Reviews for Albergo Il Cacciatore

Review 1:Wifi was a little spotty, but the staff directl us to their other hotel steps away.

Review 2:The room size was good and we also had a balcony overlooking the valley. Private parking was also a plus.

Review 3:The staff was very welcoming and responsive to my needs as a solo traveler. Located in the heart of Spello, this historic family run albergo has a panoramic view of the Umbrian countryside with lovely rooms and delicious breakfast!

Review 4:long walk from car park and Pavement outside the hotel was up due to drainage works... difficult access with luggage.

Review 5:Great location and wonderful views...

Review 6:Didn't have a bad experience, just would have liked to see a little more variety for breakfast. We were there for 4 nights so we had the same breakfast everyday.

Review 7:View from patio and our room was breathtaking. The owners were a sweet older couple who had recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. They were helpful, kind and very attentive. Our room was European (smaller) but was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. Cappuccinos or espressos served in the mornings on the patio overlooking a beautiful, Italian countryside. We were traveling with our kids (12 and 13) and felt safe enough there for them to have their own room and go to dinner one night without them. Several restaurants close by! Unless you are looking for more of a spa atmosphere, I wouldn't look anywhere else. This was perfect!

Review 8:The ammenities were poor, especially the hair dryer and the shower was tiny. The breakfast was below average, except the fruitsalad which was fresh and delicious.

Review 9:The hosts were wonderful, friendly and even though couldn't speak English, did everything they could to help us. The view from the room was breathtaking.

Review 10:February was low season so some restaurants were closed.

Review 11:Friendliness of owners, gorgeous views, medieval town, great restaurants nearby, spacious room

Review 12:Wonderful & friendly hosts & staff Great views of the Umbrian landscape Peaceful and relaxing environment Delicious and inviting local foods and cuisine

Review 13:No internet in rooms. This is an easy and not expensive feature to add.

Review 14:1. Asked for specific room at time of reservation and management said "Of course." 2. Lovely view of valley. 3. Front desk very helpful with info and getting taxi.

Review 15:Our sleep was interrupted twice by three very loudbarking dogs in an adjacent garden, the shower had poor pressure and the temperature varied, the extractor fan did not work, breakfast was very limited (and only dispodable plastic cups were provided for juice etc), dinner was no more than average, access to the hotel garage is possible but only with a small car. Overall a disappointment and not good value for money.

Review 16:View was excellent as expected, the evening staff spoke good English and were very helpful, the bed was comfortable.

Review 17:Beware if you can't handle steep walks and lots of steps as there is no lift but plenty of steps. Travel light.

Review 18:The spectacular views and location are just right. Some good restaurants short walk. Loved the drive up through the small winding streets and I mean small winding streets. Not far to walk from the bus. Close to bakery. The people were very friendly.

Review 19:In my room there wasn't the fridge.

Review 20:Position, Quiet, Staff. The staff was polite to reserve a parking space for our car in a so little town where is difficult to find it. Breakfast and restaurant were good.
