Guests have access to 750 feet of beach at Pacific Cebu Resort, which features swimming and scuba diving training pools and a spa. A 3-minute drive from Cebu Pier, it provides air-conditioned rooms and suites.
On the eastern coast of Mactan Island in Cebu, Pacific Cebu Resort is just over 1 miles from Gaisano Grand Mall and 3 miles from Gaisano Island Mall. It takes approximately 25 minutes by car to reach Mactan Cebu International Airport.

Review 1：Price in the restaurant is overwhelming high. far from the city proper. I request early check in but when i came rooms are not prepared.

Review 34：It's a place to get away from the madding crowd, but be ready to stay there when you get there because it is far from everywhere else. Food was expensive but the free breakfast was more than adequate. Loved the view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Don't really get the negative comments which scared me at first. But we got the reservation on a promo rate so with what we paid it was really worth it.

Review 35：Limited food choices in their breakfast food was hoping for authentic filipino breakfast like milkfish, dried fish esp dangit or the basic bacon or longanisa breakfast, it was like a foodleft over from dinner. They also serve a la carte menu for dinner only at 8pm of which we told them that it cannot be since there are children with us. No free coffee or tea even in the room

Review 39：This is a terrible hotel, the service and staff are terrible and they have NO empathy. We had to ask to be changed rooms when we first got there because the shower leaked everywhere and it ran with rust for the first 5 minutes. There was a gab under the front door wide enough for all kinds of bugs and insects to fly through. The restaurant is also terrible, the service was awful, we had experiences from bread with mould on it (which we were told was garlic...even though there was no garlic on the dish at all) they served us a pana cotta in a martini glass because it was obviously not set yet (JUST TELL US and we'll order something else...) The last night we were there I had the most horrendous food poisoning of my life from the chicken dish and spent or 14 hour trip home in an incredible amount of pain(I won't get graphic). Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else, this place really turned me off the Philippines completely.

Review 40：The pool was nice, however they were doing work around the area the entire week we were there meaning there was 8 men, cracking concrete with bars and at one point one of the other guests had to tell off a worker for using a chainsaw to cut roots of a tree while the pool was full of guests. The tree really wasn't big enough to warrant a chainsaw.

The water pressure for the bathrooms was very low, a dribble for a shower, very annoying. A 440ml bottle of water was charged out at 60 pesos this I found also to be disgusting and felt the resort was just trying to rip us off on their pricing :( If you stay be prepared for weight loss !!

Review 51：Booked through booking.com a few days before my arrival. Room was 7650 Pesos as stated on the booking.com email. Usually you book, get to the resort, and then pay the resort in cash, or so I have been doing for the past 5 years. I arrived at the resort, to be informed that they added 22.5% resort tax to the quoted booking.com price, and already deducted it from my credit card. I was NOT too happy. Also, non of my requests written on my booking.com booking form was adhered to. I had to ask for everything again. The standard room I originally booked has no balcony and the back faces local Philippino houses. The upgrade (1200 pesos) has a balcony and faces the garden. Same size room, and nothing extra. The room looked old. Bathroom tiles were moldy. The bathroom door's paint was peeling and the room needed an upgrade. Went swimming at the 60cm deep Kiddies pool. My son did not like it, as it is too shallow, s owe went to the adult pool. Being a big person, who is body conscious, I usually swim with my shirt on. I have done this at numerous resorts and in 3 different countries, and no problem. When we got to the adult pool, the enforcer/lifeguard told me I needed to take it off. I refused, so my 8 year old had to swim by himself. Then I looked in the pool, and saw Korean people swimming with shirts on, and not a thing was said to them. While sitting next to the pool, watching my son swim, I saw an elderly European man taking a tube to float in the pool. The enforcer/lifeguard came and took the tube away. Not a minute later a Korea lady came, took the same tube, and she was allowed to swim with it. I was NOT too happy. Dinner - buffet dinner 800 pesos per person. Restaurant food ordered from the menu is expensive. Good, but expensive. The KIDS CLUB room had a pool/snooker table in it. No pool cues, but a cigarette stand and ashtrays on it. It also had a dartboard in the room.

Review 53：1. You cannot use the beach!!! We arrived at 11am (low tide), we waited until 5pm....6pm and the beach still looks like a fish pond. It's just weird that they advertise it as a beach resort however, only one pool can be used for swimming.2. It takes a long time to flush the toilet (FOR REAL)!!!! It's for all their toilet. You have to wait couple of minutes for it to have water again. 3. Too many Koreans, and the staff prioritizes the foreigners. Our order (pasta) took 30 minutes before they served it, when the foreigners on the table next to us got theirs in less than 10 minutes. 4. POOR TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM. You have to pay 550 pesos to go to the airport. And if you get a cab, roughly the same amount will be collected. The main purpose for our stay here is to relax on our last day in Sinulog. We should've stayed in the city instead.

Review 54：1. I like the room, it's quite big/clean room.2. The food is great - a bit expensive thought -, their FREE breakfast sucks bigtime. It's buffet however, it tasted like a kid cooked the meals. Food at the resto and the beverages are awesome! 3. The pool looks nice and big as well, the diving pool was under repair (ON SINULOG DATES, eff yeah)!!! 4. Good place for diving.

Review 71：The only thing I didn't like was the lighting fixture at the top of the headboard. It is hidden just behind the top of the head board and presented a very (poorly thought out) danger to the Baby Boy; as he always wanted to reach up there and hold the head board and bounce. He was very confused and upset when he was not allowed to enjoy his favorite pastime.

Review 72：The Staff are genuinely friendly and very professional. I had forgotten to bring a razor and asked the front desk clerk why they hadn't provided one in the complimentary Bathroom Sundries. I told them most Hotels I have stayed at usually provide a cheap disposable razor. The Clerk was very apologetic and immediately sent someone to (somewhere) and within 5 minutes they handed me a nice Razor with 2 additional replacement blades in the package. I insisted to pay them for it, and they refused to allow me to pay them. This incident is a reflection of the sincere intention of hospitality embodied in all the staff there. I had requested a quite room for my stay and they located us in a very quite area of the resort. The Resort is large and spread out; so they have an accommodation for any type of situation. The first night we were up on a second level; which I actually prefer to the lower, but due to some problems with my feet and ankles the next morning I requested a transfer to the lower level to avoid the stairs. They were very happy to allow us to transfer to the Suite below ours as it became available in about an hour. Very nice unlimited Hot water in the shower with bath tub. I was pleased to have the bath tub for bathing our 1 year Baby boy and the unlimited on demand hot water for my aching muscles was wonderful. We were surprised and very pleased with the complimentary Professional Massages. I also was surprised with 2 complimentary drinks with our Booking.com Package deal. Upon checking out there were no surprises. WE were charged only for what we had signed for for room service extras. This resort is a sanctuary from the world and a refuge from the worldly entrapment's one is usually bombarded with at other resorts.

Review 73：The billing which was collected while we were in transit. The action taken by the booking company violated the stipulated agreement. As agreed my credit card will be used as guaranty for my bills and payment be made upon arrival in the resort.

Review 75：I didn't like the flooded bathroom , wifi connection is poor . Ithink this resort catered more non Filipino than locals. We checked inone of the rooms near the lobby but the staff had to transfer us thatsame night where we checked in because she said they need to use thatroom the following day . We booked for. 3 nights but so annoyed to makeus transfer to one room to the other . The room that we moved in had avery poor wifi, the bathroom was flooding. There was a special deal if ustay 3 consecutive nights so we took this deal only to get the free 30min massage or scuba diving training but we almost didn't get it.

Review 77：our experience in this hotel has been ORRENDUS.... the Staff trying to rip you off on everything, from the taxy to the excursions to the food to the diving. In the hotel there were only few other Korean tourists who were cheated on everything.... location is terrible, far from everything and taxi drivers ask you more money since it is so far away.... nothing to do in the hotel and no way to arrange other excursions, not sure how it can have a such high rating on booking, that's a complete SCAM, don't go there for any reason in this world!!!!!!

Review 79：I booked here after booking.com had a last minute promo to stay at theresort, I viewed the 4 photo 2 of the room not clean photos then 2 ofthe resort,The room was a prison cell with 2 beds, dirty bathroom with ants having a free run through the window with the gaps in the wall, same with the air con the gaps in the wall around the air con was really bad. I have taken photos of this prison cell to show. the area I was places had building working for 9:00 drilling, painting, digging up road to relay. A BUILDING SITE. After 2 hours, I went to reception to ask is this building work going to go on during my stay here, the reply was yes sir we have work happening over this side to rebuild. then I showed photos of the room problems and the 2 photos on booking.com to compare. They agreed to move me to a different room and the room was great after this, the room I got moved to was over the other side of the resort, it was clean, nice beds, had table and chairs outside to sit. the bathroom was clean. THIS SHOULD OF BEEN THE ROOM I GOT AND NOT THE PRISON ROOM BESIDE THE BUILDING SITE. Staff in the dining area where nice and good service, the staff at front desk need work with the the person who wheeled my bag 8 meters to my room then stood like a statue waiting for a tip. I give the tip after I through way give a tip for wheeling my case the short distance.

Review 80：After the nightmare last minute promo prison cell room, I got from here,The upgrade room was excellent, it was clean, the beds where nice, thebathroom was nice and we had table and chairs outside on a balcony for alittle drink in the evening.The pools are ok for a swim when not packed. the white decking that looks over the water is very nice place to sit with partner with table and chairs and bean bags to sit on..

Review 81：Exploited poor remote location by adding a surcharge for allowing external taxis into the hotel premises (and banning tricycles) whilst demanding a minimum P500 charge for using their own taxi. Also, restaurant prices were excessive - again exploiting the lack of external options. Beachfront was very smelly due to filth in the sea - could have been easily kept clean if staff had been deployed on this task rather than extorting money out of guests who wanted to leave the hotel. Finally, the website misleadingly and wrongly states that the hotel has 3 restaurants - it does not, it has one.

From the hotel only allows st book their own hotel taxi which is many times more expensive than taxis with meters.

Review 130：The location is far from everything even the main street with taxis. The hotel extras, like meals, are expensive. At night I didn't try to go to the nearest area with bars but i went to the shopping center, not special at all.

Review 131：The private beach is beautiful considered Mactan is not an ideal island to spend the vacation, in my opinion. I liked also facilities. It's a good place to stay with somebody or to relax yourself in peace. I wanted to enjoy the local sea before moving to Boracay ;)

Review 132：This resort has strange policies. I dont think it is a problem of the staff, they are only doing there job. Management is definitly bad! Since i was sunburnt i wanted to wear a shirt in the pool. Staff told me it is not allowed. So i told him i already saw people wearing shirts in the pool. His question was: were it local people? Rules only apply for foreign tourists or what?! Definitly not again this resort!!

Review 134：The pool is not really that good they need to improve it. The food we had was not good at all! I hope their new chef will make a big round of choices. But I hope he can cuz even we order a simple palabok!.... When I taste it! It's doesn't taste palabok at all and we need to send it back to the kitchen to make it taste good! But it doesn't at all! We are ripped off for the wifi, my partner was the one who got it! We paid 1k for the usage of wifi 24 hours! When it's free for many hotel and resort in mactan! The TV reception is not good we need to ask for assistance for couple of times because the cable TV and picture is blurry and not clear at all!

Review 135：We are happy that they upgrade us to ocean view for free, when they don't have queen bedfor garden view accomodation. I requested for Queen size bed when I booked the hotel. The staff were really very friendly and accommodating. The location is good! Quite and peaceful!

Review 136：Hotel was very old and is in need of some repairs. Room was old and didn't any maintance since opening. Mold in the badroom, no more paint on the ceiling etc.... Beds were hard and not really clean. I know it is a cheaper hotel but that doesn't mean you don't have to do any maintenance
