were clean and perfect for four people (two adults and two children). Free WIFI if you need to connect. Good local restaraunts. 20-40 min from Zandvoort (the ocean), Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Harlaam, Utrecht, etc.

Review 24:It was a sofa bed converted to make double bed. Far from Amsterdam center so car is a must to get to this place.

Review 25:Nice place to live ... quite and peaceful...

Review 26:Room was a bit dated. Definitely need a vehicle.

Review 27:I loved the location. Easy access to water, ease of getting to airport, closeness to Amsterdam, easy access to motorway. Free parking. Very pretty. We never got to use it but there was a nice patio attached to room.

Review 28:The view is of the back of a canal, not of the lake as they make you believe. The noise of the highway nearby means you cannot pretend this is a rural spo.

Review 29:Simple basic accommodation. Clean and well looked after

Review 30:Minor issues - can be easily solved:1. No microwave in the kitchen. 2. Master bedroom has no lock :-( 3. Do not accept credit cards - the owner assured me that she is already in process with the credit companies, and was able to sort things out with us, but it has to be mentioned here until she does...

Review 31:Place is decently maintained, bathroom and shower both newly renovatedand well facilitated. The Shalle unit we rented was comfortable andspacious for the four of us (2+2, 14 and 8). Free wifi available.Location is very nice - by the lake (50 m from a swimming area, 10m' from the dock), 5 minutes from the highway (a2) and 10 minutesfrom the Amsterdam arena p+r (Park & Ride). Supermarket is available5 minutes drive away (Albert Heijn) Kitchen is adequate - we were ableto home-cook breakfast and dinner. Owner is very welcoming andcooperative. Free parking near the Shalle (not obvious in Holland). Allin all - we enjoyed it a lot. We were doing a 'star' trip andused it as a base. We give it 4.5 stars If you plan a leisure stay -probably this is even better.

Review 32:- no action around the place (very calm) - less privacy (suits close to each other)

Review 33:- beautiful lake (50 meters away) - close to Amsterdam and Zandvoort - kind boss' wife - sweet terrace

Review 34:The room itself is a very small. It would probably be adequate for 2 adults and maybe a child but we had 3 adults and we were very cramped. The bathroom is so small an adult can hardly turn around between the sink and the wall.

Review 35:The hotel sits right on the water and we had a dock right out our back door. It was nice to sit and feed the ducks in the evenings. The tram station is just a 10 minute drive so you can go into Amsterdam without driving your car. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the area too. The area is beautiful. The staff (I think the owner) was extremely nice and helpful. She was always available if we needed her for something. The room has a small kitchenette with cookware and dishes to use during your stay. The beds are amazingly comfortable!

Review 36:They don't have vending machine for snacks and drinks

Review 37:Location and staff gives this place it's value specially Irma.

Review 38:Thanks Irma for all of your help.

Review 39:Could not fault staff. irma went over and above expectations.

Review 40:Nothing

Review 41:The self catering and proximity to Amsterdam

Review 42:Lake itself also staff was great.

Review 43:Good place for holiday and visit to IBC

Review 44:Wifi was bad, And location.

Review 45:Everything was amazing.

Review 46:Great chalet with a small garden on the waterfront

Review 47:good location and friendly owner

Review 48:Little bit difficult to find even with gps

Review 49:Great location, close to Leiden , Gouda , Utrecht. Big room, nice garden Price

Review 50:hot water in toilet was not consistent bus stop is really far no fruits in breakfast

Review 51:location

Review 52:nothing

Review 53:I enjoyed staying in this hotel. convenient, near Amstrdam, our dog was welcomed, good kitchen facilities.

Review 54:Bed to be upgrated

Review 55:Nice hospitality Great location near Amsterdam and Utrecht for Rental car travellers

Review 56:everything

Review 57:No thing

Review 58:Every thing

Review 59:friendly assistance

Review 60:Everything

Review 61:service and friendliness of the staff

Review 62:service is very nice! Good choose to it!

Review 63:We had a great time! At the back of our room was a huge window were we could go out to and be directly at the water - looked so nice .

Review 64:The piping system of the building is on the wall and it was very noisy. The water kept turning from very hot to very cold so having a shower was a bit of a problem.

Review 65:The staff were great. The view of our room was excellent, maybe a bit noisy as it was were the boats parked but it was ok.

Review 66:Shame it was not a little closer to Amsterdam but if you have a car it's no trouble. otherwise it's a 50 euro taxi each way, 3 hour walk or a 40 minute walk, a bus and a train into town. But overall 9 out of 10

Review 67:Owners extremely helpful and made the trip to be honest :) fantastic place with beautiful scenery and wildlife. Little village a few km down the road was really nice and good food delivery services in the area on justeat.nl Soft clean towels every morning too :) happy to stay again with these lovely people.

Review 68:For people using it to visit Amsterdam, a car is an absolute must.

Review 69:Beautiful location, warm welcome, great suggestions for things to do around, places to eat etc.

Review 70:A minor point: the towels were on the small side... But at least they were changed every day.

Review 71:We had a pleasant time at VVP Verhuur. The staff was very nice. The room were adequately furnished. We took the slightly larger sized one and were very satisfied. The children were in the small room, which was nevertheless well enough for them. The place is located in a particular place in a middle of a Lake (see with Google Map). It is also very peaceful. There area seems affluent, with fairly big houses sometimes. The location is also fairly convenient to go to central Amsterdam. We drove from VVP to the Arena P+R, which tool 10-15 minutes. From there the Metro line to Amsterdam takes maybe 15 minutes to reach the city centre, which is very adequate. There is a small town nearby, less than 2K, where all the usual amenities are available. The wifi also worked well, no issue at all with it despite our numerous tables and phones. Satellite TV with all sort of channels (including French and German ones, plus lots of others, but we did not really watch any TV or we should as well stayed home ;-) ).

Review 72:WIFI internet was not fast.

Review 73:We have spent a nice time in this chalet which is equipped with all staff you need for relaxing and cooking. Free parking is available for your car. Location is nice. Quite and high standard area.

Review 74:If you go for Amsterdam is a bad location (far + you need a car)

Review 75:Is a very nice and quiet place for recreation. Perfect for summer holidays, bike rides, swimming or going with boats. Room has everything and it is clean

Review 76:It is a bit far from the city centre. You need to have the car for thishotel in my opinion. Additionally although I made my reservation with aVisa card when I arrived there I learnt that Visa card is not accepted.Master cards are not accepter also. Neither of these were mentioned inthe reservation page. Just the maestro card is accepted. I needed topay in cash.During the reservation, I also bought wifi with a small fee but when I arrived that I have been said that it is not working in my room. So be prepared to not have the internet if you stay at room 9...

Review 77:The room was really clean. The staff was very helpful. The view of theroom that we stayed was very good. For the ones who will drive there ifthey will go to Amsterdam city centre think about the option of park andride as the parking in Amsterdam centre is not cheap.

Review 78:We just loved the chalet - very functional - and the place - very relaxing. We rent a car so in ten minutes we were at Amsterdam (for 8 euros the car can stay all day in P+R parking and the price includes tram tickets to city center). Staying in VVP Verhuur gave us a more complete experience of Amsterdam, the urban but also the countryside. We definitely want to come back.

Review 79:the wireless was weak ,the room was small , to use the washing machine you should pay 4 euros for each wash it was expensive if you a big family and have alots to wash

Review 80:the view was perfect, the owner very friendly, you can find every thing to buy in same area, there was a diving teaching very near

Review 81:We have no complaints.

Review 82:Irme and her family were very helpful and friendly. We found the accommodation comfortable and was in a very interesting location - and also handy to explore Amsterdam on day trips.

Review 83:unfortunately it was just to far out of Amsterdam for us so we had to reluctantly move into centre of Dam

Review 84:The accommodation was great, staff very helpful, loved having a little outside area to sit out and enjoy the lake ,

Review 85:Breakfast was served at a hotel "nearby". I am not even going through the level of hygiene of the place were we had breakfast but it was definitely NOT worth the money. If you are going to have breakfast at VVP Verhuur just go out and pick a nice place by yourself.

Review 86:The place is nice, in a very quiet neighborhood

Review 87:- great location in the middle of lake - great location near Amsterdam city centre

Review 88:I enjoyed my stay at VVP Verhuur. The view is superp, the host is very nice.

Review 89:too many insects

Review 90:Nice lady who owns the place

Review 91:Location. Car highly recommended.

Review 92:Hospitality and friendliness.

Review 93:Fantastic lakes, canals and views. Great place to hang and water sports: D

Review 94:family room was very hot. so I couldn't sleep well.

Review 95:beatiful lake

Review 96:Staff was great. Location was superb.

Review 97:room was equiped with microwave and other utensils. You could cook by yourself. Excellent

Review 98:We liked the location, friendly nature of the owner.Lovely place to spend the holidays..We are planning to visit again to that place.
