Review 1：The fact that€ 7,50 a day was asked for a small parking place, and the fact that my room was a put-away at an attick with stage with no reception or personnal; both nights noisy people were banging on doors including mine. Would not go back here.

Review 2：Located at the border of Bergen, which was nice and quiet. The breakfast as rich.

Review 3：The room I got was not the one shown on the website. It was in another building opposite the main hotel with very steep stairs on the 1st floor. If I didn't have the help of a friend, I would have had a hard time getting my luggage up and down these stairs. The room looks old and outdated, needs renovation. It was not worth the money at all, disappointed :(

Review 4：The rooms in the Annex across the road from the main hotel buildingsuffer from very poor sound-proofing. The noises in the night fromguests upstairs left little to the imagination. My sleep was disturbedon both nights of my stay. Also, the wardrobe unit in my room was brokenso that the door would not slide, making it difficult to access myclothes and the safe.

Review 5：Breakfast was first class, a good choice of excellent fare. The locationnear the town centre was very good too, convenient but not busy.

Review 8：- It was untill late in the nigth a lot of noise -The floors are from wood, and make a lot of noise when people on the first floor were walking to the badrooms or toilet. - There was no parking availeble. I need to walk 600 mtr. - rooms were at the other site of the street.

Review 11：Breakfast - excellent - typically Dutch - lovely choice - coffee very good even though it was out of a machine. Shower/toilet room - small but perfectly formed and clean. Beds are fine and clean. Towels are thin but they do absorb water. Staff very well dressed and helpful. Dining room / restaurant very spacious and pleasant. Even books and an area for reading.

Review 12：We did not feel welcomed while checking in. Our 1st room was disgusting, stained carpet, holes in the walls. Even a dirty toilet. 2nd room was doable. Until we tried to sleep. The windows were wide open and the fan was on (Nov) and it was 30c. 3rd room less doable and hotter, 4th room was an apartment. Doable but not worth the cost. Food was okay, staff some were nice some were not. We do not recommend this hotel!

Review 14：Disinterested unhelpful staff. No help with our luggage. Sent to the wrong room by receptionist. Dirty and heavily soiled carpet in bedroom. Very poor quality towels which were not bath size. Sagging mattress. Empty wallet on back of door which should have contained information in case of a fire. Light bulb not working in bathroom. Safe not working. Information stated in literature on desk that there was complimentary bottled water provided in our room but we never received it. We requested a Non smoking room but the building constantly smelled of cigarette smoke from the private apartment on the ground floor. Complete lack of maintenance and thorough cleaning. No social interaction from waiting staff in restaurant at breakfast. Bad customer service.

Review 16：my friend is used to north america where everything is air-conditioned and we came in 33 degree temp with no air so she insisted we leave unfortunately because i loved it with you and was exactly what i had hoped for even in the heat so our stay had to be cut short

Quite small, tattered wall paper, window onto parking lot so with curtains drawn, no air circulation. Very warm and no air conditioning (which is quite common in the NL). Charged E7.50 for parking. Food is fine, not great, and expensive compared to restaurants minutes' walk away.

Review 46：On arrival, we got a much smaller room than booked. After complaining,we were upgraded to what appeared to be a meeting room with beds and animprovised bath room. Which we accepted. Staff commented that we shouldhave called before arrival if we wanted a 'nice' room. Strange.

Review 48：Large and very light rooms. terrace was great as was the shower. Bed extremely comfortable and it was near from my Aunt's 90th birthday party. Bergen is lovely, the last I came was 50 years ago when Opa was still alive. Thank you for a welcome stay and helpful and friendly staff.

Review 49：The room was quite top under the ceiling and there were no chair andwalls were not straight. No place to sit and watch tv. You coudn'tlean against the wall.We had dinner in the restaurant. The staff was busy and in the bill there was some extra items. They took them away immediately but there should be more staff when there are lot of guests.

Review 53：We stayed for one night and when I tried to pay the bill I was asked to pay for breakfasts which were included in the booking.com price. I had to dig out paperwork to prove this. We were also charged for 2 nights for a camp bed Eu25 which should have been for only for one night. The final bill was Eu148 rather than the Eu 203 they were trying to charge. No apology was given for this.

Review 55：The bar closes at 11.00.pm, but we arrived in the bar at 10.30pm andwere refused any coffee, as the machine had been washed for the night.The hotel claim to have 40 car parking plaes, but this seems hard tobelieve. The bedroom 119 was tired with srains on the carpet very fewtoiletries were in use.
