Review 1：the rooms were a bit smelly (but clean). to reach the medina it takes around 20 minutes by foot

Review 2：the staff was very friendly, the rooms are rather old but clean. the breakfast room is nicely arranged. the beach is just a few steps by foot.

Review 4：The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and we had a poolside room with balcony. The breakfast was good . It was excellent value for money and we would definitely stay here again. Easy to get a taxi into the centre or a 20min walk but very near to the beach. Quiet and very safe and secure

Review 5：We requested an iron, one member of staff (female on desk) said not available, however we requested again next day and they said there was one available! It still took nearly whole day but got one to use in the end. Breakfast provides a number of items and until 11am, which is good however if you come in the last hour, expect to find items not refilled! This is disappointing and embarrassing to request food items from the staff and cups and glasses etc. This is an area needing improvement.

Review 6：Swimming pool is nice to dip in and for kids to play, beech is 5min walk. Quiet end of beech, however 15-20min walk to old medina. Could order food via reception from their local restaurant/takeaway. Clean towels daily and cleaning of room's available.

Review 7：On first morning there was hardly any breakfast left at 10am (serve till 11am). Other mornings were fine though. Our room overlooked the pool and it was very noisy as it echoes children shouting and screaming. There was also a lot of excessive noise from some young children very late at night (up to midnight) Essaouira is windy....when the wind is strong it's virtually impossible to sit on the beach.

Review 8：Pretty and traditional hotel with a pool. Set away from main roads so reasonably quiet. Lots of little touches gave it a very moroccan feel. Very clean. Staff very helpful especially when we wanted to organise activities e.g. quad biking and hammam. Beach is stones throw away but the medina (which is essentially where everything happens) is 30 min walk or 10dirham taxi which you can hail on the roadside. When it's not windy the beach is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen and the sunset stunning. Essaouira is a really charming place, well worth a few days at least.

Review 18：The pool was inviting, but lacks loungers in the sun. The pool itself was dirty in that the flotsam (leaves, hairs etc) was not filtered. It was an overflow pool that was not filled to the top. The hotel is in need of a makeover.

Review 19：The first "junior suite" we were shown was very disappointing, but when we complained we were shown a more suitable room with a very large balcony (in fact, we had the use of two other balconies both equipped with table chairs and sun loungers)

Review 20：I thought the facilities were rather neglected. Eg some of the pool chairs were broken and the ropes around the pool were very tatty and broken. The shutters in the bedrooms did not work.
