Reviews for Hotel Riad Dalia Tetouan

Review 1:Nothing.

Review 2:I had a fabulous stay! I called the Riad, they came to meet me at Cinema Espagnol, which was of great help as it can be very difficult to find. Have their contact phone nr with you! The overall experience was great. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The restaurant food was great. Abdul took me around, which was of great help and showed me around. The room was great. The terrace has a great view of the city. Hot shower. I had a wonderful experience and stay. Thank you to all the staff, the owner, Abdul, the reception lady, and lady in the kitchen you were all great.. Shukran and Merci

Review 3:The staff were great and welcoming and greeted us at 2am as we were travelling. They went out of their way to provide us with everything we needed. I would stay here again. breakfast was awesome. The Riad is in the heart of the old Madina and I would recommend others to stay here also and it's absolutely beautiful. It has great character. Locals are very welcoming.

Review 4:The room was comfortable and clean. The staff very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very good with daily variation. A very good choice in a great location.

Review 5:We stayed one night in economic room and one in standard double room - both more than worth their price. Beautiful house and rooms, good food in the restaurant, staff are really friendly an speak french, spanish, english, german...and are happy to help you with everything. Top place!

Review 6:The hotel is hidden in the old medina, which is a wild and crazy place especially just arriving in Tetuan. Apart from that, nothing happened to us, even more, we really liked strolling around there during our stay, but arriving was a bit difficult. Noteworthy that in the hotel there is always staff available to come pick you up in the city if you don´t feel like having an adventure in the medina labyrinth.

Review 7:Incredibly friendly staff, hospitality, amazing building and views from the terrace, welcome tea, free breakfast. Really an amazing place with amazing people, thank you for everything and we hope to come back soon!

Review 8:Nothing, but write down their phone number beforehand, it might be difficult to find the property for the first time.

Review 9:The attitude of the staff is very amicable and honest, all the facilities you would expect in Europe probably were present - 3 clean towels, toilette paper and soap and towel in WC, hot shower. Breakfast and a wonderful terracce with a view, location of the road and the riad itself is gorgeous. The best we had inthis price range.

Review 10:Our stay at Riad Dalia was just what we were hoping for: a beautiful authentic riad in the center of the Medina, wonderful food, great staff (Abdul was very helpful!), such a great experience! We would highly recommend it

Review 11:A bit dusty in our room but no major issues and the shared shower is a bit temperamental!

Review 12:Friendly and helpful staff, listen to the doorman carefully about touts. Fantastic breakfast. Book a suite if you can.

Review 13:Wifi didn't work well in rooms. Location was a bit hard to find. Clearer directions and a map would've been helpful.

Review 14:Absolutely gorgeous riad with lovely staff in a good location. Great breakfast. Would definitely return.

Review 15:The barking dogs and the calls to prayer were hardly the hotels fault, but every word uttered from the reception area(until way past midnight)transmits to their best rooms with amplifying effect, the commotion onthe steps to the above and below levels will be impossible to ignore, and the Hotels front door entry-bell will have the same effect as an ear-level alarm clock whenever ringed (which will be frequently) so beprepared for the worst night's sleep imagineable.

Review 16:The place was like a palace, we were amazed at the stunning decor ofboth suites (other rooms were very lousy from what we observed....TOPTIP....stay in either of their 2 suites or move on). Wonderful hosts, and lovely food. The absence of either tv, Fridge or Kettle should beviewed as an enhancement of your Arabian Nights Experience, and not animpediment of it.

Review 17:Food at night was overpriced. They did not provide breakfast as it was supposed. WiFi was not working in my room. Toilet had very little pressure so having a shower was difficult and flushing the toilet was a challenge.

Review 18:It was beautiful. Bed very comfy.

Review 19:This is probably not the best accomodation for people who suffer from dust allergies as the antique carpets and curtains seemed a bit dusty. The rooftop terrace offers a great view but could use a little bit of maintenance (new cushions, some paint here and there). It was summer though and way too hot to sit outside anyway so it didnt matter.

Review 20:Very authentic and traditional Morrocan style. I had a room with a shared bathroom which is a nice and cheap alternative to hostels. I also saw the ensuite rooms and they were really nice. Internet worked perfectly! Food in the restaurant is slightly more expensive than in other restaurants (11 euros per person) but delicious!

Review 21:I registered with my credit card but found I had to pay in cash-- this is ok, just be prepared.

Review 22:Beautiful place, as pictured on the website; welcomed with mint tea, helpful multiglot staff, amazing view from the roof, great food in the restaurant. If you stay here, you really need a guide: it is very easy to get lost, and a guide can show you things you would never find otherwise. Be firm about buying things (not buying things) and/or bargain. Fabulous visit!

Review 23:Helpful and kind.

Review 24:The house is a beautifull ancient Moroccan house. Amazing breakfasts! Thankyou very Much for Mohammed to Come and pick me up when I got lost :)

Review 25:Friendly, welcoming staff. Magical riad rooms and foyer. Nice food. Excellent price. Great location.

Review 26:The bathroom

Review 27:Abdul was very welcoming and helpful

Review 28:The location.

Review 29:The staff were so helpful and accomdating.

Review 30:Nice riad and staff was also kind. Quite easy to find in medina. Room was really big and clean.

Review 31:Great location in the medina, delicious breakfast, extremely caring staff, comfy beds and the most amazing view from the balcony.

Review 32:Wifi very slow

Review 33:Window above door had no glass so noisy and no privacy

Review 34:Good location close to palace. Nice rooftop.

Review 35:Everything about the place was marvelous.

Review 36:Absolutely beautiful Riad. Staff were very friendly and spoke English, Arabic, Spanish and French. Stayed in the economy room which was at the top of the building, near the roof. Sitting on the roof at night, surrounded by mountains and pretty white buildings during the call to prayer, was a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again were I to return to Tetouan.

Review 37:The place was beautiful and the dinner was amazing. The staff were extremely welcoming, they are what made this place so special. One of our best stays in Morocco!

Review 38:Superbly located in the medina, this Riad seems to have it all: 18th century charm, authentic zelij tiles, huge 5 meter high rooms that look like as if they make part of an old fairytale palace, ... The interior is timeless, it makes you forget about simply everything! Great value for money, the best you can have in Tetouan.

Review 39:Like most Moroccan Riads, it was quite cold. I was there in February, so 19C during the day but 9C at night. There was no real heating at all, just one gas heater on the ground floor which was like holding a candle and hoping to heat a house. However, all Riads in Morocco seem to be like this, so it's quite standard. I'm a tall person, so my bed was a little short.

Review 40:The Riad is 300 years old and very authentic. It's a beautiful place hidden in the medina. It was very nice to stay there. Breakfast was just gorgeous. They were very polite and welcoming and I would definitely recommend Riad Dalia

Review 41:We loved the character and the amazing hospitality. The family that run the hotel were so friendly and helpful. It makes all other hotels seem bland in comparison!

Review 42:The staff is extremely nice and helpful. You feel at home at the second you open the door. They serve you tea for welcoming you and help you with any question/problem you might have.

Review 43:Medina is a rabbit warren and easy to get lost but part of the charm

Review 44:Family hotel in middle of Medina; very friendly and supportive. Stunning views from terrace.

Review 45:We received e-mail to promise free picking up at Cinema Expanol. However, when we arrived the Cinema Expanol and call the Riad, we were told to get there by ourself. There is no way we can find the Riad by our own. Lucky us, there were two young people who guide and walk with us to the Riad

Review 46:1 - This Riad is not easy to find. However, the owner of the Riad gave us a short tour around to show us how to find our way - back to the Riad. 2 - The next morning, the owner arranged his staff to take us to the CTM bus station

Review 47:Nothing

Review 48:What I liked the most is that it is a real Riad Moroco style incredibly nice, confortable, warmy and beautifull. The food of the restaurant was also incredibly good, home made and good price.

Review 49:Nothing to point. Unless I would like to stay longer.

Review 50:First of all Abdul's hospitality, the best kind. The location the most suitable, at the core of a genuine non-tourist medina. Abdul was also introducing us to the curious story of the beautiful Riad, a recovered, very well taste recovered residence of a Dutch Consul. Beautiful environment and very confortable rooms. I would advise the Riad's cuisine with quite enthusiasm!

Review 51:The building is very unique being the previous residence of a DutchConsul. The nicer rooms are huge, could fit a whole family in there.Bear in mind that this is in the middle of the medina, Therefore you can't get to the front door by cab. I highly recommend you call them when you arrive and get them to come and get you. If you don't have a cell, use one of the many pay phones around. Saves the hassle of every man and their dog coming up to you trying to show you the way in exchange for money. The food here is excellent.

Review 52:My friend and I had a great stay in this hotel. We had a lovely room and were so impressed with the staff. Mohammad was fantastic. He even gave us a walking tour around the city and took us out at night to Marina beach and a night club. The food is really good. Home cooked Moroccan cuisine. We had lunch there, a lovely 3 course meal at a very reasonable price. I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to tetouan. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Review 53:It's a bit hard to find without a map, although there are loads ofguys who are willing to guide you to the hotel for a few dirhams.

Review 54:Super friendly staff! Room & shared bathroom were very clean,Excellent value for money!

Review 55:The twin room on the top floor was in a wet condition, even with the bed linen. I did not find a electric plug in that room for charging my mobile phone or camera.

Review 56:The staff was very friendly and helpful. The decoration of the patio and those rooms in the ground floor were fabulous.

Review 57:A bit hard to find meals close by.

Review 58:The staff were all wonderful: helpful, witty, and informative. Mohamed and Abdul had great ideas for our time there, and Abdul walked us to a few places himself. One highlight was being served tea out in front of the riad one night, and chatting with the other guests and people passing by. Abdul walked us all the way to the Palace and arranged a taxi to the Ceuta border for us on our last day! The riad itself is beautiful and peaceful. The breakfasts were delicious. Wish we were there now!

Review 59:Nothing. A delightful riad located at the heart of Tetouan'sfascinating and authentic (I.E. not commercialised) medina.

Review 60:The friendly and helpful service provided by hosts Mohamed and Abdul. The beautiful atmosphere in the riad, which is the former residence ofthe Dutch consul. The comfortable beds and pillows.

Review 61:no hot water, no soundproofing, no heater in room, furnishings are very dated. Generally not very good value for money

Review 62:central location

Review 63:Staff Amazing property Amazing room Very confortable Good price Good breakfast included

Review 64:I stay in this hotel for one night with my family and all was ok

Review 65:Very Hard to find. No water. Í came late in the evening and the first thing I did was looking after anather hotel. I will never stay there again.

Review 66:The roof terrace needs some tlc.

Review 67:Made to feel very welcome. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff Family run. Amazing rooms

Review 68:It's a beautiful building
