Reviews for Address Nozawa

Review 1:Wifi was patchy; iPod dock only works with iPhone 4 and does not come with an adaptor; Apple TV didn't work until technician came to fix it. And, gotta cook breakfast yourself! Though, the ingredients provided are nice. All the basic essentials are great but we paid more to stay here for the extra trimmings that didn't work, so felt it was a bit overrated and overpriced in the end.

Review 2:Great location, comfortable, clean and modern. Nice and quiet onsen in the basement. Staff were very friendly and helpful when they are there, but half the time there isn't anyone around, just a sign at the reception desk with an emergency number to call.

Review 3:nothing

Review 4:big room with well equipped kitchen and a dining area. very comfortable bedding, room equipped with aircons and heater. good location, great service.

Review 5:We stayed during October ( low season ) and it was just what we needed to recharge our batteries absolutely beautiful place just to wander, staff of Address were exceptional, everyone in the village was friendly if we were ever in Japan we would certainly stay here.

Review 6:Nothing - it was great.

Review 7:The Address Nozawa apartments are fabulous if you are looking for self catering, western style, accommodation. My family of five, with children aged 9, 11 and 12, loved this accommodation because they had unlimited wi-fi, internet TV in English, a small-ish onsen in the basement and a self catering western breakfast of toast, eggs, bacon/ham, juice and coffee. My husband and I really appreciated the nespresso coffee maker and the super comfortable beds with what felt like new linen and doonas (duvets for non-Australians).

Review 8:Had a really enjoyable stay. Very comfortable spacious room (we stayed in the studio suite) and well equipped. The staff were wonderful and really sincere. If there were any problems or requests, they rectified and handled it quickly.

Review 9:Though I didn't cook much because I was travelling solo, the kitchen would be great with some friends/family. It had everything you'd need from rice cooker to wine glasses and vibrant decor.

Review 10:Difficult to find. Spent about 40 minutes trying to locate! It is right next to the Pizza de Pasta place if anyone else has issues.

Review 11:Clean, spacious, great in hotel onsen.

Review 12:My only complaints would be that the beds were hard, and the hotel was not responsive to a couple questions I had emailed before arriving. The hotel's onsen is unimpressive…but no big deal since there are plenty more around town.

Review 13:Loved the modern design in the rooms and the utility of the kitchenette. Our studio was just the right size for me, my husband, and our 1.5-year-old. We were able to put the twin beds together and push them up against the couch, where our toddler slept comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with eggs, yogurt, milk, juice, and toast/jam for breakfast, and we enjoyed making espresso with the Nespresso machine. We took our son to the play room downstairs while waiting for check-in time and parked in the hotel's garage just up the road so my husband could drop his snowboard there on his way down from the slope.

Review 14:Nothing really. The only adverse comment would be the onsen was too hot, but then we are not Japanese.

Review 15:Pretty much everything about the place was great. Staff were very helpful and their English skills were way better than our minimal Japanese. Very comfortable and ideally placed in the centre of town.

Review 16:Only thing was that we couldn't get any English TV. Couldn't get the Apple TV to work but wasn't a huge drama.

Review 17:Fantastic stay. We loved Nozawa and will definately return. Location to the Main Street was fantastic.

Review 18:Nothing

Review 19:Room are spacious & clean, nearby to all the facilities

Review 20:I like the hotel room, spacious, clean and homely. It was great that we were able to cook for our own meal.

Review 21:Good location. Spacious room. Kids loved the playroom and the Apple TV.

Review 22:Not enough eggs or butter, beds are hard.

Review 23:The size of the apartment, friendly staff, great location, breakfast, free jam!

Review 24:the quality of the rooms, the location in Nozawa, the self catering facility and the comfy bed.

Review 25:Way to Ropeway: a bit too long with ski boots and carrying ski gear.

Review 26:Modern apartment in center of Nozawa.

Review 27:The only downside is the cost.

Review 28:Fabulous all rounder.

Review 29:nothing much!

Review 30:Size of room

Review 31:Very comfortable, quiet, clean apartment with excellent location closeby to main street and access to restaurants and shops.

Review 32:A minor point: The vinyl on the floor in the corridors and on the stairs does not fit with rest of the establishment. Carpet would be more welcoming!

Review 33:The apartments are right in the centre of town and the restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. The studio apartment we had was spacious by Japanese standards. It had a nice modern feel without loosing all of its old-worldly charm. I would be happy to go back there if we get the chance!

Review 34:Loved the breakfast setup. The room had a small kitchen, and the hotel leaves you eggs, ham, apples, yogurt, milk, orange juice, toast and jam for each day of your stay.

Review 35:Iron issues.... they need to upgrade as I tried two and they from the 1970s...

Review 36:onsen, ability to cook my own meals, close to ever thing and helpful staff

Review 37:When I press the room for 2 persons online but ultimately it only show 1guest in the confirmation email. When my wife and I were there, we arerequired to add an amount for an extra guest. Luckily it is a smallamount of cost. Besides, the location shows in the map online isdifferent from the actual one.

Review 38:I like the friendly attitude and service from the staff. Its neat andstylish room design let me like staying at a boutique hotel.

Review 39:Hmmmm - we loved it all! Their attention to detail was wonderful from soap in the bathroom to fluffy robes to relax in. No complaints.

Review 40:Customer Service was excellent. Staff spoke excellent English and communication by e-mail was very prompt, friendly and helpful. Rooms are a beautiful mix of traditional Japanese and modern retro, with huge fluffy doonas on the bed. Free onsen bathing kit provided with lovely onsen in-house. Additional breakfast foods were happily provided when requested. Kids loved the warm bidet! Location is excellent - right in town.
