Hotel Lido is in Torri Del Benaco, 300 feet from the shores of Lake Garda. It offers modern rooms with a balcony overlooking the lake or the 14th-century Scaligero Castle.

Review 1：Good service. We forgot to bring tooth brush and tooth paste, and we asked the reception nice boy and we got it. Breakfast has quite a lot of choices, with good taste.

Review 2：Our flight was delayed and we arrived just after midnight! Unaware to us that the reception closed we got a bit of a telling off for not phoning them to let them know. We explained to the gentleman that we did not have a phone or didn't realise that we should have called them, he did explain that previously he had stayed there until 2am with a "no show" and didn't want this to happen again. Maybe it should be highlighted that this is a hotel with limited reception times, although we could not have done anything different as our flight was delayed.

Review 3：The location was great, just opposite the ferry. Our room was lovely overlooking the lake with a big terrace.

Review 4：We stayed in a family suite for 4, a description of the room was not obvious that this is one room divided by a wardrobe, no two rooms. We parked in the parking lot for 8 Euro per day, expensive parking. The hotel is right next to the ferry ramp, it is necessary to count car traffic.

Review 8：The majority of the staff doesn't know the meaning of greeting actually the greeting is zero,the smile is deleted from their dictionary. The guy at the reception is unfriendly at all. There are no room service at all either in morning or evening time if you would like to have a bottle of water you should go down and get it by yourself.

Review 13：Very charming room with a view, location by the lake. Beach accessible. Great breakfast. Lovely to sit in the garden by the water and have breakfast or dinner. Friendly helpful staff. Torri del Benaco is neat little piece of lake Garda with a small castel/fortress/museum and lots of lake side restaurants, shops and little beaches.

Review 14：The only negative was the car ferry right outside. It's only small but the chugging engine noise was a bit annoying if you're relaxing on your balcony.

Review 15：The hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable right next to the lake. Torri is a very pretty town with lots of good restaurants,shops and perfect spots to sit in the sun and watch the world go by.

Review 16：We have nice big room with fantastic Lake and Mountain View. Friendly staff assist as in all necessary cases. Hotel is situated 5 min walk from Scaliger castle, small port and main restaurant and shop area. We have spent nice relaxing weekend there.

Review 17：Junior suite is just a large room, even wondered if we had just been given a standard room. No wifi in the room (suite!?) Pillows extremely uncomfortable Air con leaked into our wardrobe, and they came had a look, bashed it around and left saying nothing more.

Review 18：Location of the hotel next to the ferry was good. The room was decorated in a modern fresh style and was clean.

Review 19：Pleasant room, although advert misleading. Booked a junior suite with lake view which on arrival was one room with inadequate seating and storage space. No bedside tables and a minibar that was occupied by 2 inexpensive bottled of mineral water that was not replenished for the duration of stay. Breakfast was disappointing. Priority given to locals in the adjoining cafe. Beverages were not self service so if you wanted a top up you were on your own as the breakfast room was only manned by one person and no offer of top ups were made.Considering the room was over £140 a night the hotel was not value for money at all.

Review 21：We stayed in the suite. A great space for a family. Fantastic lake view with excellent seating on our balcony. Torri del Benaco is a lovely little town. We ate at the hotel 2 evenings and the food was very good.

Review 23：It was quite expensive compared to other accomodation on our trip but it was during the busy season.

Review 24：The hotel was in a nice spot, right next to the ferry and a 5 min walk to the main area with all the restaurants. We stayed in a junior suite and the room was to a very high standard, spacious and a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. Breakfast was nice with the added bonus of tables outside. Torri itself is a lovely place and not as busy and touristy as other places around the lake.

Review 25：Internet via Wi-Fi was very bad, almost impossible to obtain the IP and stay connected. The panoramic lake views from the top floor was chopped a bit, because of a few tall trees in front of the hotel.

Review 26：Great location. Cosy and active life just outside the hotel. Peace and quiet, convenience and plenty of space inside. Staff are not intrusive, but very service minded "The Italian way ;-)". The large family room on the top floor has a small balcony in the children's section and a really big and great covered balcony with comfortable and relaxing furniture in the adult section. The spectacular panoramic views of the lake garda can also be enjoyed directly from the large king-size bed if you want. Just amazing.

Review 39：Serious lack of external relaxation space. The small pebble beach overlooks the ferry terminal, and we found it too noisy and public. Suggest roof garden or conversion of external space adjacent to stone wall.

Very lovely people who made us all feel welcome. If you can afford the extra premium i recommend the rooms on the 3rd floor. The views over the lake are to die for!!

Review 47：The only thing that I would do to improve this place is to put tea making facilities in the room! Oh and yes the wifi can be a little slow but it's free, and you are here to take in the magnificent views/food/ and to enjoy Garda, not stare at your i-whatever!

Review 48：The staff here are great, if there's anything that you need - just ask. Rooms are comfortable, and the bathroom was particularly spacious for the price range. Great choices for Breakfast...and finally the location - just 5 minutes lakeside stroll to the center of Torri, perfect.

Review 49：The trees outside the window almost completely obscured the view of the lake which was the whole reason why I paid more for a room at the front of the hotel! The ferry docks right outside the hotel and cars waiting for the next ferry line up across the street. This is very convenient but it gives a rather industrial air to the view but, as Lake Garda is so touristy and there's so much traffic, I think there's practically nowhere where you can be right on the lake and feel away from it all. If I went to this area again, I think I'd stay right up in the hills with a view over the lake. I think it would be much more peaceful.

Review 50：I had a very large airy room with an excellent modern bathroom and the hotel had its own carpark in the basement. It's not really a hotel, more a bar/restaurant with rooms above so there's no room service but the staff are very helpful and you can take drinks from the bar up to your room.

Review 56：The hotel Charged 20 Euro a day for a baby cot (other hotels give a babycot for free), seems like the hotel isn't baby friendly . Thepayment for the baby cot isnt mentioned in the web site and we weresurprised to find out about it when we checked in, if we knew this wasthe price for having a baby cot, we probably wouldnt book in for thishotel (additional payments like this sould be mentioned on the website).The hotel doesnt have any parking, the parking costs 8 Euro a day.

Review 58：Staff were exceptionally unhelpful. We booked a 3 bed 'suite' and one of us ended up sleeping on a camp bed. It was very expensive for what it was. we weren't even allowed to get in our room to use the bathroom when cleaners were 'busy' - when in actual fact they were stood chatting in the hall not even on the room! would not recommend hotel lido to friends and family members.

Our room was delightful, and had a balcony overlooking the lake, and the ferry departure point. It was only a very short walk to torri and it's restaurants and shopping.The room was clean and comfortable with lovely facitlities. twould stay here again!
