Reviews for Siesta Park Holiday Resort
Review 1:We loved the location and the playground facilities were amazing. The accommodation was very private and each place on the property had its own car park. We loved the way the property had been designed with accommodation nestled in amongst trees. The kitchen was equipped with enough quality utensils to make self-catering enjoyable. The only thing I would like to have changed, is an increase in the number of coat hangers supplied. To really unwind on a week's holiday, I always like to hang up more clothing items, so that I can completely unpack the bags and unfold items. There was plenty of shelf space for clothes not requiring hanging though. The accommodation was in an excellent location. We had a wonderful time walking along the beach, playing in the playgrounds and doing daytrips to Busselton, Dunsborough and the Margaret River region.
Review 2:There was a bad smell in our room and it had a very sterile feel about it. Very dated 1980s . Too much exposed brick.
Review 3:It was very clean and kitchen was a good size
Review 4:The bedding could be improved. The pillows were like rocks
Review 5:Great location, set up and perfect for what we wanted - somewhere to base ourselves while we explored Busselton, Dunsborough and Margaret River.
Review 6:The flying fox, private beach, private jetty, row boat use, BBQ facilities, kitchen facilities in our room, very spacious room, very relaxed feel to the resort. Absolutely LOVED staying here!! Would definitely stay again!!
Review 7:The seating in the lounge was not comfortable
Review 8:The ambience (large windows and peppermint trees) and privacy personalised the setting. The spaciousness of the interior of the villa.
Review 9:It wa hard with one loo between 7 but apart from that we have no reason to moan, and we coped.
Review 10:The surroundings are lovely and provide a safe environment for kids. We liked the Bbq being ours rather than having to share. We loved sitting on the jetty in the evening with the grandies.
Review 11:Wood fired BBQ's were a bit tricky. Maybe cover the wood so it's not wet when trying to light it
Review 12:Playground is great for all age kids. Reasonably priced basic accomodation. Nice and open. Right on the beach. Would come again.
Review 13:A bit chilly down stairs oil heaters didn't really cut it but up stairs heater was great and there were plenty of blankets for the beds! Could do with a clock upstairs.
Review 14:Relaxed and comfortable. Right on the beach great, great for the kids ,lots of freedom and outdoor activities, flying fox was a hit! Loved the private wood fired bar b q!
Review 15:The 3 bedrooms were very cold and there was only 1 very small oil heater for the whole of the downstairs area. When I asked owner if we could have another heater I was rudely told no. Only 1 bed had an electric blanket on it so I asked for 2 more as we were all so cold and they were left in the room in a box I asked the owner why the beds couldn't have been made up and this resulted in the owner being even more ruder and us leaving a day earlier. There was no coffee, tea or sugar sachets and you are also expected to wash and dry your own towels. So freezing downstairs in winter and it would be so hot in summer as there are no airconditioning anywhere in the house.
Review 16:The beds were so hard, it was really difficult to get to sleep, and stay asleep
Review 17:The staff where lovely, the location was wonderful! Right on the beach and it was so quiet.. Lovely for a daughter and mum travelling.
Review 18:Really cold villa Would like oven and more burners Need electric blanket on single beds as well and more floor coverings for winter
Review 19:Location Playground Trees Wood bbq
Review 20:Cold....but it was winter after all!
Review 21:Right on the beach front with loads of activites for the kids. Facilities were excellent and location was cental for all destinations in the area. Definately stay here again. A++
Review 22:Windows still open at 10pm when informed we would arrive late. 5 degrees outside and insufficient heating indoors for winter and lots of tiled floors.
Review 23:Quite far away from Busselton Jetty. Wasn't overly impressed with the note from Management asking us to take out the trash and wash the floor on leaving !! It wasn't the cheapest accommodation and - was this meant to be a working holiday ??
Review 24:The chalet was right on the beach, location wise it was awesome. The chalet was clean and tidy and came with everything that you needed. Large living areas with plenty of room.
Review 25:beds were bit hard, pillows not supportive, wifi password not provided so didn't use it... another soft chair in lounge as not enough for four adults.
Review 26:space outside unit, access to beach, space inside, separate shower, basin and toilet. Good seating in lounge.
Review 27:I was really happy that when I realised my Autisic child had left his much beloved box of toys hidden under the lounge the owners organised for some to drop the off for me. Couldn't ask for nicer people.
Review 28:Furniture is very old. No soap or shampoo provided. Very basic facilities for $291/night.
Review 29:Paid $582 for 2 nights, which is too expensive for what was offered. low. Will try some other hotel next time.
Review 30:Not easy to locate as signboard was not prominent and hidden by the Gull petrol station.
Review 31:The kitchen was well-equipped with sufficient plates and bowls.
Review 32:Furniture uncomfortable. No oven. Barest minimum of cleaning supplies. Space heater a big concern (gas fueled and no exhaust for fumes, which went into the room). Minimal conveniences. This is a 1 Star hotel (not a 3 star hotel as advertised) and that is being generous.
Review 33:spacious enough. Family-run hotel, so staff were friendly enough.
Review 34:We stayed in a three bedroom loft villa which had excellent facilities and equipment and it was only ninety metres from a beautiful beach and a private fishing jetty. The varieties of fish and wildlife are fabulous including a dolphin which swam right in front of us on the jetty. The fishing is excellent and there are adventure playground facilities for the children. There is a bar-b-q / hotplate outside every property and a never ending supply of hardwood chunks which burned like a furnace. The nearby towns of Busselton and Dunsborough are well worth a visit, as is Yallingup and Margaret's River.
Review 35:Loved everything, no complaints whatsoever!
Review 36:This was our first family holiday and it was absolutely perfect thanks mainly to the amazing Siesta Park accommodation! With 2 kids under 2 it was so great to have so much open space, incredible playgrounds and all within just metres of a very safe beach! The owners and all the staff were so friendly and very helpful and made us feel at home! We loved our time at Siesta Park and hope that we will be back one day!
Review 37:Too far away from where live to stay each year!
Review 38:Spotlessly clean, a place all you need for a relaxing beach side holiday of Australia 40 years ago when life was so simple with so much less public violence & community service was the norm!
Review 39:Play parks need to be updated and made a bit safer. A clearer sign out front bedited the garage would be good
Review 40:very clean villas with comfy beds. great location just a short drive to towns and tourist sites. Lovely to have the free wood for the BBQ.
Review 41:The location of some items in the villa. Not ideal for children under 3 years that are into everything.
Review 42:We liked the location as we did a little site seeing towards maraget river and busselton.
Review 43:The only thing was the double bed was not very comfortable.
Review 44:The location was brilliant. We travelled with a 6yr old and a 10yr old and they were happy to keep themselves entertained with the play equipment. We would definitely stay again.
Review 45:I would suggest to hide bikes and other sport stuff like tennis rackets and kayaks.
Review 46:Affordable price facilities and beach handy Good customer service
Review 47:The only thing we found disappointing was there was no cafe/restaurant on site. There is a service station come road house, but it would have been nicer to have a place to go for dinner
Review 48:The locality was excellent, extreemly quiet and enjoyable It was very handy to Busselton, Dunsborough and Margaret River. Thank you to all the staff.
Review 49:There was a fair bit of traffic noise in the evenings. The kitchen knives were so blunt that I could hardly cut an onion.
Review 50:It was a nice location near the beach.
Review 51:Gas BBQ's would be nice. Wet wood made lighting the BBQ difficult (and smoky) but the kids did enjoy toasting the marshmallows so they'd probably say it was a +!
Review 52:Very clean and comfortable chalets. Wonderful grounds right on the beach. The flying fox and Tarzan swing were an absolute highlight for the boys. We had a very relaxing stay.
Review 53:was bit too freezing though, not enough warmer in the house for every one, would be nice if there are some portable warmer that we can bring around the house
Review 54:Price and environment
Review 55:In the loft the gas heater did not provide sufficient heating and there was a strong gas smell while in use
Review 56:Close to the beach, though being winter we did not swim. 3 separate rooms was ideal for family with older children
Review 57:The couches. When the weather was wet, we hadn't much choice but to stay indoors. It was difficult to get comfortable and relax in our house. This led us to becoming agitated with each other. If we had slightly bigger and newer couches, we may have been more relaxed.
Review 58:The choice of activities for the kids. Even in Winter. They loved the flying fox, lighting the bbq & roasting marshmallows, playing tennis & meeting new kids around the property.
Review 59:everything was ok
