Reviews for Hole Hytteutleige

Review 1:No internet .. If you are 5"11 then beds are small ..you can't stretch legs properly ..The arrangement of beds needs to be improved

Review 2:Perfect location ..You can have clear view of geiranger fjord ...

Review 3:The cottage (no.5) shower sewer maybe needs some fixing as the water rose quit alot during the (short) showering.

Review 4:Awesome view to Geiranger and very kind personel.

Review 5:Very small shower with hot water tank inside the shower stall. Cabin 15 had bad wifi connection. Almost none!

Review 6:amazing view of geirangerfjord, equipped kitchen, tv, heated bathroom floor

Review 7:Around 20 euros extra for towels n bed linen!! We were told that we should leave the place clean when we checked out and we did clean the place. However, it doesn't look like anyone inspects the place before handing the keys to the next customer. When we checked in we had to clean a dirty toilet.

Review 8:Awesome location. Great view of the Geiranger Fjord. Also prompt responses from staff on sending queries.

Review 9:The location is away from the bustle of the cruise ships, with a stunning view of the fjord. The cabin is lovely and comfortable. Just down the road is a fantastic farm restaurant. Wish we'd spent more time here. Highly recommended.

Review 10:The bunkbeds are not very comfortable, if you stay as a couple ;)

Review 11:The cabin is located near by the Geirangerfjord. You can see the Fjord from the balcony. The cabin is very nice and modern. It's a kitchen inside which is fully equiped. If we could, we would stay longer!

Review 12:The Atlantic coastal highway/ bridges is scenic as advertised butnot appropriate for most riders or the faint of heart. There are guardrails wherever the road is elevated and little room between the rail andthe traffic, forcing cyclists into the vehicle lane. Many large 18-wheeltrucks travel this road. One of us came terrifyingly close to gettinghit when the driver of a car realized he could not swerve around usbecause of an oncoming truck and at full speed squeezed between thetruck and the cyclist, with just inches to spare.

Review 13:The kitchen in our 2-bedroom cottage was the best of any of the tenplaces we stayed while in Norway, with ample counter space andeverything we needed for cooking. The combination living room/dining area was homey and comfortable. The three of us rented bikes andtook a lovely, bucolic back road to the Atlantic Highway and then acrossthe bridges. An enjoyable ride -- until we reached the guard-railedcoastal highway.

Review 14:We stayed here just for one night while doing a trip of entire Norway but god we wished for some more time here. The view from the room was just amazing and it was pure bliss after the last ferry has left. The kitchen was fully equipped. Strongly recommend this place to everyone.

Review 15:The location is no doubt close to the centre of Geirenger but that means close to many passing of tourist's busses and cars. Not for a retreat. The wifi was intermittent from our cabin. Maybe due to the distance from reception area.

Review 16:The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and spacious. The location was 10 minutes drive downhill to Geirenger Fiord where all the ferries and tourist info office resides. Our room overlooks the Geirenger Fiord but not exactly a breathtaking spot. There are many activities to do at this area.

Review 17:The studio cabin we were first placed in had a dim, cold, charmless feel. So we switched to a charming one bedroom cabin with a all-wood interior, a sod roof covered in wildflowers, and a small porch with a magnificent view of the harbor far below. Superb hiking right out the door. Very weak Internet.

Review 18:A spectacular setting with superb hiking right from the door. The main hiking trails start at the small old farm next door with a wonderful restaurant. We shared the trail with a flock of 20+ goats of all sizes who found us too slow and insisted on passing, much to our delight, hesitant babies bringing up the rear. The trails are very well maintained and take you up the mountain in a couple kilometers to a roaring waterfall you can safely climb behind holding onto steel cables. Further on you reach a high treeless valley with sweeping views of the rugged landscape. Unforgettable views and great photos.

Review 19:Nothing to complain about.

Review 20:The best scenery is just in front of your timber cabin, better than the touristic Flydalsjuvet. Owner is absolutely fantastic - willing to pick us up from the terminal, and gave us a lift to Stryn. Absolutely fantastic experience to stay there. Ask for cabin 15.

Review 21:Internet connection was pretty weak in our cabin but I went to the reception area for the little but I needed and it was fine.

Review 22:Loved the location with beautiful view of the fjord and close proximity to multiple hikes. Also enjoyed a fabulous dinner at a property a short hike up hill.

Review 23:There are many walks starting from this higher location, we especially enjoyed the one to Storseterfossen. It was nice to hear the tinkling of bells from the animals grazing below and nice of Anne to pick us up from the ferry port.

Review 24:I didn't expect the owner to pick us up, thought we need to walk 40 min from Hotel Union (where the bus drops us off). But after walking a few min, the owner came to pick us up (she saw us walking from her window) which was really nice of her. The place is also close to a few hiking routes, every cabin gets a very nice view towards the fjord.
