Reviews for Nagoya Tokyu Hotel

Review 1:Staffs are helpful. I have bought a melon and asked them to lend me a knife. They have the melon cut and served in very nice plate with very nice utensil, excellent service. Much appreciated :)

Review 2:We are Group form Indonesia and we are Muslim. The Break fast no sereve halal food, I hope next time , the hotel going to privide Halal Food

Review 3:Location and Staff very help full. the lady at FO hotel very help full I forget the name. and specila thank to Ms. Ryoko Hamajima.

Review 4:Location, very close to Sakae Station which is bound to many subway lines. A large range of good restaurants, kimbinis and cafes nearby. We were given breakfast free coupons for one day use and really worth it.

Review 5:The room was on the small side and quite noisy at night, even though i was on the 8th floor, i could hear the people outside all night. It's a shame I had to pay for the hotel car park, considering I was a resident.

Review 6:Great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel and the shower was very powerful.

Review 7:We had a problem with the very limited shuttle bus to Chubu International Airport. Not enough seats for all passengers n too many luggages. Gym costs ¥3240 for ine entry is far too much. Most hotels in New York r free n open 24 hours.

Review 8:Nice n neat room. Good service.

Review 9:The staff is the highlight of our stay in Nagoya Tokyu Hotel. First, we had our luggage sent to the hotel before we checked in, and the staff had it sent directly to our room. Next, when I had to delay the picking up of my rental car, the concierge helped me call the rental company and proceeded to write down on my rental voucher the name of the person he contacted. Third, when my child suffered from stomach flu at 3 am, the staff offered antacid to relieve her pain. Thank you!!

Review 10:Wish the additional beds for the kids are not so soft.

Review 11:We arrived at the Chubu airport in the evening. It was great that the airport limousine service brings us directly to Hotel Tokyu Nagoya, especially when we have big pieces of luggage with us.

Review 12:2 of the beds were those on wheels and not exactly comfortable. The other 2 beds were just slightly smaller than a queen bed so if they had allowed us to just have a normal twin room, it might have been sufficient for 4 of us as we were fine with 2 persons sharing a semi-double bed in a hotel we stayed at earlier in our trip. There was mold along the grout lines in the bathroom. It would be nice if they could remove the unsightly stains.

Review 13:The room was big and spacious and could accommodate 4 beds.It cost much less than if we were to get 2 twin rooms. The staff was polite and worked very fast. The front counter staff rushed to complete check in as quickly as she could. Another staff member also hurried to give us the tickets when we approached her to buy the airport shuttle bus tickets for the next morning.

Review 14:All staff is excellent. Even though my stay was short, reception team recognised my name and face which was incredible. Spacious room, easy WiFi access.

Review 15:The arrow in the sign board for the airport bus is not specific , cause lots of confusion. Arrow should point exactly where the queue should start

Review 16:Hotel staff polite and helpful . Able to provide useful information when asked.

Review 17:The distance to subway is a little far hence it isn't easy to walk all the way to the hotel.

Review 18:The overall had offered us a great hospitality and we highly recommend everyone to consider this hotel despite of the short distance to the subway.

Review 19:The was a welcoming letter when I checked in at the hotel telling me that I would have an express early breakfast in the following day (starting at 6am). As I was leaving the hotel early to go to the airport, and there was no breakfast included in my reservation, it looked perfect for me. But during my check out the next day when I asked about that to the reception desk, they told me it would not be possible to have the breakfast as stated in the welcoming letter. And I left to the airport without any meal.

Review 20:everything. The confort is excellent and there are lots of things and devices to make the life of the guest easy in the room and in the whole hotel facilities.

Review 21:Nothing

Review 22:Location very good I was place on executive floor and enjoy the coffee But I suggest to the hotel to recruit more Englush speaking staff Thank you

Review 23:It is a little bit far from Nagoya station, but 5min walk from the subway and in the middle of Sakae district (central disctrict of Nagoya). The room was a little bit small compare with the average room in Japan for the same price.

Review 24:The hotel is really nice and beautiful.

Review 25:Price is reasonable but not cheap.

Review 26:Spacious quadruple room enough for 4 persons. Carpark charge is 1200yen for a day provided convenience to guest with direct access from carpark to guest room floors. Walking distance to all shops in Sakae.

Review 27:Great value for price. The hotel is very conveiently located, clean, and beautiful. Even the rooms with single beds are nice. I'll definitely be coming back!

Review 28:I want to know please if there is any cancalation fee after checking in was done ? Do booking.com charge canaclation fee from the Hotel? Example, book for 3 nights and check out after1 night, do booking.com charge canalation feee?

Review 29:Breakfast was good

Review 30:I think bed is too hard. Fitness center could not be available with a fee. It should be included on the room price.

Review 31:Very well educated and polite people. One of the best ever.

Review 32:Certain non-smoking floors still smell smokey?

Review 33:Location is great but still about 5 mins walk from exit 12 of Sakae subway. Nice hotel but the foam bed and pillows not the best experience.

Review 34:The facilities, very helpful and accommodating staff, cleanliness, accessibility. Convenient transport from airport direct to hotel and vice versa via airport limousine bus at great price. Kept our luggages for us for 2 nights when we went to Tokyo

Review 35:Staff communicated effectively and promptly, very helpful. Decent room size. Walk to subway station with numbers of restaurant and convenient stores along the way.

Review 36:The room was quite small, but nothing to lose sleep over.

Review 37:Staff were excellent and gave us a luxury experience, and the location was brilliant. The facilities were fantastic and it all felt luxurious. Especially considering the amount we paid.

Review 38:Quite small breakfast portions. Wifi is shared amongst others on the floor.

Review 39:Great looking hotel, nice and clean. Nice friendly staff. Memory foam beds and pillows. Cheap underground parking for your car. The room service was also great. Location.

Review 40:the first room we had was in a very old style and with damaged fornitures. It was a smoking room but we had to ask to clean it and the air when arrived because was not possible to stay.

Review 41:location near to the subway (5 minutes) and room with two single beds larger than japanese standard

Review 42:We just weren't big fans of the area. The reason we booked in Nagoya was that it was a reasonable base from which to day-trip to some of our other destinations.

Review 43:The staff was very helpful and courteous. The hotel is well maintained and our room gave us a great view of the city skyline.

Review 44:Nothing to dislike

Review 45:the location of the hotel was really great. The hotel was close to the underground subway station, about a 5-10 minute walk, and you could reach the Nagoya central station very easily from there. The Nagoya Tower was near the subway station and you can get on the Meguro bus in front of the tower. This bus is a sort of sight seeing, hop on hop off bus and takes you to the interesting places in Nagoya. Locals also use this bus to get around the city. The hotel room was very big and there were 2 double beds and a double sofa bed for the 3 of us and we still had some space to move around! the hotel also gave us one day free breakfast, which was a nice surprise and the breakfast spread was quite good and there was food for us Muslims to eat. All in all I was very pleased with my room and stay at this hotel.

Review 46:Excellent hotel in central location, incredible professional and efficient staff. Best location in Nagoya. I am an experienced traveler and believe me this is the best hotel in Nagoya by far. A favorite among locals for its luxury, status and prestige hosting many important local events and receptions that don't diminish or interrupt your experience as a guest but are interesting to witness as a guest.

Review 47:Massage service was just so-so, not exactly very near the subway exits.

Review 48:Free buffet breakfast with both western and Japanese dishes, chubu airport limo drop off/pick up right at hotel lobby, warm and quiet ambience, excellent service from staff, could accommodate early check-in request, has quite good facilities like a spa/gym etc.
