Reviews for Les 3 Métis
Review 1:Bed wasn't great and the room we had was super hot at night. Ask for a room with windows that can be kept open at night.
Review 2:Excellent food and atmosphere. Very tasteful decor in the bar and restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Review 3:Hotel at intersection of busy streets therefore noisy. There would have been a view if the sky had been clear, but very bad pollution obscured the view. Long way from stores, attractions. We had requested 3 nights, but found out at noon on the 3rd day that the hotel had only reserved 2 nights for us. Probably a misunderstanding because we had named the 3 NIGHTS we wanted and I think they took it to mean arriving on the 1st date and checking out on the 3rd named date. They did help us get another hotel.
Review 4:Hotel arranged for a pickup at the airport because it was a middle of the night arrival. We did pay for it. Room was spacious and had a refrigerator, Hotel was very prompt to reply to emails re ride from airport and request for a balcony,
Review 5:Good location for exploring the city, very kind and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms and above all - excellent restaurant! I would recommend this place for Tana city trip.
Review 6:the wifi was killing me then since I needed to work as well. Sometimes it is kind of noisy out side since it is located at a crossroad.
Review 7:The staffs were really nice and helpful. The foods at the restaurant were yummy but a little bit pricy.
Review 8:Nothing within the hotel's control.
Review 9:Everything! Staff were a godsend to us after we had some issues with our trip (related to Air Madagascar). We ended up being stuck here for a few days longer than expected, but honestly, this is the best place in all of Tana to get stuck. Thank you guys!
Review 10:The bed was very short and weak for a Dutch couple
Review 11:Good price for good quality. Nice and clean rooms and the staff is very friendly. Definitely go for dinner at the restaurant because the food is superb. We were very surprised by the good quality of the food. The balcony rooms have a nice view over the city.
Review 12:Restaurant was closed between lunch and dinner, about 6 hours. There are busy. A couple of nearby restaurants though.
Review 13:Great accommodating staff. Madam Vrul in particular was a big help with speaking french and assistance with questions. Nice restaurant on site, with dinner the best meal offered.
Review 14:Traffic around the place but that is a problem wherever one goes when staying en ville.
Review 15:The atmosphere at the place. It is like a home away from home and one feels being part of the family
Review 16:Restaurant a little bit over priced for Madagaskar standard - but good quality
Review 17:Good Location - 10 min walk to the Center Very friendly staff Nice rooms Very clean - rooms and Hotel
Review 18:Can't think of anything bad. Even after 25 days. No complaints!
Review 19:Good location, slightly away from the centre of town but still within easy walking distance. All staff extremely friendly and helpful including arranging taxis and other things as required. Good bar including a selection of rhum arrangés. Food of excellent quality with a nice selection and the set menu is good value. Portions generous! Room very nice and clean. Overall good value for money.
Review 20:I stayed on 2 separate occasions, and the wifi did not work either time. The power also went out periodically. It was hot when I visited (December), but they at least gave us fans for the rooms.
Review 21:Staff was very nice, restaurant was good, rooms were small but very comfortable, bathroom/shower facilities were great. Overall really great value for the cost--basically a hotel for the price of a hostel.
Review 22:Room cleaning wasn't good. Found lot of cobwebs, dirt. Toilet had no ventilation. Room pretty small. Found hair in food.
Review 23:Staff helpful. Location isn't bad. Decent value for money.
Review 24:My first night was perfect ... one week later, on a lower floor and on another side of the hotel, I experienced heavy noise from the room above me and, in the early morning, noise from the staff outside. The (standard) rooms are a bit small.
Review 25:Everything. It is a very well run hotel, tastefully decorated, with nice plushy towels, good firm mattresses, pleasant bathroom, sufficient lightning, a desk for working, etc. The restaurant is nicely decorated, with a pleasant atmosphere, good service, very good food, and most reasonable prices. I did not use wifi but noticed that there is a PC for use by the clients.
Review 26:Perfect and very friendly!
Review 27:The craw always took care of us, and helped us.
Review 28:Beautiful and comfortable room with balcony. Quiet and clean.
Review 29:Pretty rooms, great staff and excellent food. Charming atmosphere. In door and out seating with cozy getaway niches.
Review 30:Very good restaurant at the hotel
Review 31:Tana traffic and powercuts
Review 32:Excellent service, friendly and helpfull staff and good food
Review 33:The staff was very arrogant and they would repeatedly forget to address your requests
Review 34:Nice rooms and comfortable
Review 35:Everything.
Review 36:It was not clear on the map the exact location which made it difficult for us to find our way on foot at the start of our stay
Review 37:Airport meeting Assistance from staff with arranging transport
Review 38:We requested a taxi to pick us up at the airport - the reception missed the booking - so we had to haggle for our own taxi, and were overcharged for getting to and from the hotel. When we finally got to the hotel we luckily had our email confirmation printed out as they had no idea about us coming. A room was supplied though so we came right in the end.
Review 39:Beautiful building. Amazing waiter, Jean-Pierre and helpful staff.
Review 40:There was a little bucket in the shower that I would have preferred not be there. Otherwise nothing
Review 41:Great value for money! I was surprised at how nice the building and accommodations were given the price. Very quiet. Good hot shower (in a separate room, unlike some other places). Nice staff. Good safe in room. I stayed another place previously booked in same price range in Tana and hugely regretted it. Wish I had stayed at les 3 mites again!
Review 42:We emailed before arrival, but they didn`t respond. All information given us by reception was wrong. Difficult to find your way round the city, and it didn`t help that they incorrectly marked the hotel location on the map.
Review 43:Clean comfortable rooms, good wifi, good breakfasts and dinner one night.
Review 44:They do not have maps of the city. Evening was not possible to eat.
Review 45:It is a very lovely place with charm and cosiness. Tana itself is not that much of nice place to be in Madagascar. But this hotel makes it very cosy and lovely. Private parking (important). Nice little design interior details (cosy). Good breakfast (nice). Good working wifi!
Review 46:Poor quality linens, shampoos and soaps. The toilet leaked. Wouldbe helpful if the shower had a curtain. Also, mosquito nets wouldbe helpful.
Review 47:The charm of the house and the lovely photos that capture the charm ofMadagascar. The food (thanks to Chef!) and the staff are fantastic.
Review 48:Hotel was ok but in restaurant we had to wait too long before getting our meals. Moreover a drunken guest was constantly going inside the kitchen: unacceptable!!
Review 49:a piece of nature in the city
Review 50:food was overpriced
Review 51:rooms were lovely staff was wonderful
Review 52:the staff helped us as we speak English and we needed help to make arrangements.
Review 53:Nothing.
Review 54:Very nice Hotel! Absolutely great! The Restaurant is also great!
