Reviews for Stonewell Cottages and Vineyards

Review 1:The peaceful surroundings, the lovely cottage and extras provided for you, and the greeting party of ducks that were happy to see you come every time.

Review 2:the cottage is actually a semi and you could hear the people next door.

Review 3:very relaxing and peaceful, the cottage was very well furnished modern but keeping the cottage feel, loved the little extra touches....

Review 4:We didn't realize how small the place we were staying at was going to be and were very dissapointed, definitely not good value for money. Very low supply of wood and the gentleman who owns the property was very blunt and not very approachable. We found we had no privacy and struggled to stay in the cottage for longer then 2 hours.

Review 5:Although we weren't very happy with the accomodation, tina was very kind and tried to make our stay as good as possible.

Review 6:Cannot say that there was anything we didn't like. It was really a piece of paradise

Review 7:The attention to detail and the generous extras ..wine chocolates etc. The ducks the view the lake was beautiful. Good to reflect

Review 8:There was nothing we didn't like.

Review 9:We loved all the little extra touches throughout the cottage. The décor was lovely and the views fabulous. The ducks waiting at the door was really nice too. Would definitely recommend to friends and family travelling to the Barossa.

Review 10:When you are travelling you don't have food, so a lack of dinner food can be a tad painful. You can order a 'basket', but it's not really dinner and you need to notify by 10am if required.. again difficult when travelling. Suggest you pick up dinner food on the way, be prepared to go out for dinner, or order Pizza which is really the only take away that will deliver to the cottages. Also, the Wifi kept dropping out which eventually became so annoying that I just used my phone as a Hotspot instead.

Review 11:The cottage is a very cosy and convenient place to stay. The ammenities are great and the Spa is a great size for 2 people to sit in and enjoy a drink comfortably. Probably the most comfortable bed we stayed in on our 3 week trip. A VERY substantial choice of breakfast foods was great. Very close to Seppeltsfield Rd which gives you access too all of the attractions in the Barossa. It's very close to 2 towns for supplies or dinner out if needed.

Review 12:Luxury furnishings - attention to detail All the extras - rowing boat, sun loungers BBQ etc Delicious local breakfast produce plus gourmet treats Stylish huge spa bathroom

Review 13:Nothing, loved everything :)

Review 14:Everything. No expense or effort spared in preparation of the property and supply of luxury food, wine, coffee machine and beautiful goodies from the local Barossa region. Do dinner at "Appellation Restaurant" just up the road - amazing!

Review 15:A beautiful weekend we could not fault in anyway .Everything was there that we needed .We arrived the Friday and could have quite easily have just spent the weekend inside we lacked for nothing .Would highly recommend to any couple looking for that perfect romantic weekend .

Review 16:The thoughtful touches like bread for the ducks breakfast, candles, port and fudge by the spa, comprehensive breakfast selection. Coffee pods!!!!! Fantastic location. Close to appellation and sepeltsfield road.

Review 17:If I had to find a complaint then it would be the wifi signal is really poor and the firewood could be smaller pieces and pine as hard wood does not burn as well.

Review 45:Nothing?

Review 46:The attention to detail was second to non. There was a wonderful and ample selection of quality local produce for breakfast. Loved that there was even special breakfast to feed the ducks, who visited to the front door each morning!

Review 47:Bed was too soft and lacked support and a metal egg flip would have been helpful

Review 48:Secluded cottage in a beautiful location yet only a few kilometers from Tanunda and close to wineries.

Review 49:Our stay with interstate friends was absolutely wonderful. The location & setting was beautiful. The appointment & cleanliness of the cottages was amazing. Every fine detail was thought of from the bedrooms to bathrooms & kitchens. Even the warm log fire on our cold nights! From our breakfast provisions to wine, chocolates & biscuits were a delight. We all loved the beautiful cottages & their setting on the pond with the friendly ducks. Thank you so much Tina for our wonderful stay at your beautiful cottages. We are all talking about when we will come again. Perfect score from all of us. Julie, Phil & Friends
