Review 1：staff efforts to make our stay pleasant were way beyond what might be expected. Big appreciation for all from front desk to restaurant and general staff. Amazing!

Review 4：Sauna and pool area are technically OK but slightly deteriorated and not well-kept. When I was there, there were no cups to drink water. With a little effort this place could look nicer !

Review 9：I've been upgraded to Deluxe room that was bellow average. Bathrobe and a bottle of water are not considered deluxe. One electricity plug per room is so 1940's. Bathroom has not been renovated for long. Hotel needs modernization. Restaurant food was average. Hotel is 30 EUR worth taxi ride away from Utrecht. Would not recommend.

Review 13：Much further out of town than anticipated, not on a direct route. Surrounded by factories. Chaos at the Centraal Station (Jaarbeursplein a construction site) and a downpour meant that a taxi, not a bus, had to be taken to the hotel - extremely expensive. No protection from the rain between the dropoff and the entrance. No direct lift access to the Leisure Centre, which meant passing through the reception area to and from it. Not good. Meals very ordinary and not reasonably priced. No fresh or UHT milk available in the room.

Review 14：Quiet room and location. Reception staff reasonably welcoming. Well -appointed bathroom. Bus stop for bus into the city centre reasonably nearby.

Review 15：Besides the barman there is hardly any qualified staff at the restaurant or the reception: 3 girls behind the counter giving directions to a customer while other guests are waiting to be welcomed and checked in.

Review 22：The food at the restaurant is really limited in choice. It also wants to be fancy but the dishes have no flavor whatsoever, that's the worst thing about this hotel. Unfortunately there is no other option for dinner close to the hotel, so... The room decoration is also about 30 years old.

We have been given the chance to check-out at 3.00 PM instead of 11.00 AM in order to enjoy the leisure center at the fullest for a very symbolic additional fee of 12.50€/room : what an amazing idea!

Review 32：There can always be misunderstandings and other problems and part of a good hotel is making up for mistakes in a friendly manner: after screwing up my dinner at one of the previous stays I had a nice letter from the director and on one of my next stays I felt almost overcompensated. Arriving to a big closed free parking is the first plus, the friendly welcome at the reception also helps to feel appreciated. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, the fridge is well equipped and the bathroom has just the right kind of amenities. The restaurant has a nicely varied menu and the bar leaves no wishes for friends of excellent malt-whiskeys and all kinds of beer.

Review 33：Loved the room. We had a very late check-in but the staff welcomed us with a smile :) and agreed for a lazy checkout too. This is one of the few places I would love to re-visit, may be even just for staying in Carlton President. :)They have a huge parking space too. Probably best place to visit with a car.

Review 47：This is a very good hotel which exceeds my expectations. I got the offer from Booking.com with relatively low price for 2 rooms. I was surprised with the rooms that we booked. I thought I paid wrong price. Bathroom is nicely done with separate bath tub and shower.

Review 48：What a wonderful place to stay! Beds were AMAZING; I never wanted to get out of it. Hotel and room was clean and well-kept. Staff was accommodating and friendly. The food at the restaurant was FABULOUS; I ate there every day. Bar in the evening was very relaxing. I would 1000% stay here again. Thank you!

Review 49：Towels were not very clean. And if you need extra ones for the wellness facilities you have to pay 2 euros for a towel and 7 for a bath-robe! Mind the hotel is to around 15mn by taxi from Utrecht train station it will cost you 22 euros to join the hotel. You can also go by bus for 4,30€

Review 63：Hardly reachable by foot from centre of Utrecht. With public transport you'll get there quite easily: A public bus stops 5 minutes walk away at "Zonnebaan" and takes you to centre of Utrecht. Marsseen Railway station is 35 minutes walk away.
