Review 1：We come to Szczecin pretty often, for 2 years or so already. Before the hotel was our favourite place to stop at but recently it has become a little worse and more expensive. For example we do not take the breakfast option anymore.

Review 2：It is not a bad option to spend a couple of nights in Szczecin.

Review 3：The Parking lot is a "Joke" It is secured by a Fence, but everybody can walk into the Parking lot. A stranger can drive out from the parking lot by using the left gate.

Review 4：We like to stay at Hotel Focus, because we can bring our dogs, and because you can take a sandwich and coffee to go for free. We like the place near the harbour, and a very nice Restaurant right next to the Hotel.

Review 5：Some lights in my room weren't working and one of them couldn't be fixed. I would welcome a clock radio with a lit time display.

Review 6：I liked the reliable WiFi, an extra stationary computer downstairs and the helpful staff.

Review 7：Reception and restaurant personal never smiled... :-( Very hot in the room , no aircon. There was a lot of noise from the streets. Shower was defect. it was not possible to regulate the water, it was either very cold or very very hot. and it could turn from very cold to hot in a second so i actually burned my self. Breakfast was under my expectations. cheaper hotels have much better breakfast.

Review 8：The cleaning staff was very helpfull when i needed them. They smiled and delivered good service.

Review 9：No fridge and tea and coffe was so basic it was hopeless. Plastic cups not good. The rooms were very ordinary and there was a smell of cabbage constantly in the building.

Review 11：Location was deceiving when you looked on the map it is further out than you think. Was not informed that the 1st May was a holiday everywhere was shut on the Friday. Very quiet for a city destination.

Review 13：I booked a double bed, it was actually two singles pushed together, with TWO single duvets. Sink had no plug, reception couldn't provide one so wasted lots of hot water having a shave.

Over 60€ - 1night - 2 pers w/ breakfast, that's almost what I've paid for 4* hotels in Cracow. - Bedroom overall dirty, especially the floor and the shower.

Review 33：Suited us well as we were visiting family. Room was adequate and not noisy even though it was by cobblestone road and good position for walking by river and exploring Szczecin. Breakfast good.

Review 34：we got room after 6p.m. and we can only imagine why (there was football team holding many rooms too long) but staff was trying to solve this problem asap, anyway we still had to ask for room if it's ready too many times, we got coffee for free when waiting. It was important to us to get this room quicker as we had some meeting arranged. Staff at reception was nice but not enough desperate to solve problem.

Review 36：I just wish the staff in these Polish hotels would smile. Some reception staff even looked away or down at the desk when you walked past. this is a major criticism but not unique to the Focus Hotel. One or two did make an effort to be pleasant. The Management should get a grip of this problem.

Review 37：the location was its best asset, we could walk to the centre in 10 mins and it is only a 15 min walk from the train station along the river. The breakfast was good for a buffet continental type, they offer a sandwich for you to take out maybe for lunch. The restaurant offered good food at a good price. The room (410) was huge with views from the side window to the lovely embankment and from the front windows to the river, it had tea and coffee making facilities. Beds were comfy and with the windows closed you couldn't hear a thing.

The international mix of people staying there. The friendly staff. That you are able to bring your dogs. Nice and clean.

Review 104：Bad cleaning. BrokenGlas and dirt and hair and other plastic things on the floor after check in. We have to ask for towels. We had just towels for one person. Second day we have to ask for toilette paper. And the third day they did not clean the room at all. We will not stay here anymore.

Review 106：Very helpfull and friendly staff, sauna after midnight, excellent breakfast, river view, central location (10-15 minutes walking distance or a 10 zloty taxi ride to the New Town where you find pubs, restaurants, nightlife. 5 minutes walking distance to the old town / castle / Hakenterasse.

Review 110：We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights, every day the warm water was only available in the morning (from about 8AM to 10AM). The staff was not able to do anything about it due to Christmas. Lack of warm water in winter season and no reasonable action to solve it during our stay was extremely frustrating (especially because our departure was 6AM). To be fair, after we left the hotel, we received a voucher for one night free stay in the future to compensate for this inconvenience. I don't think we will go back though.

Review 116：We simply liked everything in this hotel. The location and the view from the window are especially worthy. The room was spacious, clean and very nicely equipped. The heating was extremely strong, so cold weather is not an issue. The breakfast - very fair and not expensive, besides there were free sandwiches for takeaway - small thing but that makes a certain difference.

Review 117：There were no towels, when we arrived, later we recieved 1 small towel, the next day we recieved 4 clean towels. We had to ask for toilet paper. They didn't clean the 1.day. But they charged for our dog for all 4 days.

Other bars and restaurants within walking distance with a view of the water as well. Museum and other tourist sights nearby. Hotel room was very nice and very comfortable, good breakfast.
