Review 1：Very small sign to indicate hotel. Staff completely untrained, and seemed bewildered, when ask any questions. Hotel looks like its going to be sold soon. All decorations removed from public rooms, torn and dirty umbrellas, very visible in the courtyard. Had requested sea view room in May (before Oct visit) Not possible. because of group. Never saw a group..

Review 2：Location, location , location. Could enjoy scenery of the harbor, and the many restaurants.

Review 6：Wonderful old Convent in an superb position on the quayside. Quiet and yet evocative of the history of the town and area. Breakfast was good the courtyard and lounge areas superb for relaxing, and large bedrooms with all conveniences.

Review 9：Fabulous setting right at the harbour in Trani with a "picture postcard" view of harbour. Friendly helpful staff , comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. You can walk out of hotel and step straight into a variety of bars and restaurants. That said I think even a limited bar service in the hotel would be an asset as the building itself is very beautiful

Very,very spacious room. Free parking just by the hotel. Lots of lovely places to eat, have a drink, coffee or ice-cream also just by it.

Review 12：Room needed cleaning with a vacuum which had an empty bag! Staff were surly. Air conditioning control was broken so unable to change settings. Safe was locked when we arrived, duty staff rectified it.

Review 22：We stayed at the Hotel San Paolo al Convento for one night while touring Italy. The hotel was easy to find, with free car parking right outside the hotel. We had a very large spacious room overlooking the harbour. We were there on a Friday night and the locality was jumping ! The locals seem to walk this part of the harbour foreshore all night. Yes it was a bit noisy, but nothing that ear plugs can't fix. And when in Trani, do as the locals do ! Good breakfast in the old nun's chapel. I'd recommend this hotel for a good place to stay right where the restaurants and harbour activities are. Stayed September 2014, travelled as a couple

Review 24：We had a huge room with huge balcony. The staff let us keep our bikes overnight inside the building. Breakfast was excellent and served in the former chapel. The hotel was full of character and in a perfect location overlooking the harbour. We loved Trani and would definitely return to this hotel.

Review 53：We stayed at the Convento 3 nights. It has a great atmosphere and isvery convenient for Trani with large public gardens next door andoverlooking the sea and harbour. We were given a large room with a seaview and the initial impact was excellent. The reception staff were verygood and helpful. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice and theservice superb. Car parking is either on the road outside or in thesquare and this was not a problem for us even though the festival wasstarting the week we were there. Evenings on the harbour are very busyso do not return to the hotel too late as car parking could be aproblem. But read on.
