Review 9：My stay was tainted by the fact that additional costs for my first night (new years eve) had been added to my bill and taken from my account without my knowledge. Housekeeping service was also extremely slow, We had to specifically call and ask for the room to be made up every day of our stay as even by 4pm it still hadn't been done.

Review 16：when you check in be aware you will be waiting till after 3:00 pm to get the room , i have requested the early checkout but wasn't there , the service is slow , i reach around 12 pm and my son was tired me and my wife too and we had to wait for 2 hours in the lobby where it is open and hot :( . another thing is the nature of the place , the room switch off everything when u leave and take the key out (normal as it careless to leave the AC on while u are out) this leads to the insect and the lizard to be hanging round. id you leave any biscuits or some food out ants will be all over the place , even in the night u here the insects moving around , tis was the only thing bad about it . but the stuff at the hotel were doing there best to clean it .

Review 22：I have to agree with the comment regarding location. The hotel is next to airport, so there is a constant noise of landing and taking off planes. But what is worse, there are many helicopters doing loops over the hotel, which is a totally next level of noise. If you are into taking midday naps, forget about it, unless you like to be waking up to air raid nightmares. We had an unpleasant incident with our laundry, when our stuff still in laundry bags was just thrown out of the room and forgotten there. When I called reception about the situation, I was just constantly redirected to a number where nobody picked up and nobody eventually handled the situation. I had to go to reception myself and there was met with very irritated response. All in all, paying over 330eur for a standard room I was very disappointed with the service standards of the place.

Review 24：Everything was perfect. From the moment we entered the staff was courteous and highly helpful. The rooms were great and a nice place for kids with entertainment. The restaurants were nice as the chef helps with dishes for dinner.

Review 65：1. Buggy service could at times cumbersome especially during rainy days as most of the guests wanted to use them 2. Not a very good payment system where the guests are made to pay full amount on arrival + security deposit in full. If the actual amount charge is less than the security deposit they will refund the difference to the credit card account which we do not know when. No Manager had ever thought a simpler method - charge the actual room rate in full. Take a security deposit without actually charging it and charge the actual when checking out. It is so simple why opt a method which is practised by private hospital.

Review 66：A nice chalet type hotel giving a feeling of traditional Malay kampung. Well located in a good stretch of Cenang beach. Within walking distance to Cenang Town Centre either through the main road or through the beach. The hotel reflects the 5-Star in both the price and service. The staffs are professionals and they know what they are doing.

Well priced and very professional level of service. High level of attention to detail and amazing results . ( manicure and pedicure ). However, they have a special "batman" who comes and catches them, also we were offered change to the room with the upgrade because of that.Just ask for ground floor room upon arrival. The breakfast was varied and thoroughly enjoyable. The two restaurants in the resort were convenient if you didn't want to walk out to eat. Beach is right outside and mostly clear of other tourists, so you always get a nice quiet time. The cleanliness and comfort is what we wanted, but not too far from the busy thoroughfare near Cenang Beach. Free wifi.

Review 94：I didn't like the uniforms that the staff now wear. When under the previous hotel management, one of the most notable things to note on arrival was the beautiful elegant dress of the staff. I feel this is definitely a mistake as colours look and make look like the Hilton's uniform. Also my sister fell over a different floor level when we were having tea outside the Meritus Club Lounge and no one followed up with her how she was.

Review 95：Beautiful location and traditional feel to the hotel which I have now visited 5 times although it is more than 8 years since my most recent stay at Pelangi. Excellent grounds and facilities and enjoyed the CBa restaurant on the beach as well as the lounge bar. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff certainly enhanced our visit.

We booked their pick-up service from the airport but the flight was delayed, they just leave and don't leave anyone to keep noticing the status of the flight. we have to find a taxi to get hotel in the night by our self, I mean it's a small island and the hotel is not far away from the airport, I don't think it is a difficult thing to keep tracking the flight and provide the pick-up service.

Review 126：It's really close to the airport (15 mins by car) so we can easily arrange our time and don't need to be hurry to get airport, the swimming pool is big, clean and comfortable. other facilities are excellent as well. The room is big and has a really nice view (beach front) so we are able to be relaxed while we staying there.
