Review 1：There is a big difference between the cottage rooms and the rooms in the wings, the latter are much nicer. If you stay here longer it gets a little boring to have to eat at the same restaurant. As we were there around X-mas there were many guest parties in the hotel area causing some disturbance.

Review 2：The hotel facilities are quite complete; spa, private beach, pool, restaurant, dive shop, little shop, children's room, play area, activities desk, but it was all very small. Free shuttle once a day to malls. Food in the restaurant was good.

Review 7：felt that sister hotel was better located and there was nothing to do. The staff were great and it was modern and comfortable but I would not stay there again. Also there were, with two gates the feeling of being encaged in a prison. Also there was no help as to looking at real estate and no staff would comment at all when requested.

Review 9：The local road to the resort needs upgrading and could be better but considering the local culture, quite understandable and even adds colour to the experience. We had a bad experience with the taxicab service on our departure to the airport from the resort. A LESSON TO LEARN!!! The resort should have a source of reputable transportation to and from it, regardless of the time of the day. We had a really bad and unfortunate experience with the taxicab that took us to the Cebu International airport on our departure from the resort at shortly before 4 a.m. on Dec. 11, 2015. In front of the South Wing Departure Terminal at the Cebu International airport, the taxi driver opened the trunk of his car before we got out of the car and did not even bother helping us with the luggage. In a few seconds, we discovered that one carry-on luggage (one of 4 pieces) was missing and was likely taken out of the trunk. We were three passengers (I, my husband and sister) and we all counted 4 pcs of luggage that were put in the taxicab trunk before we left the resort. Altho pressed for time before check in, my husband and then ask the driver to take us back to the resort to check for sure and indeed, none was left at the resort. Needless to say we had valuable personal items, (including prescription meds) in the luggage. We reported the incident to the security guards at the terminal but had no time to report to the police.

Review 24：Booking.com gave me an option of having 2 double beds in our room, I didn't get that, instead we only got a double and a single bed. I wish we could have have been given a room on a first floor, it's not fun having twins and a 4 year old climbing up stairs.

Review 28：it's a rich oasis in a very poor and busy part of the city, it works well if you need to go to the airport...otherwise you are in a golden oasis in a difficult context, forget to go out of the hotel to enjoy what is around unless you decide to have at least 45min taxi drive somewhere else. i can't say that is "cheap" but it's true you have a lot of services offered.

Review 29：We were looking for a comfortable place were to spend the day waiting for our international flight from Cebu, It worked well in costabella. it's comfortable and there is everything, small beach, swimmingpool, restaurant, garden etc staff was nice and we could keep the room until 6pm paying half day.

There is constant banging and drilling and smashing.No they don't tell you you have severe and massively disturbing noise from 8.45am to 5.00pm The internet almost never worked and broke down almost every few hours. What a disaster of a holiday.

Also we arranged for an independent company to do our island hopping cruise and I had asked if our family members could come and meet at the hotel. They wanted to charge 950 pesos for each family member just to use the hotel for a pick up point. My family members weren't actually going to use the facilities so the visitor rate should have never been an issue.

Review 39：I loved the proximity of the resort and facilities. The pools were awesome. The beds were big and comfy. The buffet breakfast was great. It was really only about half an hour from town.

Dinner good selection prices as expected in hotel would be cheaper outside but we opted to sample their food. Brilliant band very talented. Breakfast had great selection good coffee. Room huge and very comfortable, also opted to have massage at hotel Spa very luxurious and worth the money. Also they offer a postal service which was a relief rather than bringing postcards home.

Review 44：Tip. Do not use locals on right hand side of hotel for day trips. May look cheaper but rather go with the hotel excursions. Took a day trip to chocolate mountains and had local food which was included in price which resulted in Deli belly. Family members join you on the trip and use the time to sell you their souvenirs so it can cost you a lot more

Cleaning of beach area starts when people are already relaxing outside . One staff was sweeping the sandy beach with dust reaching the guests. This was at about 9 am, putting all the cushions first then sweeping next explains why I itch after lying on the cushion with all the dust and the sand .

I am not a smoker myself but I find it really pushy that they forbid customer to smoke on the balcony (yes for real!) and that they didn't at least made a smoking place on the beach or at one of the restaurants. - Overall, a little overpriced for what it is...

Review 114：We booked the deluxe pool side room, and we ended with a double bed and a single in the room. A cheaper room we booked elsewhere at a quarter of the price had a queen bed and a single! And ignore the free WiFi they tout on the site. Forget logging in when you're in your room. You may need to trek to the resto,or sit beside the computers behind the front desk. It cost us P350 to get to the airport because we grabbed a car-for-rent that dropped off guests as regular cabs find the resort out of the way. No free shuttle for this hotel at all!
