Review 1：Strange atmosphere mainly caused by awkward staff. The resort restaurant charge you a 10% service charge which they do not inform you about. Another couple complained about this and tried not to pay and the staff threatened to call the police. The hotel would have overcharged us for a tour which we got for almost half the price from the pier at the village. Overall very bad value for money. Stay somewhere else.

Review 2：Pool was nice and clean. Next door to a much friendlier place (garden resort) - if you want a pool stay at garden resort and use Mook resorts pool

Review 3：The beach was not a beach that you wanted to use. The water disappeared totally when it was ebb, which made it impossible to swim or arrive by boat. The entrance from the other side was full of glass and a lot of other dirt, awful. The breakfast was very simple. Birds and cats walking around the serving area and picked food. Bad wi-fi connection in the more expensive rooms, strange.

Review 4：The pool was nice and towels included. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Review 5：food was terrible and staff was not reactive at all. The room has not been cleaned when we moved and during the 3 days we stayed there. Staff didn't think to care after several remarks about the cleanness of facilities and room.

Review 20：The bungalows were decent, the quality that we also expected. The pool was a nice addition to the resort while during the low tide the swimming is not an option due to the low bay the resort is situated in. The hotel staff was friendly, especially the younger lads who cheered up the day with their positive attitudes! The food was great, possibility to use the canoes great, access to the other parts of the island were good. If you wish to go to the viewpoint and use the jungle "road", it might be a good strategy to come back before the dark since the path is really an adventure. Nice shoes could have made it easier but also slippers were ok although dangerous.

Review 21：Beach is all coral / rocks at low tide little sand no facilities to sit on beach when there is water, There is a pack of dogs that if you try access the beach early morning they go into attack mode you have to fend them off during the day they roam the hotel but are less freighting then The breakfast is mundane eggs eggs eggs no menu no buffet ground hog day

Review 29：Location was too far away from the village and the road was pretty dangerous especially in the dark with lots of motorbikes etc. The beach was full of glas and was definetly not for swimming. Restaurant was really expensive, which was frustrating, because the village and cheaper restaurants were just so far away.

Review 30：Nice pool, nice personnel, nice scenes, nice and clean room! Personnel were there for you and always ready to serve you if you needed something! Bicycles free to use! The island itself is superb! would recommend to everyone! Lot of activities to do, lot of places to explore!

Review 42：4 of us stayed here recently, we were really keen to stay longer asTrang Province Islands are gorgeous. We had read some dodgy reviews ofthis place but we took a chance and were really happy that we did. Wehad stayed in 6 different hotels/bungalows over 3 weeks in Thailand,in the North and South and so we knew what levels ofservice/cleanliness/mod cons vary from place to place. Thishotel was one of the better ones. The staff are very friendly and makeyou feel very welcome. They take great pride in the hotel and theirjobs, no complaints there.The bungalows are fine, you have to accept that it's a wooden bungalow with a tin roof, ceiling fan and partially open-air bathroom. But we had no signs of mice, or insects (geckos of course but they are harmless) and the room was clean, the bathroom was big and we slept really well. The food was delicious, we got good recommendations from the head waitress. The pool is really nice to use, you get beach towels and pool drinks service. We also did the Emerald Cave trip and loved it. If you walk 20 minutes up the beach, you get to see not only the local town and the locals, but you come onto Sivalai Beach which is stunning and you can sunbathe there for free without paying the prices of the people staying at the hotel! I hope Koh Mook Resort continues to thrive, it deserves to.
