Review 1：Hotel Conte is located on the waterfront of beautiful Perast. It was a delight to stay at this hotel and have breakfast every day overlooking the Bay. The breakfast selection was incredible- we had a range of cured meats, cheeses, grilled vegetables, hot food options and fruits. The restaurant in the evening was very romantic and served great seafoods and local wines. The lady at the reception spoke very good English and provided us with useful advice. The hotel room itself was spacious.

Review 7：The view from our sea view room was relaxing and beautiful. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Conte. After the first incredible meal we decided not to try other places. The breakfast was the best we had in three weeks of travel.

Quiet part of Kotor Bay without loud restaurants and similar facilities so it is perfectly suitable for visitors who look this type of vacation. From Perast you can go almost anywhere in Bay and visit many beautiful ancient and historical artefacts, so don't be lazy ask staff for advice where to go and of course Google it :D.

Review 27：The only problem I can see is that there si no area to sunbath or swin related to the hotel (others had this) but there are plenty of other public areas to use.

Review 28：The staff here cannot do enough for you. The location is superb, the hotel building and room decor is completely in character as though you are straying at an old monastry. Parking is tricky anywhere in Perast but the staff really made this easy for us. The food in the cafe and restaurant are also excellent. Highly recommend this place. We paid for a sea view and it was well worth it.

Review 29：Breakfast is everyday the same and not much choice, after 4days becomes boring. We were accomodated in one room where AC was noisy but after they replaced us in another. No beach towels, take your own.

Review 42：Guests should be aware that some rooms are located away from the main body of the hotel. The junior suites are also really just double rooms. And overall it's over priced for what it is which is, fundamentally, a mid range hotel. Perast is not very suitable for young children as no beaches and cars on the single track road.

Review 44：The hotel is situated in the heart of the little town of Perast. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was amazingly comfortable for two couples. The breakfast was fantastic. Great choice enjoyed by all. The hotel is a little more expensive than elsewhere but definitely worth it!!! Would stay again.

Review 45：Bad breakfast (water and jucies were at room temperature, and flies were all over the food). The hot water is provided by an electric boiler that needs a long time to heat and doesn't provide enough hot water for 2 consecutive showers… It is very hard to park there because 1) there's a gate at the entrance of Perast that is operated by some very unpolite guys; and 2) there are very few parking spots and you have to be very lucky to find a free one. However, the hotell stuff will gladly park the car for you when a spot becomes available.

Review 93：Not all of the rooms have a view of the bay. We booked the last roomavailable so we were in a room without a view but we didn't spendtoo much time in the room. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed atin Montenegro but it was still a terrific value. I think it was over 100Euros a night but that's a far less than what you'd spend for asimilar quality hotel in other European cities. I can't think ofanything else. It was a struggle to come up with anything I could labela negative about this hotel. I highly recommend it.

Review 94：Perast is a small, charming town on Kotor Bay largely built when it wasunder Venetian control and the Hotel Conte is a wonderful place to staythere. My wife and I stayed there for four nights in early September.It's right on the bay next to the clock tower and has a restauranton the water's edge. That restaurant was fantastic with amazingatmosphere, food, wine and service. I had the best meal of our entireMontenegro vacation at the Hotel Conte.The staff was top notch and even packed us huge breakfast/lunch bags when we had to leave early one day on a day trip to Dubrovnik. You can't beat the location as a home base for exploring Kotor Bay. And you MUST try the squid stuffed with ham and cheese at the restaurant with a bottle of Vranac. It's amazing.

Review 110：Parking here is a bit tricky. We arrived at night so we couldn't figure out where to go...Hotel Conte is in the old town of Perast which is a restricted driving area...once we figured that out we managed. You have to go through a lift gate to get to the single lane of road along the water...it's very chaotic and Montenegran drivers win for being the craziest out of the 5 countries we drove through. We did manage two parking spaces right in front of the hotel, so it can be done. However, they suggested we take the bus into Kotor rather than move our cars and lose our spots! We did and it all worked out great. If you are not driving here then you have nothing to worry about!

Review 111：This hotel was fantastic. The location is unbelievable...right on the bay, the rooms were spread out under the church tower. When we arrived at night and were taken to our apartment a short walk from the main building we were thinking "what the heck have we gotten ourselves into?!" Imagine our surprise when the concierge undid a padlock on a massive wood door to let us into the courtyard of our 8 person apartment! It was stunning at night and waking up to amazing views of the Bay was even better! The 8 person apartment was fantastic; amazing wooden staircase, modern fixtures, plenty of space for everyone and a private courtyard with a dining table, patio furniture and a hot tub (that they will fill for you at a price). There were lemon and lime trees growing in there and half the courtyard was covered so we were able to sit outside comfortably during a massive rain storm. Breakfasts were included in our room rate (which was very reasonable for 8 people) and they put out an excellent spread. We also ate in their restaurant both nights of our stay because the food quality was that good. And oh my lord the parfaits they gave our kids on the last night!!! Attention to detail at this hotel was fantastic, they went out of their way to make us comfortable and offered great suggestions for our visit. If you are going to Perast or even Kotor, I highly recommend this establishment!

Review 121：The room was pretty small, once you come in with your suitcase you can hardly move anymore, the sofa and table could be smaller. On our first day the person at the reception was not very helpful (there was a festival in the city and we tried to find a partking for our car...) but the second day it was another one who was very nice.

The water had low pressure - if someone else in the building was using it at the same time- it was barely there. When we shared this with the staff, they pretended to be surprised - poor reaction since obviously this problem is not accidental but permanent. Overall the price is too high for the quality you get. Anyway there is no no better place to stay in Perast and the restaurant in-front is very nice, so may be just set right your expectations.
