Review 1：It was tatty - dirty chairs for visitors in the entrance waiting area, dirty cushions on the dining room and terrace chairs, the bath was painted and chipped, the carpet on the stairs was very worn and dirty.

Review 5：very noisy..sound came up from the stadium and u could here music and PA..i know this is not controllable by staff but it did make relaxing difficult our room was at the top floor and the stairs were steep with a narrow tread..the staff kindly carried our luggage for us which really helped. not recommended for older customers or those with reduced agility.

Review 7：What a great find in Tana! The staff are wonderful, incredibly helpful, pleasant, polite, and assist with all of your requests. The hotel is in the older historic part of the city and is away from the noise of Basse Ville. The balcony overlooks the city and is a great spot for a drink or to enjoy meals. Breakfast is at an extra cost, but provides lots of options and is tasty. The hotel is more expensive than other locations, but well worth the extra couple of dollars.

Review 10：I would do some improvement on the look of the garden and even the green area outside the terrace... Plant some nicer flowers or bushes... (Madagascar has great vegetation), and would insist a bit more on the cleanliness of the carpets in the lobby and stairs. Overall the place is clean, and no objection on the room. We stayed in the English room.

Review 13：Great view from the terrace and the balcony from our room. Welcome drink and small cakes were super after a long journey. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Especially trying to find out our flight times which Air Mada had already changed twice. We had to leave at 4am but we were given a really good breakfast.

My only regret was we didn't stay longer. This hotel far outclassed the Carlton...which touts itself to be the best. My pick is Lokanga every time!

The room was gorgeous and so peaceful and I felt like the entire staff really cared and were so friendly. I only wished I could have stayed longer! I do know that I will definitely be returning.

Review 18：The location, one has to be careful during the day, dangerous at night. There is not a single restaurant in the surroundings, so one has to eat in the hotel.
