Reviews for 't Geheim van de Molenaer
Review 1:We enjoyed very very much our stay in the place. The host is very warm and kind and the tour he gave us in his mill was great! The room is very very clean and the breakfast was exceptional! It was amazing to have the view of the river from one window and the old mill from the other one...
Review 2:The owners made us so welcome, with tea and coffee by the river on arrival. The facilities were faultless, the breakfast amazing and we were shown around the mill. A definite must to visit.
Review 3:You have to be very careful not to bump your head against the slanted ceiling in the loft-bedroom One used (blue) towel was left in the bathroom and not removed
Review 4:Everything else, especially the great hospitality
Review 5:One large bed rather than two separate beds would have been preferable.
Review 6:The breakfast was memorable and included homemade bread, eggs from the owners' own hens, and a wide assortment of tasty items . The unique location along the river and next to the old mill is ideal. Great views from the room. Ernst and Janneke are gracious and welcoming hosts. We rented bicycles, and they were in good condition and worked well. Ernst suggested a bike route that we enjoyed a lot,
Review 7:The bathroom was spotless and the sheets had a fresh clean smell. Our hosts were exceptionally friendly. Long walk, but walking distance to town. Lovely breakfast with great morning view.
Review 8:Nothing whatsoever
Review 9:Beautiful view over the IJssel river, and on the neighboring windmill. In walking distance to the nice and historical city center of Kampen. Very hospitable, pleasant and knowledgeable family. Opulent breakfast with many homemade products
Review 10:it does not get better then this in my opinion.
Review 11:the hosts were very friendly and helpfull. The place itself is just very charming. And the view from the room is magnificent. We were there in winter. Would love to come back in summer. Breakfast was also very nice in lovely room.
Review 12:They accept cash only payment, it would be more convenient if they accepted cards.
Review 13:The rooms are well equipped and there is much attention to detail. Lovely river views. They serve very good breakfasts.
Review 14:Be aware that the staircase up to the rooms is steep so it can be a problem if you have large cases. A small negative.
Review 15:Because we had been staying in hotels for around 3 weeks we decided to stay in this B&B. What a great decision. We were greeted on check-in with a refreshing cup of tea in our delightful loft room. From this room we looked out over the river with barges gliding past. For breakfast in the morning we ate bread made from flour produced at the historic windmill on the property. It was a delicious breakfast with plenty of variety. We ate at 2 of the restaurants recommended by our hosts and both were excellent in terms of food quality and value. This place is a great place to stay if you want to go to the Weeriben Park - about 20 minutes by car. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
Review 16:Our hosts were very helpful and hospitable and really went out of their way to make everything an experience for us. Breakfast was truly wonderful, bread baked from flour milled at the 1840 mill next door, homegrown eggs, selection of fresh fruits, cheese, yoghurt, etc etc. A very warm welcome when we arrived and a lovely sendoff when we left.
Review 17:It is such a beautiful house with an amazing view. We loved our stay there. Breakfast was also mindblowing good!

Review 21:Awesome B & B. Most delicious breakfast. Very friendly couple. They went out of their way to make us feel at home.
Review 22:Nothing. We would highly recommend this guesthouse.
Review 23:This guesthouse is a delightful place to stay. Our two-room suite was large and comfortable; the owners were very anxious to please; the location overlooking the river and with a windmill in the yard is picturesque and peaceful; the breakfast selection was large and varied.
Review 24:We hot a very warm welcome from the owner and his wife. Delicious breakfast with view on the river IJssel was served with self-baked bread and eggs from their own chicken! A beautifull place to stay at!
Review 25:What a gem! This beautiful guesthouse (complete with windmill in the garden) stands on the banks of the river IJssel and is within walking distance of the beautiful old town of Kampen. We were made to feel totally at home by the extremely friendly owners. The room was stylishly decorated and had all of the facilities that one would expect of a more expensive hotel. Breakfast was an amazing spread including homemade bread, baked from flour which was ground in the windmill in the grounds and fresh eggs from the resident chickens! A lovely experience altogether.
