Review 1：We had a problem finding the hotel and it's car park initially as the hotel is on the waterfront away from the main road.

Review 12：We were there on a Monday night and there was no restaurant service available. A big disappointment. We asked for an evening meal when we made the booking, but no-one got back to us and it was only when we arrived that we were made aware the restaurant wasn't open on Monday evening. It struck us as a little odd for a residential establishment.

Review 15：There are not enough superlatives to describe the Gardesana! I very rarely return to hotels around the world, and I have travelled widely but I return year after year. The kindest management and staff, the superb location, the charm of the building itself, the wonderful ambience on the little harbour, the family restaurants on the beautiful lakeside, a magical experience which will give you a little taste of heaven! Utterly superb. I WILL RETURN.

Review 16：It is to be expected that to book a single room last minute in high season is not going to give you best choice of rooms. I doubt that I had the one that Olivier and Leigh chose. While it had an excellent bathroom, the view from the room itself was onto an interior ventilation shaft - oh, well. I did hear another guest say it was the best hotel they'd ever stayed in in Italy

Review 28：We absolutely loved everything!! Hotel is beautifully placed in a gorgeous harbor with amazing view. Staff is really helpful and same applies to waiters in the restaurant(great food by the way). Breakfast on the balcony is something you will never forget. If you're planning to stay in Torri, this is the hotel to book.

Review 29：Unfortunately, the local council and other agents have arranged to have loud music played outside on most days of the week until very late and it is difficult to sleep. Such a shame, and the hotel can do nothing about it.

Review 31：The picture-perfect setting of the Gardesana, and the wonderful staff, made our stay a truly lovely experience. Sadly just a couple of niggles: 1. breakfast eggs and bacon were almost cold 2. we did suffer from a lack of privacy when on our expensive balcony (top-end room), due to the proximity of the hotel's first-floor restaurant. Also, the absence of any sun-shade or awning meant our balcony was virtually unusable when temperature reached 36 degrees, as it did throughout our stay: we have suggested to the Management that a more solid divider and an awning would definitely improve the guest experience in Room 101, and we truly hope they will act on it.

Review 32：Not the hotel's responsibility, but the amount and level of noise generated in the Piazza Calderini on several nights, well into the early hours of the morning, disturbed more than one nights' sleep.

However, breakfast was absolutely superb - the choice and quality of food and the setting on the terrace overlooking the lake would be hard to beat. There was a problem with their wifi whilst we were there, but these things do happen.

Review 42：Charming, characterful hotel in an idyllic location. Very helpful, professional staff. We had a good sized room, with a lovely view over the harbour and lake. Everything was very clean and the large bed very comfortable. The room was traditional in character, in keeping with the ambience of the hotel. Bathroom was quite spacious, with a slightly quirky shower cubicle. All in all, an excellent stay and we would be happy to return.

At breakfast we were told in front of the other guests that we had to change rooms at 10.30am As we had paid for a room with a balcony overlooking the lake two nights for 360euros We expected to be treated better we moved but no apology or reason given.
