Review 1：Super friendly and accommodating staff. They facilitated our request for an early check-in. Also accommodated request for gluten-free bread at breakfast.

Review 2：Too bad there was a lot of constructionwork on the roads in Spello and also in front of the hotel. Of course it's not their fault and they gave me a room at the back of the hotel. It's a little bit inconvience but don't let that hold you to book a room in this great hotel.

Review 9：Firstly Spello is a magic place, we had a beautiful long lunch at Cantina opposite hotel & then had such a comfortable stay in this very tastefully decorated hotel. We loved the hand painted walls & ceiling in the adjoining lounge, the beautiful views from our bedroom & bathroom & the extremely attentive service from the staff. Breakfast was delicious & we loved the variety of fresh, local fruit. All in all, our favourite hotel in Italy. We will be back.

Review 10：The staff were very friendly, welcoming & helpful. We greatly appreciated the availability of a computer for guests' use and the beautifully painted lounge available for reading, relaxing etc.

Review 11：Just a word of warning- if you arrive by car- a bit tricky as the street is one way and it is a small and fantastic old town. Once you reach the hotel you will receive the information on parking which is close and convenient- just a bit of a trick to get right to the hotel if unfamiliar with Spello

Review 15：The elevator is not at ground floor, one has to go up a few stairs to reach it and again there are more stairs to get to the room after leaving elevator. This did not pose a problem for us but it might be a problem for people with disabilities or elderly.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast and beautifully presented, excellent cappuccinos. Location was perfect, within walking distance of attractions. Review 27：This property is located in the heart of Spello, a fabulous Umbrian hill town. It has some really lovely elements, including the soaring ceiling in the common area. The outdoor area is lovely. The breakfast was wonderful!

Review 33：We didn't stay at the Hotel in the end. We arrived, looked at the room, and proceeded to cancel our reservation. The reception kindly offered to only charge us 1 night. The hotel just does not look like its pictures. The terrace is unacttactive, and the 2 rooms we were able to look at were dark with no outlook but to other stone walls at best. The room itself was very basic. While the building may have some interesting historical important frescoes or architecture, this does not make up for the rooms and outlook. Sorry, but we had much higher expectations.

Breakfast on patio a real treat, some renovations going on nextdoor but this is Italy, there are always renovations going on somewhere near by!
