Reviews for Hotel Toyokan

Review 1:Had booked Japanese (tatamis + futons) but got semi-Japanese (occidental beds + Japanese living room) - did not argue to save time and effort - only a minor inconsequential incident

Review 2:Location, meals (supper was banquet-like, breakfast - Japanese - was delicicious), onsen in the hotel, yakutas and amenities provided, comfort of room, size of room (about 40 sq.m - possibly an upgrade), friendliness of personnel

Review 3:We were trapped by the typhoon on 13Oct,14 and the scedule was interrupted. The staff at the reception lobby was very helpful to book the ferry trip for us next day.

Review 4:the general condition of the hotel: probably too big to be maintained, walls suffering from moisture. The hot baths look poorly. Wifi in the lobby only.

Review 5:Traditional breakfast and large room

Review 6:hotel restaurants and lounges/cafes were not open

Review 7:communal japanese baths

Review 8:Onsen Helpful staff

Review 9:Less than a 5 minute walk from the bus stop. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel before our check in time and the hotel staff provided us with a useful map in English of the area. Two different hot spring baths available, one on the roof and one in the basement. Both were great. The dinner and breakfast included were also good, probably a good idea to have them included as not many other places available to eat in the local area.
