Reviews for Hotel Petri Marini

Review 1:nothing to complain at all

Review 2:Staff extremely helpful and polite; brand new rooms and facilities, wonderful breakfast in the morning, full comfort throughout the stay, walking distance to the beach, price more than acceptable ... if only we could stay a bit more :)

Review 3:None

Review 4:Great hotel for money, quiet place, very good services, breakfast, smiling personal:) Good restaurant and shop near hotel was very helpful.Beach is very closed to tho hotel.

Review 5:We didn't like the pizzeria belonging to the hotel

Review 6:Very friendly and helpful staff Clean room and fresh towels every day Location near the coast Big room and bed Big choice of food during breakfast

Review 7:Hardest bed we've ever slept on! A pool would be a nice addition (even though the beach is so close)

Review 8:Nice hotel in good location with plenty of parking available. Only 2 min walk to lovely beach. Staff very friendly and food in restaurant and breakfast was really good. Great location to base yourself for a quiet break - not great if looking for lots of nightlife. Loads of amazing beaches within 20 min drive (especially Club Paridisio) and main town of St Therese de G only 15 min drive away.

Review 9:Almost everything. It's a pleasant surprise to us. We ordered it at the last minute and didn't expect much. But the room is big, the staff was helpful and it is near to the beach. The breakfast is marvelous! There are all kinds of shops. It's very convenient to live there.

Review 10:This hotel now is like our second home in Sardinia! There are lots of trees and plants that make the whole area green and attractive. It's situated near embarkment with a nice beach and a good restaurant (it has really delicious pizza and sea food) where you can spend your evening. At the same time there is a bar, a restaurant, a small cafe (with good food and not very high prices) and a supermarket right in the territory of Petri Marini. So that, you can find everything you need without going out. Well, talking about included services... Breakfast really surprised us, we didn't expect that it could be that many varieties of food (sometimes it wasn't easy to decide what we wanted to eat :D). Every day our room was cleaned, it was a great pleasure to come back and feel its freshness. Of course, special 'thanks' to wonderful women from reception! You've made our vacation easier and helped a lot. We are really grateful for hospitality of this place and everything that its staff's done for us.

Review 11:Very good breakfast

Review 12:Friendly and helpful personnel, just few minutes to the nice sand beach

Review 13:This was a pretty disappointing stay - in fact, we left after one night having paid for two. The overbearing owner was good at making us feel we were to blame for not making the aircon work and for not enjoying the meal. The centralised AC was clearly broken, which meant leaving the window open and then being devoured by mosquitoes in the night. But the half board food ... Authenitic pasta starter boded well, but the second was uneatable and seem processed. Solid tepid meatballs, flaccid cold battered veg. The young waitress brought our dessert with a genuinely solicitous 'I hope we can redeem ourselves with this...' Unfortunately two small squares of leathery pastry encasing custard could not save the day, especially since, when husband attempted to cut into the unrelenting surface, the filling squirted out onto his dark blue linen shirt! Our hostess then literally chased me up to my room to find out why we didn't like our meal in rising tones of anger/despair. Actually, the reason was evident to anyone who likes Italian food, but English reserve and embarrassment meant I couldn't rub her nose in it!! The place is also in a soulless spot next to a campsite in what should be a lovely part of Sardinia.

Review 14:Friendly helpful staff, very clean

Review 15:It is more motel, than hotel, very few guests during our stay, in the evening pizzeria was open but only pizza available (nothing else), and there were no guests, so we went to more lively restaurants near the beach, there are actually only 2 other restaurants and camping, no entertainment in the evening in the whole area (though nearby camping provided some live music for their guests). The breakfast was really disappointing (1 croissant, 1 bread, butter, jam and juice), no buffet, no other choice - when we asked, waiter politely appolgized but said it is manager's decision. The sea was a bit rough, with hidden stones and medusas. Overall not bad for 1 night, but a bit overpriced considering above. There are much much nicer places with beautiful white sandy beaches at Costa Smeralda for longer holidays...)

Review 16:Nice pleasant and very clean hotel, lot of elegant decorations, everything looked new and stylish, very friendly staff (lady manager and waiters very very kind), welcome drink was a pleasant surprise, large rooms with balcony, nice quiet area with forrest around, nice wide sandy beach nearby, fine place for 1 overnight. Facilities for children to play + ping pong, billiard, etc., but did not see anybody to use these, don't know why...

Review 17:beginning of April, windy and rainy being the only guests. sounds from restaurant music reverberate in square between rooms.

Review 18:bright colours, well maintained and new hotel, helpful staff, close to the beach and yet rural, excellent and five course dinners which we pre booked. rainy, but so green and so amny flowers (Easter)

Review 19:Lack of good internet. Mosquitoes in pizzeria. Poor breakfast. No AC in hotel room.

Review 20:Location near the beach. Good pizzeria.
