Review 1：Some stuff are very choosy on whom they wanna greet. There is a one particular stuff there whose very obvious in treating a guest. I was with my partner waiting for the elevator and it open and she came out. She obviously seen me but she only acknowledged one person and that's my partner and she just have a quick glance at me and boom gone as if there's only one person in that place. She shouldn't treat guest like that coz she didn't know which one is who. I'm Filipino and my boyfriend is a foreigner but I'm not dumb enough not to notice that sort of treatment. Dont treat me like I'm a trashy sort of a woman. Don't compare me to other girls. Think before you act if you really finished school to work in a hotel. And also aircon no good. We end up having a flu. The water came out rusty when using the faucet at the bathtub. And also too much service charge and questionable service charge even though we're the one who do the service. And they bill us more than they should as seen on the confirmation booking.

Review 2：The hotel locates in the middle of nowhere. Very far from city center and center of Mactan. Poor variety of breakfast for 4star hotel. No city maps available, no info about prices of minibar. It was really suprising when we got the bill at the restaurant - the prices in the menu were without all taxes.

Review 11：Plenty to mention.i will start with the value of the hotel,i wont consider it near 3 star as the amenities needs maintenance jobs,toilet isnt flushing properly,the grout was grubby,the shower head isnt flowing well.it needs calcium build up cleaning.the tv was so small.for its price ,i dont think its reasonable and its over priced. When my family of four went to breakie the staff keeps on asking for coupon ,but staff didnt even gave us any for our two extra person yet i inform the reception the night before. That causes alot of hasle that morning. When we decided to go swimming there was no towels provided. For a charge of 1,240 php for an extra person and we have two adult son and daughter.plus the charge of the room that was confusing that started with 3,500 to actual day price 4,000 php.it wasn't the best holiday ,surely wont recommend to anyone.we did have plans to stay for two days but of what happend we have to check out quick smart.so unreasonably priced. Oh one more thing we paid for two extra person but the reception only gave one reciept for one extra person.it was stranged.

Review 12：Staffs are good and prompt no doubt it,however some are obtrusive with reminding us the charges. One instance was when we went to the pool the attendant kept on saying to hurry up , meanwhile we just got there,what a disgrace.also that food bought outside isnt allowed,,that they will charge if its more than two person.also during dinner we decided to cancel two tin cans of coke as we ordered wrongly,it was unopened untouched but the stuff said not possible as it was charged.i mean he could have just do a little paperwork to satisfy a possible patron.

Review 13：We didn't like the road or intersection that we had to take from the main street. It was kind of narrow plus there was a public transportation terminal next to it which makes it crowded. The marble bathroom tub was a great idea but the sink/toilet area was kind of tight. We also didn't like the fact that there was no direct access to the pools from the hotel, we had to walk around the building.

Review 14：Loved the view from our room at this hotel plus the fact that an abundance of pools albeit next door were available for our use. Loved how spacious our room was, the furniture, dining table and great cable TV! We also loved the trees and cottages by the beach.

Review 15：The ambiance...the facilities .... Swimming pools....the white beach lines... The staff... Although we xperience earthquake during our stay last March 30, 2015....at the 5th floor but all I can say ...the building is safe!!!

Review 16：You have to walk to the neighbouring beach (Vistamar) for us to swim in the beach and it was a bit difficult for my mom and dad to move about since they are quite old. The breakfast food was terrible, good thing my sister was there to check-out the food and there were no authentic Filipino breakfast food like dried fish, longganisa or even the basic bacon for Westerners. Booked 2 rooms for 4 adults and 2 children, they considered 1 child as an adult because she was quite big and all she ate were scrambled egg and rice plus juice, and in the end my sister ordered ala carte since its cheaper (750 for breakfast buffet) but she also has to go to the other resort to collect the food.

Review 72：Hotel don't have own pool / beach. You have to use neighbour hotel facilities like pool and beach? Gym is also neigbour building. Breakfast bufet seldom refilled, so if you arrive breakfast after 830 don't expect to much! Poor wifi coverage. Even reception area almost not covered by WIFI :-(

Review 73：Very nice and polite staff! Helpful and with a bug smile always. We stay there during the earthquake Oct 2013 and the building got some serious damages inside from floor 4 and up, elevator also closed down after so we had to walk the stairs. Therefore hard to rate the impression bad / good cause of the conditions, but its located in a very quit part of Lapu-Lapu, with real fresh air and very close to the sea. We will probably be back, but next time we maybe have an apartement or house there ;-)

Review 74：- When the tap is turned on the water starts off brown or yellow. - curtains don't fully cover the window = waking up when the sun comes up - stained carpet in rooms - stained bed cover - no safety deposit box in room, had to go to reception and they took one out of another room. - no hand towel in our room - doors to the verandah don't close properly ( there is a 2cm gap on the edge and the door doesn't lock, bugs get in room) - the hotel is not near anything, ie shops, hard to get a taxi and they are expensive ( extra charge if they come to sotogrande) - they don't actually have a pool, u have to use the two pools in the two small hotels next door, they don't have pool towels for you to use. You use the bathroom towels. - room service slow and bad, we ordered and they said 30 mins, it took over an hour and half the food was cold. ,most not enjoyable. - there are not enough tables/ chairs in the restruant, you usually get stuck waiting in the reception where there isn't enough chairs. And breakfast choices are limited and highly based on a Korean/Japanese diet. We hardly ate anything. - there was not plug in the shower and the pipe must have been blocked as it often overflowed into the bath/shower. - pool closes at 8 pm, however the hotel let at least 20 people stay at the pool to close to 11 pm making alot of noise and keeping us awake ( we were on the 6th floor)

Review 76：I would suggest to change the info in the adds of booking.com since itsfalse advertising! Not located on the beach, no wifi or any Internet inthe rooms. No chance to get a taxi at night because of the location. Thepicture is not in add is not applicable to the hotel!
