Review 1：If driving, be careful of a very narrow/difficult turn to get to the hotel (best to park on the main street and walk; you'll have to park there anyway). No one at the hotel seemed to know much about what was happening in the town or be able to recommend places to eat.

Review 3：Reception staff: the lady was extremely helpful and pleasant. A man on the desk seemed to pride himself on being rude. Room: On the booking.com web site, I booked a view room, but got a view of a wall. The man at reception explained that if I went out, I would have a view of the city. I felt this was a misrepresentation of the booking I made.

Review 4：Location: very close to the beautiful main square in Evora and other tourist sites. Clean, comfortable room. Breakfast basic but good.

Outlook was on to a central courtyard (unspectacular) and limited (7) hotel car parks are provided for a fee on street around the corner from the entrance. Good breakfast.

Review 18：We were dismayed - for reasons of public health - to see that the hotel allowed pets in the rooms. A yapping dog that then woke a baby that then cried for a couple of hours was not conducive to a good night's sleep on our floor. Also - another health issue - there was no natural ventilation in the rooms as windows were sealed. This plus the only bed linen being a quilt, meant nights were uncomfortable.

Review 22：I had asked for twin beds, but we were given a small uncomfortable double bed in a small cramped bedroom with a squashy bathroom. The front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful, always behaving like they have no time to talk to us and being very abrupt in their manner of speaking. It was not a very pleasant stay, and I won't ever book a Best Western hotel again..
