Reviews for The 7 Hotel

Review 1:My room didn't have a view, but that was probably for the best as any room with a view in this hotel would have been on the street and potentially quite loud

Review 2:The location is exactly what I look for in a hotel - in the center of everything, and it allowed me to drop in throughout the day for breaks, to drop off items or to change clothes. Very easy and convenient. The facilities, including the bed and shower, were just right and the staff was helpful and friendly

Review 3:the window side is little bit cold? But the room has a blanket in the closet.

Review 4:The room is modern, clean and cozy. Especially, they really care for the bath room. Water pressure is so powerful that you need to be careful when you turn it off ^^. The hotel gave me a good memory in Lisboa. I'd like to visit again someday.

Review 5:You really can't get a better located hotel - this is right next to metro exit. Also, in our initial room, cellular signal was very low. I asked if they were able to assign us another room, which they immediately did, free of charge. Awesome!

Review 6:Please note that a room with an interior view means no view at all. You will have a wall and pipes at an arm's length from the window.

Review 7:I was given a free upgrade to a studio room which was very fresh and reasonably spacious, with a fully-equipped kitchenette. The location is most advantageous, close to the underground (1 min walk), Commerce and Rossio squares, Santa Justa elevator and Alfama within walking distance. A free bottle of sparkling wine on the New Year eve was a pleasant surprise

Review 8:noise insulation from other rooms not great

Review 9:Excellent location, friendly and courteous staff, comfortable bed, we had a room with a small kitchen (fully equipped), which is great for a longer stay, definitely worth 3 stars or more

Review 10:nothing.

Review 11:great staff (so kind - helpful) very good manner. appreciate them location is perfect. room is 4.5 stars hotel. dont think, just click to book. everything will be best

Review 12:Room was small. No hooks in room to hang stuff. Had to put 2nd suitcase on the floor by my bed as there was no other place to put it. Breakfast was free but it was average compared to other breakfasts we had on our extended Spain and Portugal trip.

Review 13:Location was right in the center of things. Facility was clean. Sufficient number of electrical plugs for all our stuff.

Review 14:Excellent location, almost all of the main attractions are walking distance...rooms are modern and well appointed. Staff is very friendly and professional.. Would definitely stay here again.

Review 15:Breakfast was not worth 10 euros per person. For example, the coffee and juice provided were very poor and if you wanted eggs beyond the cold scrambled ones provided at the buffet, there was an extra charge. Therefore, my advice would be to avoid the hotel breakfast and to pick up a pastry at a local cafe instead. Also, I would avoid the "interior view" rooms on the 5th floor of the hotel as these rooms have windows blocked almost entirely by large pipes, what I think was part of the air conditioning system etc. There is, therefore, no view at all. In addition, as you are in the roof of the building, the rooms have slopped ceilings with very little standing room.

Review 16:The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, especially the man who was on reception when we arrived. Also, the room was kept very clean and the central location is excellent.

Review 17:The hotel was extremely central, yet very quiet at night. The breakfast was great (love the mini custard tarts ) and the young girl supervising the breakfast was so sweet. The reception staff were so friendly, always asking if everything was okay went you went through reception. Cleanliness was top drawer.

Review 18:Everything was just fine.

Review 19:Situation is exellant, middle of the centrum and there are a lot of sightseeings nearby. Metro station is just around the corner, buses and trams after a few minutes walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with fresh fruits, coffee was also good. The atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and nice.

Review 20:Price needs to be more competitative.

Review 21:Loved everything about the hotel great location. Rooom on front of building with a view of the street. On of the best beds ever.

Review 22:The only thing to know before booking is that the rooms are very small - but clean and comfortable. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Review 23:The location of this hotel was excellent; within walking distance of all public transportation. The breakfast was excellent, the hotel very clean, and the staff most helpful.

Review 24:Could have offered more in terms of coffee/tea in the room.

Review 25:Breakfast was good. Hotel location was central and close to restaurants and tram stations.

Review 26:There was a huge misunderstanding about part of our booking (not the Booking.com rooms) because of the inexperience and poor English of a young reception staff member. It revolved around the number of rooms we had booked and the price we had contracted to pay. It caused us stress and anxiety on arrival and meant that our party of seven ladies waited in reception for one and a half hours after arriving at the hotel, without our rooms, and missed our 9pm dinner booking. A midnight phone call from Reception that night to our rooms invited us to come and settle the balance of our bill which we declined! A very poor start to a weekend break in Lisbon. I have ranked the staff as 'neutral' only because one young man let them down very badly, Angela and Pedro were excellent.

Review 27:This is a new hotel in a great tourist location and everything is modern and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and the double shower with a range of settings was exceptional. I enjoyed breakfast in the bright, modern breakfast room. Most reception staff were good and helpful, eventually resolving a staff member's misunderstanding about our booking to our satisfaction.

Review 28:Room was small not enough space for suitcases or shelf space in bathroom. Was the most expensive hotel on our trip.

Review 29:Location was wonderful, great breakfast.

Review 30:The available room was compact (we booked at the last minute) but clean and comfortable with a proper, firm double bed. The hotel is in an excellent, central location very close to transport, shops, restaurants.

Review 31:I found the interior rooms to be claustrophobic - I would recommend booking a city view room.

Review 32:Great location, very helpful staff, good breakfast, quiet even though on a larger street.

Review 33:check-in much later than announced (got postponed from 2pm to 3pm to 4pm), elevator was broken on our first morning (we were in 4th floor), breakfast room very small, window to the main road could not be left open during the night due to noise, "city view" for which I paid extra was nothing special (mainly onto the buildings in front), no early breakfast possible on the day of leaving. Staff was very helpful and friendly but could not help the feeling that the hotel was not worth the price eventually

Review 34:very friendly and helpful staff, very clean, good location

Review 35:The location was excellent - walking distance to everything including the train. The room was very comfortable. But the staff makes the difference. Great customer service and hospitality.

Review 36:Size of the rooms- really small. No natural light in my room. I asked for a room on a higher floor and got on the first floor...

Review 37:The location is great and since it's new everything is fresh.

Review 38:The attitude of staff was excellent. They were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and windows could be opened. Curtains also kept out light in the mornings.

Review 39:Kettle & tea bags in the room but no coffee.

Review 40:Clean, modern hotel. Room has good soundproofing. Lovely breakfast with good choice Staff polite & helpful

Review 41:Nothing.

Review 42:Staff was professional and eager to serve--extra towels, iron, airport transportation...all completed literally in minutes. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful each morning, location was outstanding (which allowed us to walk to most of the "must-see" places,) and the studio we stayed in was superb. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Review 43:the air condition is switching off automatically and does not go on again unless I leave my bed heated up just to press a Botton to operate the AC again! and the same problem occurred again and again.

Review 44:Location! couldn't get a better location really that is the best Hotel located in the heart of Lesbon, The Staff?! they are extremely friendly couldn't ask for more.

Review 45:Breakfast is only served from 7.30. If you are working and have an early meeting that's not so convenient. A bit noisy if you want the windows open.

Review 46:Good location, nice & helpful staff. Nice room. Enjoyed the Nespresso machine in the room.

Review 47:The hotel is located in the city centre - you can go through the Baixa district by foot. Bus stop is just in front of the hotel and metro station around the corner. The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the stay.

Review 48:Very clean comfortable room on the 5th floor. It was like a small bed-sit room with full kitchen facilities. Fantastic design for a small area.Brilliant location 1 min walk from metro.

Review 49:The interior view means no view at all, but that's just a detail...

Review 50:Staff at reception is very professional and kind! Location is very good, right in the heart of downtown.

Review 51:My room was not on the street side and the glass in the window was permanently fogged up. In the morning, one couldn't quite figure out what the weather was like.

Review 52:Personnel, especially reception, was extremely helpful and friendly. Location is great.

Review 53:Bit noisy if you try to sleep with open window.

Review 54:Very nice Hotel in a great Position of Town. 50meters to the Metro, right in the Center.Very Nice and helpful Staff. Nice Breakfast and excellent Beds

Review 55:The hotel was in a perfect location, near to the river, near to the Metro, near to everything you would need. The hotel itself was charming, attractive décor, room was fabulous, staff were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Just simply perfect!!

Review 56:This comfortable, clean and modern hotel is located in the heart of the Baixa district very near to the famous lift. The staff were very helpful, efficient and informative. Breakfast was excellent too.

Review 57:Size of the room very small, too cramped. Bathroom very small no room to put toiletries.

Review 58:Location was excellent. Front reception area was very nice. Staff polite .

Review 59:Would have nice to have a proper cot for the baby - instead of the travel cot.

Review 60:Very helpful and friendly staff. Studio was kitchenette great especially in terms of preparing food for our 8 month old.

Review 61:took a lot of time and up and downs to get the wifi working. We asked for a double bed but got a twin bed, only after a lot to do did we get the double, a very cramped room.

Review 62:Nice staff, nice clean well designed hotel smack in the center of town.

Review 63:There is no bar & only breakfast is available. Room is very nicely decorated but is small. Light for the bathroom is behind the door so its a little inconvenient.

Review 64:Location is fantastic! Just around the corner from the busier streets of Lisbon so not as loud. Station is 2 min walk away. Bed was very comfortable!

Review 65:We had a twin bed instead of a double and the bathroom is quite small.

Review 66:Great location and very modern. The lady at reception was fantastic and amazingly helpful.

Review 67:Location is excellent, right in the centre of the city and also just a couple minutes walk from a Metro station. Staff were friendly and very helpful. A lovely hotel, I'd definitely recommend it.

Review 68:The ceiling in our room is two low. I hit my head all the time.

Review 69:The hotel is fantastic! Staff was helpful, breakfast perfect, the room nice and hotel supermodern.

Review 70:staff and location

Review 71:my room, the hotel was fully booked and the only available room with queen size bed is the disabled room.!!! Just make sure what room type you select on booking to avoid such problem

Review 72:No Parking space at the hotel. Parking in public parking in the center of Lisbon.

Review 73:Excellent Staff! Very kind and helpful. Great and Nicely decorated (new) room and bathroom. Very clean. Although the room wasn't very spacious it didn't bother us because everything was very well organized; everything we needed (and more) was present. Breakfast was good. Good and fast WiFi! We would love to come back some time!

Review 74:The only thing that could be improved is having some additional hot items in breakfast - tomatoes, baked beans, hash browns, vegetarian sausages. But it's a good continental breakfast already!

Review 75:Fantastic location. Extremely helpful staff. Felt very secure. Modern and comfortable.

Review 76:I think this is a promising new hotel but they still need to fix a few things ! - We had booked a double room but when we arrived they gave us a twin room. First they simply wanted to "put the beds next to each other" (not my definition of a double room) but finally the staff accepted to move us to their "last double"... - The last night, the fire alarm kept ringing (before stopping after a few seconds every time), so we couldn't really sleep. When we asked the next morning what had happened, they didn't know...

Review 77:- The room was really quiet, we didn't hear the street noise at all. - Perfect situation to explore the city.

Review 78:All promises fulfilled. Very good breakfast, amazing bed, very relaxing shower. One great surprise, stayed in a room facing the main street and did not hear one sound from outside, great sound proof room. Could not get a better bargain.
