Reviews for Hotel Blanco Riad
Review 1:The hotel can be hard to find as you cannot access the entrance by car as it is in the old part of the city with very narrow lanes, so you need to be on the look out to find or or ask the locals (be careful who you ask, they may use this as an opportunity to sell you something from a brother or a family realitve, as it is close to the markets).
Review 2:The staff were extremely friendly, very professional. The hotel itself was beautiful, with alot of Moroccan architectural influence. The room was very comfortable and clean, Really enjoyed the stay.
Review 3:Because the King was in residence next door, some streets were blocked off for security reasons so getting around was a bit tricky.
Review 4:The owner will do whatever he can to ensure you have a good stay. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with the best linens we found in Morocco, including some 5 star hotels we stayed in. The food served here was delicious. We loved that it was next door to the Imperial Palace.
Review 5:Nothing
Review 6:Very helpful staff. Best food I've tasted in all my visits to morocco.room very well decorated and detailed, powerful shower. Nice shady garden and I've enjoyed the quite with a lovely music on the background.
Review 7:Not a negative but a suggestion for future guests. Unfortunately the map that the management sent me to locate the off premise parking was in some format that I could not open. That led to a significant amout of time spent asking for directions. For some reason that morning our phones were not functioning properly and couldn't contact riad. If you at driving make sure you know where to go for parking.
Review 8:Located just inside the medina 3-5 minutes walk from the royal palace. Parking outside of premises - 5 min walk. 3€ for overnight parking. The staff - Asmaa (spelling?) was extremely helpful in trying to maximize our staying stay in Tetouan. We had dinner at the restaurant - very good in a sofisticated environment at a very reasonable price. The riad itself is beautiful, very clean and quiet - a major plus given the proximity to all the activity outside.
Review 9:We arrived late, after a coach journey from Tangiers the hotel wasn't the easiest to find mainly due to the main road being closed because the royal family were in town. Because of a faulty shower in our room we were upgraded without hesitation to the master suite. The next morning we had a great breakfast and we loved our stay, thanks to the building and all of the superb staff, who couldn't be more polite or helpful. We both highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is interested in staying in Tétouan.
Review 10:Took me 2 hours to find it but they sent out someone to find me and got there in the end!
Review 11:Beautiful hotel, great team, great food
Review 12:My room was missing a bit of natural light
Review 13:Beautifully decorated rooms, very friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere
Review 14:Cosy riad at the medina. Clean and nice. Good and friendly staff and excellent food.
Review 15:First the kindness of the staff that make you feel at home, the location, cleanliness and quietness, even tough it is in the Medina.
Review 16:No complaints!!
Review 17:Beautiful, well-managed riad.
Review 18:The wifi was slow and sometimes unusable in the rooms. Breakfast was basic.
Review 19:Great location.
Review 20:Not that I was particularly bothered but the wifi doesn't workin certain areas in the room. Once you figure that out, it's nota problem.
Review 21:Friendly and accommodating staff. Always willing to go out of their wayto make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Riad was extremely clean andpeaceful. Perfect ambiance for good company and traditional Moroccantea, atay. Loved sitting out in the terrace! Loved everything about it.
Review 22:-included breakfastmenu could have more variety
Review 23:-location right in the city center where you have streetmarkets and various tearooms and restaurants -venue is looks verynice and authentic
Review 24:When we arribed at the hotel, we have been very surprised about the hotel. Clean, quite, confortable, with a very good restaurant and a perfect service and hospitality. The owner, Maribel, has been very nice, helping us by e-mail to prepare all the things that we needed, prior of our arrival. It was a wonderful experience that I recomand to all the people who wants to go to Tetuan!
Review 25:Air Conditioning didn't work in room. They couldn't fix it and we had to move to the other room we had (they added one more bed) * Breakfast was poor. For such a high end Riad, I wonder why they would try to save money on the amount of food they give you on breakfast. * You have to climb very steep steps. Might not be suitable for everyone
Review 26:* Beautiful Riad. * Nicely decorated. * Spacious rooms. * The lady in the reception was amazingly helpful. But she was there only one day.
Review 27:You just can't find the street, you have to ask (pay) someone to take you there.
Review 28:It's exactly in the middle of medina, very good to explore the city and to experience Morocco. If you have a car, you can park in Andalus park one night one night for 2€. The staff is very helpfull.
