Review 1：we booked a superior room but we got a little room with one queen size bed. We asked for separated beds and then they gave us the room that looked like the one we really booked. I felt we got what we paid for only after having to "ask" for it again.

Review 2：the hotel is good, staff is nice.

Review 3：When I arrived the floor was a bit dirty. One day my room wasn't cleaned at all. My room was on the ground floor with the view of the parking place. The shower cabin is small and the water stays on the floor, there is no place for shampoo etc. in the shower cabin. Very cold in the bathroom. No waste bin in the room, only in the bathroom.

Review 4：Polite staff. The tram stop is very close to the hotel. Very good wi-fi.

Review 5：There is nothing else surrounding the hotel. No restaurants or shops. Very isolated location.

Review 6：Very close to tramp station so getting to Utrech central station is easy and just under 20 min

Review 7：Very Basic. The bathroom especially could benefit from a little usability test: huge shower and the water stays on the floor, no Place to keep your shampoos etc. Two wash basins - for what?? More usefull would be to have room for your vanity case. under floor heating missing althouhg tiled throuhgout so very cold.

Review 9：The room floor and bathroom sink were a bit dirty. The entrance through the gates for bicycles/pedestrians is hard to find (it's on the east side). No parking space for bicycles either.

Review 24：. Unproffessional staff: My colleague and I stayed at the hotel (2 rooms/ 1 night) from Thursday 3-9-2015 to 4-9-2015. I booked the room through Booking.com where i mentioned i needed to have the company name and address added to the invoice. I asked again if this could be done on the night of check in with your male receptionist. He said he would ensure it was taken care of. The day of check out i receive the invoice from one of your female receptionists without the company name on the invoice. I mentioned that the finance department of our company won't reimburse the money for hotel without the name of the company on it. She said she couldn't change the name but would contact the head office to have it changed. She took both my email address from work and home and i received no contact from anyone over this matter until i sent another email to the hotel. After 4 attempts i finally got the correct invoice and the excuse that they didn't have the correct email address. Needless to say this is highly disappointing and discouraging for business travellers ! 2. Mold on the shower curtain

I called the hotel earlier in the day to book a taxi for when I reached Amsterdam airport at 10pm at night (not safe for a young woman on her own) the taxi was never booked and I was left waiting and ended up having to pay double for another. When I called to check on the taxi, the hotel staff said they don't know why it wasn't booked and to just take a more expensive taxi straight from the airport, which is exactly what I wanted to avoid. Not helpful. 2. No lights working in my room other than a very dim lamp in the corner 3. Gone off meat left in unplugged mini fridge 4. When I called for a hairdryer in the morning it didn't arrive. 5. Staff were unhelpful and did not go any further to make my experience any better after hearing my complaints.

Review 30：Cleaning staff constantly going into the room while you are still in and sleeping. As I was sleeping long that is very unpleasant and when they start the cleaning route it is noissy then and sleep is not much possible.

Review 36：Ordered a taxi when I arrived at the hotel. After 15min checked with the frontdesk and it happened that nobody had called the cab. After asking again, and waiting for 30 minutes I decided not to wait anymor and go by myself.

Review 40：Was my family ( my wife, my child 5 years and me) and they did not let me sleep in the same room. They said that i needed bookin another room, separate me from my family, and no had another room, so my wyfe sleep with my son in the room and i have to sleep Aline in my car for 2 nights. I never had one of this terrible experience, that sleep in the car. Mr. Joey and other guy that made this with me. Was in may 2nd. I think that was just charge me for my Chile, and no let me sleep in the car!!!

Review 42：Location was very good for me as it's a bit of out of the city centre but right on the bike route from Amsterdam to the part of Belgium I was heading to. I needed just a bed to sleep in, but the rooms are clean, functional and the person at the check-in counter was super friendly.

Got answer its authorization...I was trying explain that I understand it but gentelman on the phone kept saying its autorisation!!!! When we arrived we got room, which wasnt clean....Dirty towel and bed not changed.....Wow I was a bit suprise....I went downstairs and asked Lady in reception(assistant manager) she was very suprised that room wanst clean...me too so. She gave us different room. I talked to her about been charge twice for 1 room...she said she will try to cancel that but if not will take 2 weeks to get my money back!!!!Just 2 week. So well after nothing else was done no offer for free drinks or anything we decided we are going only to sleep over there and spent our money in doferent places for breakfast, lunches etc. I will not to be back to Bastion Group Hotel again. I am sorry and I will not recomand the place. I was working in the Hotels for last 10 years and I was suprise they deal with me so. I was charge twice for the same 1 room!!!

Review 49：Hotel is located close to the city center (10-15 minutes by tram), the staff is very friendly and the rooms are really comfortable. There was nothing really negative during our stay, everything was fine. Prices could be lower, otherwise this hotel is a decent choice when staying in Utrecht.

Review 61：Price of Breakfast €14.00 for such a poor buffet, no fresh fruits, no fresh croissants ... Samll cornflakes packs ; coffe just fine... really too expensive for what it is.

Review 62：with a little improvement in many things, the hotel can improve substantially. Frigo in room makes a lot of noice, so much that you hear the ones in the other rooms at night. TV didnt work (connection cable not in the room). Breakfast is relatively poor for the price, and the buffet was not replaced.
