Review 1:Rooms are noisy. One side is over service area and impossible to sleep. Some rooms require dragging cases up some stairs. No consideration from staff.

Review 3:Woman overseeing breakfast was terribly rude. I drew attention to her that the coffee dispenser had run out of coffee. She looked into the dispenser by taking out the top lid and said there is still coffee. So, I placed my coffee mug under the spout and turned to open the handle but no coffee came out. Then, evidently to make her point , she tipped the dispenser 45 degrees and some coffee dripped into my mug. I asked her is this the way guests are supposed to use the coffee dispenser? She simply turned away without a word. I went to the front desk and compalined to Joel, sorry, I should have written down his name...?..but I think that was how his name sounded. The woman's name sounded lkie Carina or Sarina...or something like that.... Not certain either. The front desk guy apologized. Being of Asian descent, i feel the female breakfast staff's attitude towards me was tinged with racism. I noticed her before and after this encounter smilingly waiting on white people and even arranging their chairs to seat them with such extended attention. The other staff were courteous but this particular female staff smears this hotel with a very bad reputaition by my experience.

Review 4:Hatd mattress, two mattresses pushed together instead of a proper double bed, noisy air con, eatable but limited and not very good breakfast

Review 5:Not far from the city center, clean, the room is relatively spacious, friendly staff.

Review 6:The wifi was very bad. Not many plugs for the mobile phone in the room. At the moment of the check out we had to pay 2 euros for the touristic tax. But we had already paid for the hotel 1 month before when we booked and we didn't t expect 2 euros more without having been told.

Review 15:It was freezing Cold in the room and the water was also freezing cold There was no coffee making facilities in the room and the room felt like living in a sauna with none of the luxury of heat!!!

Review 19:Clean, very comfortable room. Excellent personnel. The hotel feels cosy. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is on a main road but my room was quiet. However, I was on the 7th floor. Not sure whether this would also be the case for lower floors.

Review 20:I didn't like the night comfort. Just under the window of my room at 0:30 AM the laundry truck parked and the delivery started with the trolley rollers rattling on the pavement and in the basement. I called the reception and they could do nothing. The next day the same repeated. Disappointing experience in a 4 star hotel.

Review 21:My room was on the second floor in front of one of the main bias of Lisbon. The cars mooved all night long in front of my room and I didn't sleep. I was on business...

Review 23:Nearby supermarkets and shops are all closed after 22h. Also not a wide choice of restaurants nearby.

Review 24:Good location opposite the metro station "Parque" and also very close to the metro coming from the airport. Walking distance from the centre about 35 minutes. Very friendly staff, great breakfast served until late in the morning. No problems at all with wifi.

Review 27:Access to internet was rather slow or not even working most of the times, we were on the ninth floor. We did not get new towels in the room when it was bein cleaned, usually had to wait until later in the day to get them.

Review 29:I had an early discount on my reservation and when I went to check in due to present a new credit card had to pay again this value and wait for the refund of the amount paid. Suffice charge already missing value that was the same person just with a different card.

Review 30:OK, we did book an "economy double" but only had a partial 'double' - there was only one bedside table and only one reading lamp. We assume that this type of room is normally for single occupancy.

Review 32:Others have mentioned the problems with sound-proofing: there is no problem with insulation between the rooms, we heard no noises from the neighbours; but the doors are not that great, if someone walks on the corridor or starts talking in front of their room at night, it can be annoying.

Review 33:Every member of the staff we've met was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices.

Review 34:We didn't have the actual credit card with us that we booked the hotel with several months earlier, and the reception desk staff would not accept a different card as security, so basically we had to check out and get the original booking refunded and then check in again with the credit card we had with us. This seemed rather petty and we have not seen this problem before.

Review 38:Nothing really. If one is very sensitive about hearing sounds like people passing by your door than this might be an issue.

Review 39:After reading reviews stating that the WIFI connection was very poor I expected a same experience, however the WIFI works very well! It is very quick, free and easy to access (without any login codes or numbers needed). The location of the hotel is very good. It is centrally located and very close to the starting point of the "hop on hop off" buses (for is this very convenient as these tours give a great overview of the city). Metro is located in the same street just two minutes away. Plus, staff is very friendly and speaks English very well! Breakfast offers a great variety of choices (English breakfast, fruits etc.) and staff is very up to date with replacing things and checking if something is needed.

Review 42:Wifi connection didn't work. Not that it was slow but it broke down all the time. The rooms are small and dark (tiny windows) for a "four star" hotel. When the hotel is full, there is no space for guests in the breakfast room. One has to queue in corridor. Prepare to queue for coffee machine. Not a relaxing experience at all.

Review 46:Friendly staff, clean, family room very spacious. It even has table and games for kids. Excellent idea - in the family room try out the sound system when watching TV while kids are asleep - if you turn off the sound, it comes from the speakers in the toilet that are across the room from TV and near the couch, but not from TV speakers that are close to kids bunk bed. So you can enjoy your evening, while kids are sleeping!

Review 47:It should be a 3*. No sleepers, no coffee machine in the room, wifi on the 9th floor was working really bad.

Review 49:At check in we were ignored by 3 members of staff. We arrived late so just wanted to go to bed asap. Unfortunately our sheets were smelly like there were not changed after the previous guest. When we complained at check out we heard sorry but still had to pay the full price.

Review 53:The room had all the facilities. However, it was small with old furniture and small window which created the impression of a 3 star hotel. There was no carpet in the room, only the wood floor. In my opinion, the hotel should offer slippers for this type of rooms, because the floor is cold, Moreover, even though the walls are thick and you didn't know if somebody occupied the next room, the door is very thin - you can hear everything on the hall. We had the elevator nearby, and every time someone stopped at our floor, you could hear it. Actually, you could hear every person that was having a conversation on the halls.

Review 54:The room was clean and it had all the facilities of a 4 star hotel. Breakfast (which in our case was included) had various foods. It was buffet style, self serving - hard to decide what to eat because they all looked and tasted great. Eventually, by the end of our trip, we manage to taste everything. The service was very good, the personal was nice and helpful. The hotel is 1 minute walk from place Marques de Pombal. It's farther from the central (Place Figueira), but we enjoyed the walk from and back to hotel everyday. It was a very pleasant way of daily exercise.

Review 55:Room was quite small; there were some ants crawling in the bathroom - this was reported to the receptionist who said she would take action on it; it is about 40 min walking distance away - we like walking, but the roads are steep uphill, making it tiring to walk in and around Lisbon, so we had to rely on public transport to access the hotel

Review 58:The check in is only at 14:00 and coming from an early flight is extremely trying and no offer of anything or even a drink is very poor customer service.

Review 59:We arrived at 2am in the morning of my birthday due to a delayed flight and exhausted enough, we received a room on the third floor. However, the hallway already smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. As expected, the smell inside the room was even worse and as non-smokers, it was impossible for us to spend the night there. When I asked for a different room, the man at the reception apologized but first only offered to give us a room air spray to get rid of the smell. Only when we requested a different room again, we are offered to stay in a family room until next day. Next morning, we had to proactively approach the staff to get our room changed again. Our new room was an "upgrade" as it was located on the 10th floor, however the room was the exact size and equipment as the room we first received. We received no formal compensation or voucher for the inconvenience caused, which I think is a bit regrettable in terms of customer service. However, the staff was friendly and helpful but you had to take care of matters by yourself. I had expected a bit more service since it's a four star hotel after all. Next time, I will probably not stay here again.

Review 60:- nice, large and clean rooms - except when neighbors talk in hallway, good isolation (little street noise) - good breakfast - good location, close to three subway stations (closest one, Parque, goes directly to city centre in > 10min) - grocery store (Pingo Doce) 5min away by foot - friendly staff - free wireless in all areas - large, comfy beds

Review 61:Brutal experience at check in regarding not having our original credit card that paid for our room. It had since been compromised and we had a new card number. This didn't meet their policy. It was a disaster of a check in and no sincere apology. Location is not great either.

Review 62:Breakfast was very good with lots of cold and hot choices. Room was decent.

Review 63:Rude and racist reception. We arrived around 9am and after we have shown out IDs (Romanian passports) their attitude immediately changed. The room was not ready, but that was somehow expected. The receptionist attitude was very rude and he only told us that the room was not ready and ...."come back at 2pm!!". There was no advice on what to do, what to see around, how to get to the city or where to eat in those 5 hours until the room was ready. Totally unprofessional staff, but the hotel was ok.

Review 65:The bed was very hard, could not get onto wifi from our 9th floor room, but no real issue as great from reception area with lots of seating available.

Review 112:#405 broken toilet flush. They were asked 4 times to repair it since the arrival and only on the night before the departure they went up to the room at 23h disturbing the sleep. Not all of the so called "comfort rooms" are that comfortable since some are small and on lower levels without any view but to a wall or inner patio.Very claustrophobic...Don´t want rooms lower than the reception level (0). They are not organized and are constantly making mistakes at all levels. Always check the amount of money they booked from your credit card and your invoices and bills. Fortunately Lisbon has many other options to choose from. This Hotel never again.

Review 114:They overcharged me on the credit card due to their mistakes and incompetence. They charged more than the amount at the time of the booking. They gave me back the money but on the departure day they called me on my phone to demand for more money. Luckily i checked my credit card just on time. They are not to be trusted.

Great value for money, 4 star hotel at 2 star prices with all public transport on your doorstep and only a 5 Euro cab into the city centre. Rooms are well equipped and clean. Excellent.

Review 130:・地下鉄、バスの駅が徒歩3分位 ・ホテル専用の駐車場あり ・親子3人で4泊宿泊したが、大人でもOKな2段ベットとダブルベット付き、エアコンつき、収納も豊富でとても広い部屋でにて快適に過ごせました。 ・PWいらずのFreeWiFiが下り25MBSでておりとても快適でした。 ・朝食会場ではとても親切な女性スタッフに向かえられ気持ちのいい朝を迎えられました。
