Review 1：You get nothing for free here, the prices are actually kind of ridiculous. The food is average at best, even the more pricey dishes. Drinks are served in a poor fashion (Margarita in a waterglass). There is a general lack of detail which is expected for the price you are charged.

Review 2：The ambiance, the grounds and pools are amazing, the general design of the place is filled with vegetation and cozyness. The pool, The pool is the biggest on ive seen in my life! And generally very clean. There is a salt water pool and a sweet water pool. The salt water pool runns like a big lake in the middle of the resort. The rooms, The rooms are cozy and beds are good. Furniture is kind of old though but they are alright. Cr and showers are very fresh, even though our toilet dident work when we arrived, there was someone quickly there to fix it.

Review 3：I would welcome lower prices for accommodation. Overpriced beer - why three times more then in the nearest shop ?

Review 4：Possibility to eat when I want, also at 2 a.m. (in Kilimanjaro restaurant), facilities - there is everything except of roller-coaster.

Review 5：Restaurants could involve a wait for a table at certain times. Only one shuttle to and from the malls per day. Other hotels in the area provided at least 3. Also location is great if you plan to remain on site for the entire time,if not, it can take upto 1 1/2 hours to get to the malls in cebu

Review 6：Hotel grounds are very big, even with full occupancy, the hotel never seems crowded. Excellent staff, very attentive and helpful. The quality of the food in the restaurants was very good. Lots of good quality facilities although many of them occurred an additional expense

Review 7：The whole stay was great, staff were excellent, food was good. The lagoon concept is great and staff keep noisy guests (if any) under control so it was a very peaceful resort. Good for anyone with or without kids :-)

Review 8：The lagoon was dirty with algaes, leaves and molds that made the lagoon slippery most especially the back part of the kalimanjaro cafe.

Review 14：The only thing about the resort that bothered me was that I had to call room service to order a room service menu before I could order food. Maybe it was just missing from my room. It would be nice if the resort would help out the local community, just outside the gates there are many family's living in deplorable conditions and I think it would help if the resort would work with the community to help rebuild that part of Cebu.

Review 15：I loved the resort, it was very comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. The lagoons were a great place to relax in the evening, just floating around looking up at the stars. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. I would stay there again!!

Review 18：We stayed at Zanzibar house and it s a little far from other facilities. This resort is far from some local area, so if u use the suttle service to shops where u want to go, u may pay more charges. At the main gate, u can smell disgusting scent...

Review 20：The location was a fair way from Cebu city and this caused most taxi drivers to turn their meters off and charge a high flat fare, as soon as they heard "Plantation" and "Bay" in the same sentence. Note to remember here is you must be firm with the drivers.

Review 27：Our room location is VA20 located at the 2nd floor,there is an ongoing repair and painting in the lower units which is very disturbing due to the noise of hammering and the toxic smell of the paint which aggravated my allergic rhinitis.

Review 29：The staff are polite and friendly but the manager is ignorant and doesn't seem to have been trained in the field for customer service/relations. I was treated quite badly like a vicious criminal only because I invited my Aunt and cousins. I was not denying knor hiding anything, we were just seating and talking enjoying the atmosphere. They unbelievably humiliate me in front of my guest and there was no need for that at all. I did complain about it on the next business day but the manager was not on duty then. Nobody return to me whatsoever. As far as I'm concern they owe me an apology. The place is nice with a very lousy manager who should not have worked there. I will make sure that these will be known to all the future plantation bay customer to stop further damage and ripping customers.

Review 33：From the picture I saw it was around clear water with white sand but I got shocked when I arrived finding out the beach around the property is not but big swimming pool with art paint on the swimming pool ground to make it look like real beach max depth 5 feet only and they drain it from time to time for cleaning and the beach is not clean. I went to Bohol with better location hotel and better facilities with half the price I paid.

Review 35：I was so happy to get there and find the road was far from the room so there would be quiet at night time and not be woken up by car and bikkies beeping there horns. Then to my surprise on my first night there I was so unhappy to be woken by loud banging from construction there. Early in the morning.

Review 42：Reception changed/downgraded the type of rooms I booked without notifying me insisting I got the correct rooms but not able to explain the difference. Eventually was changed after I complain of the treatment. Also not considerate to place all my family 3 rooms) in adjacent rooms.

Review 47：I think the prize for the breakfast - around 1000PHP was a bit high, especially when you could have a beautiful evening buffet - eat as much as you like - including a nice 2 hours show for 1350PHP. Except from that everything was very good.

Review 48：I really enjoyed the huge swimming lagune as well as the smaller pools with freshwater which is nice for children who dont like salt water in their eyes. The lagoon view was beautiful, and the restaurant food was very good. The combined show / buffet in the evenings was also very nice with good food and good entertainment. The whole area seems to have a high standard, is nice and clean and well maintained. Last but not least, the whole staff was very serviceminded and showed a great hospitality from start to end.

Review 49：We were the in the week of the Chinese New Year so the breakfast was too crowded in the morning with waiting lines up to 15 min to access the breakfast room. The breakfast itself was however very nice.

Review 69：Unable to get an iron to iron clothes from guest services as they do not have any? We wanted a taxi to go to Cebu centre but were only offered their driver and the cost was three times the price of a taxi...we asked for them to order a taxi but they refused and only gave us the costliest option

Review 77：overpriced water sports, always charging for 2 persons whether there is an official minimum limit or not, so make sure your other half is up for the activities you would want to experience, or be prepared to pay double anyway. Average staff, tasty but very expensive breakfast, small beach front.
