Review 1：Service not existing, no possibility to lay down next to the pool, hotel towers are totally spoiling the landscape, far from Ipoh centre

Review 3：The view from the balcony and the fresh air abound. Good trekking path although it is just around the pool. Good friendly staffs especially those manning the breakfast section.

Review 6：The staff and service at times was great and at other times was awful. We needed to ask for a fork to be brought up to the room and it took 2 goes and then I had to go down to the restaurant and take one to actually get one. Very poor service for a '5' star hotel. Honestly no idea how this got 5 stars when I had stayed in a 4 star (same scoring system) in Penang that was a lot better.

Review 10：It took us a whole hour to check in. Although it was after two, they only had one out of our two apartments ready. We waited another two hours and when asked they said they had forgotten to tell us when the room was ready! Daily cleaning not great and we had to ask housekeeping to clean the floors as we had a baby who was crawling. Buffet breakfast in the ballroom was horrendous. Coffee was cold, food was hard and not refilled. We ate out the following days.

Review 20：1. Breakfast venue at the Premier restaurant (level 1 Tower B) is not a suitable place as the guests have to wait for long time to get into the lifts. It is overly crowded. No alternative way is available to go to the first floor. 2. The Cuisine restaurant is not open until 7pm (this was on 26 Dec 2015). We were trying to dine (alarm carte) in at about 5pm but told it is not available. 3. No proper shower area for master bedroom. Showering inside the bath tub caused the water to sip out and flood the bathroom (despite us being very careful)

Waiting time for lunch was diabolical, nearly 2 hours for a sandwich and burger and they imposed a 'Christmas Tax' on the beer - charged us double than what was first advised. Not worth the money

The hotel was relatively empty.Why give us such a room just because we booked via booking.com? When we highlighted this, we were told we need to pay 20% more if we wanted to change rooms. But you did not point this out when booking....

Review 28：The service at the front office is slow and poor. We arranged taxi one day beforehand and apparently they didn't book it. We ended up waiting for 30 minutes for the taxi. There's no apology or explanation from the staff. We left our luggage at the hotel and the staff doesn't know how to place a tag and pass us the luggage ticket for exchange later. In fact we were the one who taught them how to do it. They seem to be extremely inexperienced. It's located far from everywhere and we need at least 30mins for the taxi to come. It wouldn't matter if we drive though.

Review 47：Checked-in was very slow as there were only 2 counters. Made us stand very long waiting. Astro channel reception was not good. There was foul smell coming out from the toilet drainage area in the middle of night, makes us not very comfortable. But we didn't made complain as just staying for a night.

Review 48：The location is very near to Lost World Tambun. Nice scenery and great for city escapade. The security is very efficient. Not hard to find the place as signboard is strategically placed.

I was wearing dri-fit tights and jersey. They didnt let me to swim and relax at the steam bath. Really dissapointed. 2) Knock Room at midnite - the staff knock our room at midnite bcoz the residence complained we making noise. Totally not fair. We came for enjoy not for sitting at one place and watching tv.

Great facilities, comfortable beds, clean and modern with a beautiful view.

The location is really idyllic and tranquil, with backdrop of mountains and hills and natural landscape that blended in with the swimming pool. 2. Can't feel any more secure than this. 4. Very friendly staff!! The 1st security guard at the entry is so friendly and informative. Review 134：The development is a residential buildings, which the owners have turned 1 tower into a hotel which offer apartments as rooms, i was not at all impressed with the set-up..there are no shuttle services available on the day the one driver they have decide not to come to work.. there were no activities in the hotel as its a residential development...with other tenants living in the same compound i think they need to mention this clearly on their website..

The room servicewas horrible as well (took them an hour to deliver the food, aftercalling them a second time). The food delivered was terrible, mostly toosalty (not worth the amount spent). Much improvement is needed in theF&B department.

Review 143：The location was beautiful, situated next to a lake, the view waswonderful to wake up to. The room was well-furnished and very clean (ahuge plus for me). The kitchen facilities were well-maintained and therooms were very comfortable and spacious. The swimming pool was great!We had a lot of fun. There are two dedicated pools to wade in forchildren, one which comes with a slide. The deeper pool was overlookingthe lake which was really cool. Also, a multi-storey carpark isavailable for guests to park their cars.
