Reviews for Auberge Dar Najmat

Review 1:Wifi is only available in public rooms but they say that in the brochure.

Review 2:Beautifully positioned overlooking the beach, an infinity pool, super-friendly staff, lovely home cooking, comfortable rooms. Don't stay here if you want stainless steel and glass, and 5 star luxe!

Review 3:Beside the beaches and the arches on Legzira Beach nothing to do when the weather is dissapointing.

Review 4:Good hotel with a beautiful view and a good swimming pool, good kitchen, friendly staff.

Review 5:Nothing

Review 6:Having stayed at 2 other (more expensive) properties on our previousvisits to Mirleft, we now never wish to stay anywhere else in this area.The position is excellent, ambiance perfect, food very tasty, and theviews looking across the bay beautiful. It was lovely to walk from theAuberge directly onto the beach (usually accompanied by the delightfullyfriendly and well behaved house dog).

Review 7:Food not good, either breakfast as diner of poor quality. For the price of the rooms, no hot water in the morning, no hair dryer available. Staff is not trained

Review 8:Very beautiful house, decorated with a lot of taste, friendly staff

Review 9:Beautiful view to the ocean. Excellent service. Delicious Moroccan food I have ever tasted. All elements combined made a magical experience.

Review 10:with that view who cares about all the extra's, but I must say the staff was amazing, helpful and warm. So my compliments to them.

Review 11:The location is excellent

Review 12:charged their standard rate which is slightly higher than booking.com

Review 13:fantastic location overlooking the beach, great pool, great staff, great meals

Review 14:Amazing view, infinite pool, delicious food, great room, very polite and wonderful staff

Review 15:Cigarett smoke in bar and public areas. Background road noise when outside.

Review 16:Gardens, room, food

Review 17:Food might have been a little bit more exciting

Review 18:Wonderful views of bay and surrounding area, great pool and garden to relax, dining on terrace with sea views.

Review 19:This place is paradise. The location and facilities in the hotel are excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was consistently excellent. It was very quiet and relaxing, and really helped us to unwind after the chaos of Marrakech.

Review 20:We enjoyed 3 wonderful days with our two small boys (1 & 3) in the perfect Dar Najmat. This really is a paradise place with a warm welcome by the belgian owner, dream-views from the pool-side down to the nice beach, a stylish terasse and tortoises in the garden, a body-board to use for our older son who was in heaven, a heated extremely clean pool (26deg. when we were there in mid February), a perfectly kept garden, a gourmet chef always smiling - also making DELICIOUS desserts, very helpful and friendly staff who are always there when you need them: teaching berber / supporting with the children / keeping everything perfectly clean and us happy, a warm fireplace in the evening, nice rooms with TV & wifi, comfortable beds, hot showers, nice breakfast,... what more could one wish for! A real bijou place in paradise! Thank you to the owner and his wife and all the staff for keeping this hotel in a perfect way!!!

Review 21:This is not negative criticism but a suggestion. If you want a sea/poolside view consider paying a bit extra and getting a room that overlooks the sea and pool... we did that and got own little terrace too – wonderful and well worth it. Only one tiny complaint: would be great to have a slightly larger safe in the room as it wasn't big enough for an iPad

Review 22:We enjoyed the tranquility, the stunning location overlooking the sea and the beautiful, heated pool. We loved the sound of the waves at night (but it was not at all intrusive) and the kindness and willingness of the staff who never tired of helping us to learn a little bit of the language. The food and accommodation were excellent and, yes, Rachad the dog was delightful tool! The location is great with easy access to good beaches, Mirleft and Sidi Ifni. Brilliant. Thank you.

Review 23:Unpleasant owner, made to feel like commodity and not made to feel welcome. There seemed to be a culture of penny counting about the hotel. No interest was paid to food preferences/allergies etc.

Review 24:Swimming pool and location.

Review 25:- personel don't speak English at all, which was embarrassing and troublesome; - there was not wi-fi in our room (only in public area); - water in swimming pool was quite cold;

Review 26:+ breathtaking views on ocean + pretty desing inside and outside hotel + cleanness + breakfast and dinner included + close to the beach + nice swimming pool + fireplace + big car park room with small terrace with beautiful view on ocean + only 9 rooms in hotel so sometimes we were the only guests! + very quiet place;

Review 27:The only semi-negative thing I can say is that the staff was a little bit elusive after we checked in. They were very welcoming and lovely when we checked out, but in the interim our interactions were largely with the chef and another employee who wasn't entirely announced to us. That being said, it was nice to be relatively left alone and helped us to relax further.

Review 28:The location of the hotel is absolutely magnificent and the property itself is beautiful. We found it extremely relaxing to be there and were able to make ourselves very much at home. There is a beautiful common space upstairs with a fireplace and all the creature comforts of home (wifi, TV, couches, reading materials, etc) and a magnificent pool deck. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

Review 29:I opted for half board, the food was a little bland, over cooked and repetitive, compared with other culinary experiences I had in Morocco.

Review 30:The location was fantastic, overlooking a quiet beach, the orientation of the Infiniti pool and deck captured the sun all day

Review 31:It would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room -wehad to go upstairs to ask for tea in the morning; the hot water tookages to come through to our room (room 4) and, given rainfall inMorocco, this seems very wasteful. The pool was chilly! Mirhleftuninspiring - so the "no" below relates to the town ratherthan the hotel.

Review 32:The location was fabulous; the design of the building; furniture andartefacts; the staff; the food; our room opened on to pool terrace -wonderful! Liked the tortoises! Sidi Ifni an interesting town.

Review 33:Very nice rooms and excellent meals. Great pool.
