Review 1：The place is very comfortable and ready to help in case of unexpected compilcations. We had trouble with our rented car and the personnel helped us with all they could to ease our situation.
Review 2：It was a great simple apartment really close to Tonel beach and a short walk to the grocery store. Quiet and peaceful. We appreciated the hallway separating the bedroom from the common area for additional privacy. Kitchen had enough items to cook and make meals with.
Review 3：It's great location, very close to Tonel beach, walk distance to the "centre" of Sagres. I really appreciate the stuff, who were really helpfull and nice. They are at the moment building the swimming pool there, so great place to stay there next year! Recommended.

Review 6：These apartments are not in the centre of town, which might bother some people, though still an easy stagger after a few of the local Sagres beers. Sagres was pretty windy whilst I was there, which is fairly normal, which might be good for surfing, but perhaps not so good when lying on the beach.
Review 7：Spacious comfortable apartment, well equipped kitchen, my room faced west and some lovely sunsets from up there. Helpful friendly staff. Very close to lovely sandy beach. Good restaurants within easy walking distance. Very quiet location, so I had some lovely sleeps. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Sagres. Very relaxing.
Review 8：We paid more money for a sea view and we could only see it above some roof tops over a dusty car park and the building of a small pool. The upper apartments overlooking the garden have a far nicer view of the sea as well as the garden and were cheaper. The bed was like concrete.
Review 9：The staff were very helpful and prompt when asked to provide any items. It really is only fifty yards to the entrance to Tonnel beach and allowed a quick assessment of surf conditions in the morning. The shower was broken and rickety but the place was spottlessly clean.
Review 10：Promised wifi didn't work. No cloths/liquid to wash up. We had travelled from NZ so don't bring all that stuff for two night stay. Bathroom old - had to hand hold shower. Bit expensive for what we got. Pool under construction.

Review 13：First things first....we arrived late into Sagres, after the office closed. They had a typed note taped to the door with instructions to our room. The room was spacious, clean, and all around fantastic. We were on the 2nd floor so had a great breeze throughout the apartment. There was plenty of room for the three of us to live comfortably. The apartments were close to everything: the beach, shops, restaurants. The location was amazing!
Review 14：Advertised as near the beach, it is still 5-10 minutes away, but otherwise it's a decent place. We were there at the end of May and it was very very windy, but this would not be their fault.

Review 17：In apartment 129, the bathroom was off the bedroom, and there was no ventilation or window! I don't think that this would be allowed in many countries. Also, a lack of kitchenette area was disappointing.
Review 18：On arrival there was a bottle of wine in the spotless kitchen, the apartments are really well equppied, lovely sun deck too. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

Review 21：The only problem was that there were workers repairing our room's facade and the noise was unbearable. Once we spoke to the recepcionist, they stop working in that facade.

We went in low season (November) and the price through booking was great: 20€ per room, with bathroom inside. Very simple room, not old, not new, but clean. It isn't a wonderfut place, but taking into account the price we paid, the quality-price ratio was great.

Review 25：wifi was working only at terrace , not inside of the apartment. Too many insects (flies) so you cannot keep doors open for too long . Neighbor's dogs pooped all over the yard and seems there are no rules for the pet owners to clean after their pets themselves

With springs, I could not sleep! Needs an update! Also need to do something about the noise, maybe a double glass in the bedroom would help very much! The view from our block was not the best,... on the parking lot. Maybe also an effort to clean that up a bit.(more plants,...) There was a little problem with a smell that came out of the sink, easily fixable. Also the blanket in the closet, the smell was very dusty.
Review 30：Location: Good, near the beach and town (2 minutes walk to the beach) Staff: Friendly when we arrived and left. Facilities: It was very clean. Comfort: Everything was there in the kitchen, you had a good sized living-room with furniture for outside, bathroom with big shower and good sized bedroom. It would be a very good value for money if it was a bit more updated and a better mattress. It was nice that there was parking.

Review 88：We are 2 mature couples travelling together and we stayed in Apartment 103 of the Tonel Apartamentos Turisticos, Sagres. Even though the maids were in the room cleaning for some 20-30 minutes after we were taken to our room, the sheets, covers, blankets, towels were all in poor/soiled condition and the floors were quite filthy. On entering the apartment an awful stench became immediately apparent, and as our stay progressed, the stench – sewerage – became progressively worse, to the point where it became unbearable and we were glad to leave. We were also very concerned as when we showered the water took some time to drain so that we were basically standing in a pool of water obviously connected to the sewer – on our last morning, we simply gather our belongings without using the facilities and waited for the reception to open so we could return the keys and leave as fast as possibly. The only words I/we can honestly and fairly use to describe the Tonel Apartamentos Turisticos in Sagres are - “HEALTH HAZARD”. How it got three stars, and what it signifies is a mystery to me. Via various travel forums available, I consider it my responsibility to warn anyone travelling to Sagres, Portugal to keep away from this apartment complex for the reasons outlined above. On a separate but related issue, Bookings.com has a valued and good reputation amongst my family and friends and to maintain your well-earned credibility, I seriously advise you dis-associate yourself from Tonel Apartamentos Turisticos, Sagres, at least until it is proven that they have taken all the measures necessary to ensure their clients are both comfortable and safe and in a clean environment.

Review 93：Lots of additional extras need to be considered when booking which seem a little silly to be honest. E.g. you have to pay €2 per day for the lock for security box! Plus no provision for basic things like dishcloth or salt, oil, etc.
