Review 1：It was almost impossible to get someone to fix a running toilet. I wish you still used hand woven tablexloths and had high quality original art and crafts like you did in the 80s and 90s. It is very noisy fom the highway. Still, I have been coming here many times since 1988 and will come many more.

Review 2：I love the sunrise, light, big windows, rooms and view. I like breakfasts and staff, especially Maribel. I like that it is high on a hill and out of the hubub but close to it and one can always get a cab quickly.

Review 8：Location, location, location! An older hotel but with a fabulous view, great pool, great terrace bar, and free shuttle to the city centre. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Oaxaca if I had a choice.

Review 9：The pool was a lot smaller than it appeared in the pictures online. Ialso found dog/cat faeces at the edge of the pool but staff werequick to remove it once I showed them. My friend had to wait an hour ona drink order.

Review 10：The staff were very helpful and friendly and some spoke good English.IAlso had to change my booking and the hotel kindly obliged. The views ofOaxaca from the hotel were amazing.

Review 11：Carpet was old and not clean, air conditioner was not on when I came at night and it was too hot. Could not turn off the air conditioner in the middle of the night and was too noisy. Generally, the rooms are too outdated.

Review 16：Everything. They even let us use the pool after hours for a.little while. Great staff, go beyond to.give the extra mile. Perfect. Ultra comfortable bed, spacious room, uber clean, nice bathroom, very nice hotel.

Review 18：Wonderful position above Oaxaca but easy to get into town. Quiet. Breakfasts are superb. Good mexican and international food ( if you must) Have stayed here with family many times We stayed in Junior suites ( wife and grown child and girl friend)- very very good value for money

Review 19：The person who welcomed us was not friendly or helpful at all. The reception staff is not trained to deal with simple requests. We had a lot of problems adding the restaurant bills to our room because we did not appeared on the system.

Review 21：The bathrooms STANK! I had to ask for the cleaner to come because of the stench from the drains that greeted us when we came in. A chap toddled up with a tin of air freshener. Not good enough. I had to ask a second time, and I had to explain that this was a job that required bleach. Not exactly five star.
