With Geographe Bay at its doorstep, the Mandalay Holiday Resort has self-contained accommodations with an outdoor sitting area. It features indoor and outdoor heated pools, 3 adventure playgrounds and Wi-Fi access.
Fitted with air conditioning and heating facilities, the spacious villas and cottages include a flat-screen TV with DVD player, along with living and dining areas and a private bathroom. The kitchen includes a microwave, a fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities.

Review 1：Our villa was dark, and the rooms are quite small/pokey. Internet signal was intermittent and despite paying ~AUD265/night, there was an additional charge for wifi, plus you are expected to do all the dishes, and put the rubbish out. (I probably would've anyway, but didn't appreciate being told to, esp. when paying the equivalent of hotel rates).

Review 2：Facilities are clean, BBQ areas, pool and bouncing castle on site. Close to beach and walking paths. Good for families. Staff generally friendly.

Review 19：I got a discount for booking with booking.com - when I arrived on site I was charged an extra $80 per child although I booked a chalet for 5. And it was expensive before the discount! Not good for an evening chat - guard will shut you down at 10pm whilst young children start to scream the place down at 6 am. This is why people go to Bali....

Review 24：Being asked to clean up and change our own bins did not sound like something worth paying $300 for. the threat of a $60 p/h cleaning charge if the room was left slightly unclean seemed a little ridiculous. The woman at reception seemed quite unhappy and was not welcoming at all. The stay was not awful but did not seem worth the money.

Review 74：Trying to check in and check out dampened my experience. When I checked in the system was down so they weren't exactly sure if I had a booking. When I checked out they had no idea how much I needed to pay and I had to tell them how much checkout was. Any questions I had were not answered so I had to work it out for myself. Even after I left the premises the staff couldn't confirm I wouldn't be sent a bill and said they would call me that afternoon to confirm but didn't. I stressed the whole drive home I was going to receive another bill.

Review 77：Wow! What a beautiful spot. We were warned by friends that once you stayed at the Mandalay you wouldn't want to stay anywhere else & they were right. The grounds were immaculate, the staff friendly & the facilities are awesome. With 5 playgrounds, 3 pools & a giant inflatable pillow the kids were entertained within the campground without the need to be constantly entertained by us which allowed us to relax & enjoy our time away too. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back soon!!

I hate to think what the charges would be for a long weekend or school holidays! It wasn't luxury accommodation by any means. Next time I think we will be saving our money and going to Bali!!
