Reviews for Hotel Blu
Review 1:The hotel was noisy - noisy guests next room arguing or talking very loudly. It was a little far out from the centre of Rieti. Breakfast was in packets.
Review 2:The best thing about this hotel were the owners. They were lovely friendly people. Giovanni asked us what he could cook for us. In no time we had a delicious pasta all'amatriciana and a mixed meat dish. It was very nice.
Review 3:Using as a hostel for many foreign young men. Extremely noisy all night with them on phones outside and in stairwell. Running up and down stairs all night. Tried to talk to desk staff but didn't understand english although the day before they had no problems with english!!!
Review 4:Wifi and beds were comfortable
Review 5:Hotel parking can acommodate only few cars, but there are adequate free parking alternatives very nearby. Bathroom in the room was somewhat too narrow.
Review 6:The hosts are simply amazing and constantly go an extra mile in their efforts to make you feel welcome. Genuine family atmosphere! Dinner in the restaurant within the premises was delicious and very reasonably priced. The hotel is rated as a three-star establishment, but the hosts, both in the hotel and their restaurant, deserve seven stars - each one of them. :)
Review 7:The distance, though on first encounter, might seem a little too far from the Rieti train station, I must say that, overall its the most decent hotel one can stay in Rieti. My only grouse is with the 2 male staff in this hotel. Both were equally uninterested in answering any of my questions, knowing well enough that I'm new to the area. The younger male staff told me that he's looking for a map for me upon my arrival. Well, I stayed there for 4 nights. No map(s) whatsoever, came my way. I almost felt I was a non-paying guest in this hotel because of the 2 males' unacceptable behaviour.
Review 8:I like the fact that there 2 female staff, who went out of their way to make me feel comfortable throughout my stay. One cooked really good authentic Italian food at an affordable price and the other attended to logistics. The room was made very clean and comfortable. Both ladies are angels. They made up for my grouses with the male staff members.
