Review 1：The staff were hospitable, but as Amphawa is geared more toward Thai tourists, their English wasn't very good, thus making it hard to communicate and to have basic questions answered. While the room was beautiful, it was not ensuite. For 25$, that didn't seem like very good value. Also, the outlets were across the room from the bed (annoying as all basic dorm accommodation has outlets next to the bed).
Review 2：Close to the floating market and bus stop. Comfortable bed, high quality linens, aircon, and TV. Lots of places to put things. Excellent breakfast (included in room price). Good wifi.

Review 4：The Thai-style house at a quite location but very close to Amphawa market. The female owner spoke good English and was helpful.
Review 5：Do not get trick by the place that they showed in a map. This place does locate close to Mae Klong River but the place was blocked by somewhat 2.50 metre walls and there was not much of air ventilation within the public courtyard. They offer breakfast (included with the room) but to be honest, I was expecting a local food with fresh ingredients such as this authentic fish dishes or freshly cooked scallops, shrimps and such, not the American Style breakfast or ABF.
Review 6：This place is very close to Amphawa Floating Market within a short-walking distant and locates just right at the main road when travelling from Bangkok towards Amphawa or Rama II Garden. Baan Chompoo offered us a warm welcome (Homestay-like style) while the place did not really resemble homestay accommodation very much. We stayed there for one night and we spent lots of our time travelling around Samutsongkram province so there is not much to talk about the room in the hot afternoon but the cabin at the far-end inside that we got was hot as hell. The owner told us we should call the reception first to pre-turn on the air condition unit for the room 30 mins prior our arrival. Cozy place and packed. Television in the room was by far the biggest entertainment system I had seen when staying in hotels. Parking space is very convenient.
Review 7：Our room didn't have a window, which made it a bit claustrophic. Also there are obviously young kids in the family. They made a lot of noise upstairs, fairly early in the morning.
Review 8：Staying at Baan Chompu was a nice cross between a hotel and staying in someone's home. The people running the place were friendly and helpful (though they didn't speak much English, so travelers who don't speak Thai might have a problem). The building is an old wooden house, and some of the woodwork was gorgeous.

Not only showed us the shortcut to the floating market, but also kindly picked us up to maeklong to catch the minibus on 5:30 am,or else we will miss the flight. Nice breakfast. Beautiful garden. Reasonable price, since it's not on the riverside(only 5 minutes walk)
