Review 1：The hotel is old and smells like rotten wood and looks dirty. The rooms are dingy and smell old. Staff is unresponsive and not helpful when you make inquires (I am fluent in Spanish, so I know when staff do not want to bother helping or are annoyed that you are giving them more work than they have to... ) This is particularly true for the front desk concierge staff. They seem to have no clue on how to manage simple requests. The phone in my room didn't work and they had no idea how to unblock it. I tried making calls from reception but staff said they couldn't transfer calls on mobile phones. Also, they never forwarded messages that where left for me since I was looking for other accommodations around the island (I am staying here for 2 months). Wifi is poor even though I was in the room literally in front of the antenna ( even if you give the excuse it is an island, it is not valid as I have moved out and wifi is splendid in the new location. ) they also charged me twice at checkout because the girl seemed to not understand the credit card machine and changed it. Now I have to be bothered to go back and get my money refund.The bar staff is kind, but waiters and the kitchen staff also seem annoyed when requested to change something. I am highly intolerant to lactose (milk and derivates such as cheese) and I had to keep sending back plates because they kept putting cheese and cheese sprinkles everywhere. One plate had to go back 3 times. May I remind you that I speak fluent Spanish. I also assure you I always asked politely for everything. An older waiter actually gave me the check and asked me to sign "because it was closing" one morning at about 930 am at breakfast, even though it closed at 11 am. He got annoyed I guess because I wouldn't drink his carton juice and asked that instead they blend my fruit salad. I also sent back my scrambled eggs because they sprinkled cheese on it. Again.

Review 2：The bed was ok. Toiletries are organic.

Review 3：Furniture is a bit old, bed sheets and towels had some yellow spots on them. No beach access directly from hotel, you have to go to one of the beach clubs and there is no shuttle. Dive shop closed very early.

Review 10：We have stayed here 4 times now and like the location, the small hotel feel, the staff, the 2-level bungalow for our family to have more room, the food is good and we feel we get value for our money.

Review 11：There was something sharp in the bottom of the pool (a sharp edge of a piece of tile?). Cut my daughter's foot, my foot, and another guests. Hotel might want to look into that. Other than that, amazing stay!

Review 12：Location, value for the money. When we arrived they offered a meals and drinks included option that turned out to be a GREAT deal! I think we all gained another 5-10 lbs during our stay! Great stay, would do it again - no complaints.

Review 13：The hottub was not working when I was there and I don't think it was noted on the website. The beds seemed very hard after a few days. It would be nice to either have coffee makers in the rooms or have coffee available in the lobby. It would be nice to have the option of a refrigerator, also. Coffee makers and refrigerators are available in the most expensive rooms but not the other rooms.

Review 14：The staff was very friendly and helpful. The snorkeling area was nice. It was also nice to have a parking place in back for the rental car. The grounds were well maintained.

Review 15：Bed sheets had stains and cig holes burned in them. Not a real pool on the roof (1" deep). Also, the whole place is a little run down. I don't mind that in most places, but this place is trying so hard to be hip and modern those details just make it look lame.

Review 25：The shower was hot and clean, the staff was prompt and friendly, the food at the hotel was good and priced fair, the wifi was good but only available in the lobby, there were 3 tv channels in english, there is snorkeling right off the manmade beach at the hotel, and also a dive shop located across the street. I am very pleased with this hotel, this was my second stay there and it was for one week both times!
