Reviews for Le Relax Beach House

Review 1：The location offers plenty of services/faxcilities in their promotions, but in fact they are not provided. Additionally, facility uses cancerogous naphtalene balls to santize their closets, which is both harzadous to the environment and dangerous to health. The restaurant offers a large menu, but roughly 70% of the items are not available (because they use the same menu for multiple locations). The kitchen uses plenty of MSG (mono sodium glutamate, "aromat", "ajinomoto"). Only one room has sea view (no.1). The house is badly isolated, so either you have the a/c on full blast or keep on sweating... The rooms are too much furnitured and decorated.

Review 3：- Misleading data in the prospectus: "Tea & coffee maker facilities" are a joke, the same applies e.g. for "mailing services" etc. - They use Naphtalene moth balls to deodorize their closets - this is dangerous (can cause cancer!) and poisonois to the environment - Only room 1 has sea view - Beach is hardly suitable for swimming - The decorations of the rooms are a thing of taste - the room felt cramped with too much staff and furniture - house is built inefficiently in terms of energy saving standards - most items on the menu provided in the restaurant are not availbale - Restaurant uses plenty of MSG - WLAN only available against high fees - hammock shown on the prospectus and on the internet pictures is not in place any more

Review 5：there is only one room which is worth the Money. all 4 rooms are the same price, and the other 3 are much too expensice. they are very small, the balcony has no sea view and you have almost no space to sit outside or open your suitcase inside. we tried to get our Money back as we saw the room - but this was refused by the Manager "you have already paid!" (he asked us to pay before we saw the room - a big fault from our side to agree). we really wanted to leave as we got a room which we have not expected, and which was not at all worth the Money. there wasn´t any good will, or coming towards us - beside that we got one night in the only nice room. I can only recommend to go to La Digue - it is an fantastic Island, but dont stay at Le Relax. there are so many other better Options. enjoy your Holiday.
