Review 1：Booked through a website. Arrived to find the owner had already debited the room fee from my credit card, despite the website's assurance that would not happen. When questioned on this, owner complained about the 15% fee the site charged him. Despite the website offering room service, I was told they were not only not doing room service, but not providing breakfasts at all. Rooms are spacious, but sparsely furnished. They could benefit from a source of light that isn't fluorescent. The hotel website does not list a checkout time. I woke at 9.45 (we're on holiday) and called the front desk. Was told 10am. When I requested a short extension, the answer I got was "Please leave as soon as possible." There's nothing technically wrong with that sentence, but if you could hear how rudely it was delivered, you'd understand. We checked out at 9.58am. Will not return. I travel a lot for work, sometimes very remotely, and my "standards" are far below average. It doesn't take much to make a place like this warm and inviting, which staves off 90% of customer complaints. This motel could learn a few things.

Review 11：The room was a non smoking room. Smokers stand outside rooms and the smoke enters ones room even if the door is closed. Need an area away from the units that smokers can be without causing discomfort to others.

Review 16：The manager (owner?) was very helpful. He would have driven me to the next bus-stop, if a friend wouldn't have come. I appreciated also that he served breakfast.

Review 24：Stayed for 2 nights. Second night we hardly got any sleep due to the guests above us banging doors, thumping something on the floor and throwing things over the balcony. Drunk and disorderly behaviour.

Review 112：The owner of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. I just asked him to give me an upstair standard room, but he did offer me for a free upgrade to an ample room with quite a nice view even though we only stayed for one night.
Review 113：Accomodation was disgraceful. Advertised as a 2 bedroom apt was totally missleading. It was a very small motel room with a smaller extra bedroom. There was no room to move or store any clothing in the main room. A disgraceful example of false advertising.

Review 116：The location was great and extremely close to everything. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. My room was upgraded as I was staying 3 nights and was comfortable with plenty of drawers and cupboard space. Breakfast was very enjoyable and good value. Guy made sure there was plenty of it and did a wonderful job of cooking. The view of the water at breakfast is amazing complete with lorikeets on the balcony. I thoroughly recommend this Motel and the owners.
Review 117：Straight out if the 70's. All original and nothing spent except in barest of maintenance. Bathroom very tired and toilet cistern leaked on floor with every flush. Dodgy shower curtain on a piece of conduit supported by cup hooks where part of sliding shower door had been removed rather than replaced. room depressing and outdated. Towels very old and thin. Pool area and general surrounds very basic and tired. Two star only.

Review 119：considering it was the 'honeymoon' suite...it had no view ....no privacy...lots of artificial smells used to deodorise the room. no feng shui..only 4 serves of tea coffee supplied. no movies or foxtel...very strict on 'cooking in the room' so no toaster or microwave...even though there was plenty of space for that...fine as a one night crash pad but not honeymoon or multiple night stay
