Review 1：The corridors were a bit prison like. The view of the beach was actually of a car park with a glimpse of beach through the trees!

Review 9：location is very good: on the one side you have pretty nice beach, on the other - shopping mall including bars and restaurants, the best bar on the whole island OMG with live music is in front of the hotel. the room is clean, comfortable, there is everything you need in the room. extremely friendly and helpful personnel. they really try to solve your problems if appear. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, if come to Langkawi.

Review 10：If you do not like noise at late at night, then choose a seaview room. The Street view rooms will face the music from live band across the road till past midnight. That's fine(excellent, in fact!) if you are sitting at the balcony drinking beers or champagne.

Review 13：Location is perfect. It is central enough to walk either to the right side and to the left and even to the beach. Beach is at the back of the hotel (3 minute walk) Hotel staff from the reception to the porter services is warm and helpful. We were upgraded to 1 of the 2 suite available without us asking and that made this trip even fancier. I will definitely stay here again when i return to Langkawi even if it is not in the suite.

Review 17：The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Pantai Cenang and at walking distance to countless restaurants, bar, shops (Cenang Mall across the road) and the beach itself. Room is very clean, with a very comfortable bed and great rain shower. Our room faced a popular public square, with lots of facilities (McDonalds, KFC, Starbucks, etc) but also a bar offers happy hour and live music until late at night. It didn't bother us at all, however, in fact it actually added to the overall experience. The hotel staff is fantastic, always very helpful and polite, particularly Bikash, Mugat and their manager. Free breakfast at Old Town White Coffee across the road is basic but with a few great options including different types of coffees and juices as well as kaya toast, eggs, nasi lemak and other dishes. We will definitely stay again at Cenang Plaza next time we are in Langkawi!

Review 18：The sea view rooms are facing the beach but the view are blocked by tall trees so you cannot see the sea. Finding parking was also a bit of a hassle.

Review 29：The "beach view" is a bit of a joke - if you get a room at the back of the hotel (which you should do as the front is very noisy) it overlooks a dusty, busy carpark and large trees all but block the beach view. However this is a minor point and it would not put me off staying next time. Langkawi in general I was less impressed with as it was badly overcrowded when I went near Xmas time... made everything feel frantic rather than relaxed. (This is not the hotel's fault but I don't think I would go back to Langkawi again)

Review 30：Staff - they were amazing. Just so friendly and helpful all the time... best small hotel staff I've ever experienced. Location - right in the middle of Pantai Cenang so everything was super close. The beach is a 1 minute walk. Room - nicely decorated without being fancy. The bed was comfy and everything worked well - though one night there was no hot water which was a little disappointing. The room (and the hotel) was spotlessly clean. Price - expensive for a small hotel but it was Xmas time and I think all of Malaysia was in Langkawi so I'm sure at other times it would be much better value.

(Did feedback to hotel staff for both issues & hoped it'll be rectified) I'll suggest the hotel could provide slippers for guest in the room as the room tends to be a bit sandy.

Convenient for everything. Food, shopping & beach. If you like entertainment, there's live music at night until 12am from the opposite opened pub/restaurant at Cenang Mall. A bit disrupting tho but if you don't mind, it's not an issue. Overall, enjoyed my stay so much. Will come again next time.

Shower didnt work properly. Isolation is pretty bad. Hotel is good for a transit stay. Wifi didnt work at all in my room.

They even tried opening the door..Then we called the room service and they came and locked the door and mentioned that they forgot to lock it after cleaning. :( I hope they take it very seriously as this is a matter of safety

Review 65：We stayed here in Oct 2015 and we enjoyed our stay here. This place is opposite to Cenang Mall, walkable to the beach and other duty free malls. We stayed in a room with the city view and we got to enjoy the live band performing in front of the mall. Very friendly staff and they helped us get a taxi every time we wanted to go out.

They requested for our flight no. so that they can check on their own if our flight gets delayed or cancelled. The bellboys were friendly and helpful too.

The toilet has a little bit sandy and hotel should provide a slipper... In my opinion, the sign of DND/ Make up room is very important for every in-house guest, however I dont find any sign when i stepped into the hotel room. Somehow, the hotel staff told me they did not use it due to it is old sign while escorting me.

Their response is fast as well after i made some complain about malfunction of the water heater. unfortunately, the service is from outside, so we have to take cold bath eventually.

The hotel is opposite to Cenang Mall which it has Guardian, Old Town White Coffee and free duty shop for cigarettes just to name a few. Walking distance to the beach and Telaga Arabic restaurant. As the lift require room key to access, every time i have to request them to access the lift with their key if any one has to go out of the hotel and other has to stay in the room. Besides the car parking was in the oposite chenang mall where again you have to show your room key to get in and get out-- again single key was a problem. I asked for another key but they were unable to provide that. No complementary toothbrush and paste. They provide soap, shampoo, tea, coffee for the first day, then you have to request them to provide those everyday - very unusual policy !!!!!

Review 119：As others have mentioned- no laundry services. This wouldn't be a problem if there were any private laundry services nearby but I did not come across any. The hotel is a little overpriced for what it is but overall satisfied.

Review 129：If you're looking for something quaint and island-like, this won't be for you as it's very much a shop-lot style hotel, and their "beach" rooms are beach-facing, not actually on the beach unlike some other hotels/motels which have chalets right on the beach. But if all you need is a base to return to, it serves it's purpose well.

Review 130：In general the staff were courteous and helpful when we had questions, which is always nice. The location was great, with water sports and great wee beach-side cafes just behind it. It's also just opposite Cenang Mall (which can be good or bad, depending on your preferences) which has a duty-free store, and is within 5-10 minutes walk from the Underwater World. The room was functional for our purposes, clean, big enough for 2 and comfortable.

Review 131：There were a lot of noise from the hallway and the nearby rooms - we could hear what was said both in the hallway when people passed our room, and also from the room that was connected to ours. We also experienced the cleaningstaff cleaning in the hallways late at night - this was also disturbing. I don't know if we were just unlucky with the other guests at the time, but we did expect more soundproof doors and walls in a new hotel. You could also ofcourse hear the music from the bars close to the hotel and and the beachpartys, but this is something one should expect with this location. We were leaving the hotel late in the evening and they did not have any place we could shower before we left after a day at the beach (but there was a public shower close to the beach). And I don't think they offer any breakfast.
