Hotel Flora is located on the banks of Lago Maggiore, s 10 minute walk from central Stresa. It features views over the Borromee islands, free parking, a pool and a fitness center.
The Flora’s soundproofed rooms all have balconies, most overlooking the Borromee islands, and include satellite TV, air conditioning and private bathroom. Some rooms include a hydromassage shower and all have minibar and Wi-Fi internet access.
The hotel includes a poolside bar and 2 restaurants, one of which is in the hotel garden for summer dining. There is also a small fitness center and a 24-hour reception.
The Flora Hotel is 350 feet from the pier for boat trips to the islands. Cable car trips to Mottarone also depart from Stresa and Malpensa Airport is a 50 minute drive from the hotel.

Review 1：We were recommended to Hotel Flora by friends and it certainly lived up to everything they told us. Great position close to lake with great views from our room on the top floor. Lovely room with a balcony on two sides of the room. Food great. Main meal and breakfast.

Review 2：Evening meal at a special discount, don't have it. Make an effort to walk into town for authentic fayre. Bed a little bit hard.

Review 5：3rd time at this hotel over the last 8 year's and its still the same standard. We asked for a room overlooking the lake as we had previous and was lucky to get the same room. This is a family run hotel, very quiet at night, ok its up a hill but well worth staying. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times which was very good.

Review 12：Nice big balcony looking on to the lake and the islands. Meals were good value 20 euros for four course and a variety each night Credit cards are taken if you are a independent traveller and not with a tour company.

All the staff were most helpful and very friendly a good place to stay.Always prompt with requests. Nice to have an area where one could come back during the day and have coffee or food, and to be able to bring friends

Review 15：We arrived very early, but as our room was ready it was no problem for us to have it straight away. The hotel has a nice pool and our third floor room looked towards the lake.

Review 49：This was a very friendly hotel. We had an excellent room on 3rd floor with fantastic views over the lake and islands. Lovely pool that was maintained immaculately. Convenient for cable car ,boats to islands and the station but a good 15min walk to centre of Stresa , albeit a very pleasant one along the lakeside. Fortunately hotel restaurant was very good, as was the breakfast.

Review 50：Plenty of parking and a large elevator. Location just 5 minutes from the boat docks and about a 20 minute stroll along the promenade to the city center of Stresa. Rooms were very large, clean and huge bathroom.

Best location to visit stresa and it's surroundings, a 5 minutes walk to the fairy which travels to the three boromes islands, and the funiva motarone funicular is 50 meters from the fairy.

Review 53：First evening stayed at the hotel for an evening meal. Food was OK but basic - only coast 15.00 euro for 4 couses so can't complain too much.
