Situated right in front of Sagaminada Ocean, Hotel New Sagamiya boasts traditional Japanese-style guest rooms and natural hot spring baths that offer great sea views. It also features a Japanese garden and a greenhouse with beautiful flowers.
The hotel has both indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, as well as smaller baths that can be enjoyed for a private use. A beauty massage salon and a souvenir shop are on site. The outdoor swimming pool is available for free during summer.
Each spacious room at New Sagamiya Hotel comes with large windows that offer plenty of sunlight and the sea views. It is fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding. A flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle are provided in the room.
The property is a 7-minute drive from JR Atami Train Station. Free shuttle is available from the station if requested at time of booking. Atami Castle is a 6-minute drive away, and Atami Baien Plum Park is a 13-minute drive from the hotel.
Delicately prepared Japanese multi-course dinner is served in the guest room with a Nakai (personal attendant) service. Japanese breakfast is also offered. On-site Shiosai restaurant provides various meals for lunch.

Review 1：The hotel is between the cliffs, the sea and the road. To go out is a taxi or a car absolumet required.

Review 2：The diner in the room is simply unforgettable We recommend it. The view was outstanding despite the electric pole. The Hotel staff was really nice.

Review 3：The private bath was very nice, the room maid was as good and efficient (yet polite) as ever, the kaiseki was next to perfect. A most satisfactory experience, we sincerely recommend this onsen.
