Reviews for Hotel Las Palomas
Review 1:Nothing!
Review 2:Location is really good! Close to OXXO. Wifi works good when you're close to the reception. And everyday cleaning and new towels and soap! We really recommend this place.
Review 3:These were not deal breakers for me but the bed was on the firm side which is rather common for budget hotels in Mexico. The stairs were not fun to carry luggage but that is the nature of the city's construction. The big problem for me was that the internet was difficult to connect to with out going outside. This was a deal breaker for me.
Review 4:Location was good. Staff was good and the room was clean
Review 5:Quite noisy, being located on the main road.
Review 6:Located close to the bus station (250-300 meters - 5 minutes walk), and at the foot of the old town. Enthusiastic staff.
Review 7:I don´t hasitate to say this was on of the best places we stayed so far in Mexico and also one of the cheapest(we go low budget). Awesome lady on Reception spoke just a little bit of English but she was able to provide all useful informations about places to go around Taxco(if you hablas at least pocito Espanol). This city is beautiful. Clean and living. Tasty and variety food. Cheap prices. Nice people. Nightlife starts around 9pm.
Review 8:Very friendly staff even gave me a map of the town. Perfect location
Review 9:Nothing
Review 10:15 minute walk from the bus terminal. Short but steep hike up to the centre.
Review 11:A hotel on the main road could also cause some annoyance. There is a lot of traffic and almost all the taxis are old beatles = noisy. Fortunately, after 22.00 all becomes nice and quiet. So if you are not planning on sleeping before 22.00 you will be fine. Traffic starts again at about 8.00. Be aware that the personnel speaks only Spanish.
Review 12:Room was small but big enough for a double bed and our backpacks on the floor. Bathroom was a good size and everything looked tidy and clean. Easy to find as it was situated on the main road. Easy to catch a cab to the Zocalo (main square). If you dont mind walking up a "mountain", the Zocalo is 10-15 minutes away. Watch out for the racing beatle taxis!
Review 13:Could be noisy if room is close to the road luke warm water
Review 14:Staff they try hard to please you
