Reviews for El Reducto
Review 1:Dinner/Party went on quite late in the restaurant (as a spanish custom I assume) and the wall was obviously not sound-proof enough as we needed. What's worse, smoking was allowed in the restaurant... The opposite building also belongs to the riad. Rooms there might be quieter but less decorated.
Review 2:The interior is amazingly impressive (it's a restaurant on the ground floor of the riad) . The room was very clean and well-equipped. Staff were very friendly but could have been slightly more attentive. Food was good. Location is good but was tricky to find for the first time.
Review 3:Location is unbeatable - in the middle of an alley that goes from the Palais Royal Square towards the Medina. Ask them to pick you up on your arrival. The personal are friendly, willingly and efficient. Spacious and confortable rooms. Very good food. The decoration and restoration of the building is in a perfect morrocan style.
Review 4:I've been to many riad-hotels in Morocco and I'm a big fan of them. Reducto is a little jewel of a riad and I will certainly be returning in the future. Full of charm and atmosphere and very conveniently located right in the center of Tetouan.
Review 5:I came late, sent a man to accompany. a very nice place, very clean, very friendly and Very helpful staff , I felt really at home, good breakfast and good dinner ;although very late, I got dinner . I loved the location
Review 6:In a pedestrian alley, difficult to find, parking at a distance and nowhere to unload.
Review 7:A sympathetically restored building in the centre of Tetouan with a good restaurant
Review 8:We ate in the restaurant one night, he food was average and appeared to have been microwaved. Otherwise the service was excellent.
Review 9:We loved the location and the owner and her staff were very attentive, could not have done more
Review 10:You can hear the music from the restaurant in the room and they have the same playlist every day. When you stay for a couple of days, this can become a bit annoying.
Review 11:The staff at El Reducto was really nice! They took great care of me and made me feel at home. The room I stayed in was very beautiful. Great breakfast with fresh orange juice. I would definitely stay here again.
Review 12:Nothing.
Review 13:Everything about my stay was just perfect. The location was central. The hotel was beautifully decorated. My room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The staff, especially the owner, were incredibly cordial, and they would kindly bring anything I needed to my room. The breakfast was good, and the restauant offered delicious food. Sometimes hotels say they have a restraurant, but this was a real one!
Review 14:In casablanca suite ,the bathing facility is inside the room ,andnot attached to the bathroom!!! The bed is not wide for double bedroom or suite.
Review 15:Excelent location ,very friendly staff, excellent restaurant.
Review 16:There was nothing not to like. I really recommend visiting this city, Tetouan, which is still not very well known in the tourist circuits. A hidden gem!
Review 17:I liked it all. The dream location, the building and the interior design, the restaurant, the friendly staff, especially the lady owner who makes the riad really feel like a home to which you are the welcomed guest.
Review 18:Like an elegant old lady, this riad deserves nothing but respect. Slightly wrinkled and faded, yet classy to the core. A lovely restaurant downstairs that was so solid I didn't eat anywhere else. Relaxed yet extremely professional staff who make everything seem effortless and offered such good service that I stayed two extra nights. Add all of that to the perfect location between the médina and the ville nouvelle, and I can't think of a better choice for Tétouan.
Review 19:The rooms were very smart and cosy. Bathroom spotless. Decor tasteful and classy. The hotel is also a well-respected restaurant so really handy to have an evening meal. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
Review 20:- shower water was not always hot and sometimes very annoying - location of the riad: it's in a small alley, taxi can not get to the hotel so you'll have to walk a bit with your luggage
Review 21:- the staff was very friendly - breakfast was very good - we had dinner once in the riad and it was very good - huge bath in the 'Baghdad suite' was nice
Review 22:The hotel is located down a small alley close to the royal palace. Parking is several blocks away but not difficult.
Review 23:This is a great small hotel, only 5 rooms (2 are suites). The hotel location is excellent in the middle of Tetouan, quiet even though on edge of the medina.
Review 24:-Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. -Anything happening in the hotel and restaurant you hear very well from inside your room.
Review 25:Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is very good - it's just in the heart of Tetouan. The traditional food in restaurant is extremely tasty.
Review 26:Charming room on the roof. Problem with heating quickly resolved.
Review 27:Location, staff, service, clean room
Review 28:If paying with credit card, watch out for the added service fee from the bank because you have to pay in the local currency.
Review 29:Perfect location in medina. Very helpful staff. Good food.
Review 30:Nice tradition place
Review 31:The cold-heartedness of the manager. I wished she was professionally welcoming
Review 32:Die Unterkunft war schwer zu finden.
Review 33:Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und das Abendessen war sehr gut.

Review 37:Trouble with wifi but it was in the router not just with us.
Review 38:The entire breakfast was good but the fresh squeezed OJ was the best.
Review 39:There is no view from hotel . And it is in public zone . Not easy to get the hotel
Review 40:The staff is cooperative and helpful and friendly
Review 41:We liked everything about this hotel. Just cannot fault it.
Review 42:Hotel was beautiful, room was clean and comfortable. Location was within walking distance to old medina and sights of Tetouan.
Review 43:price location details - how to find no breakfast dark room details implied it was more upmarket than it was
Review 44:location good if you could find it!
Review 45:Overall feeling. Quite
Review 46:Nothing
Review 47:A beautiful place good restaurant and staff friendly and helpful
Review 48:I traveled with two young children aged 10 and 13. The location was central. The food excellent. Service fantastic. Extremely clean!!
Review 49:Quite difficult to find at first sight. You'll need to look up and search for a old and ruined indication for this riad.
Review 50:The traditional style of the Riad is something Magic in contrast with the outside streets. Very good service, breakfast and dinner.
Review 51:Great staff. Very helpful and professional. I was quite surprised to be upgraded to a suite by the owner so I have to say I got a great deal. Gorgeous room. Very tasteful. Wifi worked very well. Quite a nice restaurant downstairs. Location is in the heart of the medina, yet was quiet.
Review 52:Nice hotel and every one is very friendly and kind! I ate lunch in the restaurant of the hotel and it's nice. At first, it takes time to find the hotel. I asked many people to get the hotel. I want to back this hotel again.
Review 53:A beautiful place with warm and friendly atmosphere, staff really make you feel at home, lovely ambiance and superb restaurant! Excellent location. We will definitely stay there on our next visit.
Review 54:The water wasn't hot enough and the shower was giving eletric shocks, however, the staff offered to us to exchange rooms!
Review 55:The decoration, the breakfast were super typical. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to a parking and touristic sites.
Review 56:We liked everythin about El Reducto
Review 57:We loved everything of this exquisite riad, housed in a great visir palace. Incredible atmosphere, with special care to every single detail, from the pieces of furniture, antique mirrors and lamps, to the vintage music played in the magnificent courtyard. The owner told us proudly the history of the place, and its restoration. We were a 6-member family from Spain (traveling with a 9-year old child) and booked the two suites (Casablanca and Bagdad) which were a real treat, ample and tastefully decorated. Meals are served in the wonderful courtyard. Dinners are highly recommended, with really tasty moroccan plates (we had there our Christmas dinner). The location inside the medina, but close to an entrance and the Royal Palace is excellent. The staff and owner were extremelly helpful, and helped us with transportion and a local guide who gave us a really interesting tour of the medina. Without no doubt, we will come to the Reducto when our travels take us again to the delightful city of Tetouan
Review 58:As usual in the riads of Marocco, the bedrooms are very dark and the lights in them are not sufficient
Review 59:The location in the city of Tetouan. The beauty of the place.
Review 60:No wireless connection in fact (it goes off all the time). Rather noisyuntil 11:00 after that very confortable and quiet. Somewhat expensive(price announced at the hotel almost 25 euros less than the value payedon booking.com...)
Review 61:Tipical traditional decoration (with a twist). Rather impressive - niceexperience to see... Not so nice to stay
Review 62:Slightly overpriced, not the best value in Tetouan
Review 63:The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The friendly road itself is impeccable and the guide recommended by the staff was very insightful
Review 64:The kindness of some of the staff, at the reception. Not smiling neither helping! The absence of windows in the room: not enough light inside, and fresh air. The price I think a bit high for the place and room.
Review 65:the riad look of the hotel, beautiful. The welcoming of the owners, very nice. The quality of the food of the restaurant. The location of the hotel.
Review 66:Perfect location for Medina and other sights Gracious hosts and staff. Everyone very willing to make your stay special Tetouan is a good place to visit .
Review 67:Fantastic ambience. Good food. Very exotic rooms straight from theArabian nights. Walking through the medina/souk was incredible andso much more authentic than other cites.
Review 68:Only one negative – our room had a huge bathtub, which is great, but thehot water ran out before it was full. I waited a bit and added more(fortunately I hadn’t gone into it yet) but just a slight inconvenience. This was around 9 pm at night, not sure if another time might have beenbetter. This is not atypical in Morocco, especially in an old building, even in a fancy riad. But I would still absolutely stay here again!
Review 69:Wow is all I can say. An absolutely beautiful, opulent, luxurious, thoughtfully decorated riad. We stayed in the Baghdad Room for 1 night(which is way nicer than the 1 picture on the website). Like the restof the hotel, it was absolutely gorgeous with a very soft, comfortable, and large bed. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was verygood. Breakfast was typical, with basic Moroccan breads, varyingspreads, coffee and juice. The staff spoke English quite well. Thelocation is very close to Place Hassan ii, less than 5 minutes walking, and was very well-marked and easy to find. It was certainly not cheap, but for a place this beautiful and luxurious, it was a great value anda comparable place in Marrakech/Fes/Rabat/etc would havebeen way more.
Review 70:We liked everything and the riad matches the excellent reputation is has. The riad manager was really nice and helpful. The room was amazing (Suite Bagdad): spacious, well decorated and really clean. We had wifi even in the room. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommended riad.
Review 71:The riad is down a dark alleyway off El Feddan Square. Because of thislocation, our room lacked sunlight. There was no tv in the room.
Review 72:Very practical location a five-minute walk from the medina. The riadkept its original architecture with huge wooden ceilings and wasbeautifully decorated in the antique oriental style with a profusion ofrugs, curtains, lamps and mirrors. The owners were very nice and caringpeople, always helpful and ready to give you advice and informationabout the city. The staff was also very kind.
Review 73:It's a small establishment but the staff was attentive and the place has a sense of history and ambiance with local flair.
Review 74:Location and atmosphere are great. Food is excellent. A great place to stay in Tetouan.
Review 75:Easy to find and in a strategic position in the medina. The place is very traditional in terms of decoration and design. Breakfast is good.
Review 76:Its a botique hotel with a very high tretment, you will feel as home with a sultani care
Review 77:The alley outside can be a little off-putting.
Review 78:Everything, especially the atmosphere.
Review 79:Beautifully restored riad, on the edge of the Medina. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and there was great attention to detail.
Review 80:Tetuoan
Review 81:Great place! And cool owners! Ask for the recommended city guide: Naser is great! :-)
Review 82:high level of noise late into the evening, no way to shut it out since rooms overlook central space where noise was coming from.

Review 85:Friendly welcome Beautiful interior Good restaurant
