Review 1：They harvest honey so there are bees around. But they really do not bother humans, and I ended up not even noticing them after a day. There also were some spider-looking bugs in our room but also not a big deal. You are staying out in the countryside where there are bugs! (There are screens, though, so that keeps mosquitoes etc out - you can sleep with the windows open!)
Review 2：My parents, sister, and I visited Le Gore for 3 nights and it was not enough time. Beautiful Tuscan countryside; quiet and off the touristy trail which everyone should do when traveling Italy. Getting there was not as difficult as I thought it would be. The roads are not marked as they are in the U.S. but there are also not as many roads so it is hard to get lost unless you go in the opposite direction. Follow signs for Selvena. The host family is wonderful! Even though we were limited in being able to have long conversations, given that our Italian was minimal (at best), they tried and were so warm and welcoming. And the food!!! Breakfast was a feast in Italian terms and dinner (traditional courses) was amazing! I loved the family-style dinner - all the guests ate at one big table. It was like being home. There is a nice pool, too, which was perfect for afternoon siestas. Very peaceful and relaxing. Nearby Sorano and Pitigliano are stunning. We hiked the vie cave and visited those smaller towns in the mornings and then relaxed in the hot afternoons with dinner in the evening. Visiting Le Gore was the last 4 days of our 2 week vacation in Italy (Rome, Florence, Siena), and at the end of the trip we all agreed that Maremma / Le Gore was our favorite part. It's a nice change of pace from busy Rome/Florence/Siena.
Review 3：Nothing. If I'm really picky I could say something about the wifi that was not so stable, but it was be repaired on the day I left. Let the fact that I have to make such a small remark, be interpreted as a confirmation of the quality of all the rest.
Review 4：Extremely nice location, very nice room, wonderful pool, superb local typical food, but above all... wonderful people to stay with. Davide and Lorena are just too nice a couple ;-) Absolutely recommended for a comfortable, stress-less, relaxing stay.
Review 5：I liked everything, as this was exactly what I was looking for.. However, if this is the day you do not want to be a part of the nature, but rather feel for the chaos of the city ..., choose another place... But go for Le Gore another time, when the tranquility and the beauty is your choice!:)
Review 6：No 1 during my 10 days travel in Tuscany! Wonderful, green, quiet and extremely beautiful place with very nice and intelligent owners, who know perfectly the places you need to visit, any taste!:) Quite hard to find, but i consider this to be an advantage, rather then disadvantage; as at the moment you finally find it... - it smells to be unique!!!
